Little did we know when we walked into Leslie Dufresne's office (instead of the information center) that we had just met the most amazing realtor we’ve ever encountered. That meeting by chance turned into an opportunity to work with Leslie that I wouldn’t trade for anything. After we returned home, she shepherded us through many communities in Lakewood Ranch, quickly honing in on the right choices for us. She indulged me a full day and a half of in-person searching while visiting later on that winter. She found us the 100 percent best option for our needs. Her work with us when Lennar blew up the buying process and turned it into a bidding process was nothing short of heroic. It would have been easy for her to say that we were just “too much work” at that point of time, but instead she doubled down and worked twice as hard on our behalf. Through the bidding process, to the building process, to the closing, Leslie has been part realtor, part friend, part therapist and got us to the finish line even though I feared we’d never get there. Leslie is insightful, anticipates the next steps – and the steps beyond that – to make buyers like us comfortable, informed, excited and motivated. Matt is a rare fellow in real estate. We have been part of numerous real estate transactions over the years and met many good people. But we haven't met any with the business acumen that Matt possesses, combined with a genuine desire to get to know us, and act on our behalf. We invested several weekends looking at properties and Matt was paying attention. He never pressured us or made any requests of us other than to explore until we knew what we wanted. When we found what we wanted in Lakewood Ranch, Matt gave us great advice on how to make the offer and counter offers. Laura Stavola is an excellent realtor! Houses don't sell themselves. Most listing agents will not attend the showings, but the showing is the demonstration of the house. Before signing up with Laura, she told me that she or somebody from her office would be present at all showings. She kept her word and she was able to sell the house within the first week. Laura is very knowledgeable and I highly respect her opinions. She is a reasonable person and kept in excellent communication with everyone. She is also a kind person. Additionally, her assistant, Lorin Cabrera, was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
