Sun Discount Pharmacy

My mom is a diabetic and has been unable to fill her prescription for over a month at Walgreens, or really at any pharmacy in Indiana for that matter. Her normal pharmacy even said it would be another month before they could help. She was visiting for vacation and struggling without her Trulicity. After explaining the situation to Bob, he quickly checked for stock and was very accommodating. The pharmacy staff were so very helpful and patient while they helped transfer the prescription and get my mom set up as a new customer. My mom was finally able to get her medicine and I could not be more grateful to Sun Pharmacy for their quality service, kindness, and patient assistance.

I have to applaud this pharmacy and everyone who works there. Whenever I have a question, discrepancy, misscommunication with my doctor or insurance company, they have figured it out and taken excellent care of me and my family. I truly belive that independant pharmacies are the only way to go and will become increasingly more important in terms of trust and quality. Customer service exceeds my expectations and I will never go back to a corporate pharmacy.

Since recommended I've gone no place else. Professional, personal fasr care. Excellent low prices. family owned your treated like you're part of the family. Willing to take the time to teach and explain. Always quick service even the owner gets involved. I feel like I have someone in my corner. One issue parking is very limit. However they make up for it every other way. Like me plz new place it is so nice

I have been using this pharmacy for more than 10 years. Actually, since they opened. Other than a bump in the road here and there, I have stayed with them even after a half dozen moves. In fact, I moved last month but I will continue to go to Sun Discount because in the end, they have always proven to be faster, better and nicer than all the others I have tried. This is a quality establishment where the owner seems to oversee everything to make sure you are treated right. All of the staff treat you well and I've never had an issue. You can rely on this pharmacy for sure.

What’s not to like. Staff was very responsive. My prescriptions were filled promptly and the prices are amazing.

I needed two different eye drops for my cataract surgery. Publix wanted almost $600. I got them at Sun discount pharmacy for less than $200.

I love this pharmacy so much. The staff are incredibly kind, caring and passionate. I choose this pharmacy over big brand pharmacies because they treat me like a human, they make eye contact and always greet me with a smile. Whenever there have been errors, its because of the big pharmacies, this is why I recommend this pharmacy to everyone in Sarasota! They care and love!

I've been going to sun pharmacy for a few years now, and they have always went above and beyond exceeding customer service. They are timely, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

I have to mention that the Manager, Glendy has to be the nicest manager I've ever met. Even when they are slammed, she never makes you feel like a bother, takes time to figure out any questions or concerns, and when she says she will get something done, she does it right away.

They didn't ask me to review, but I had to show a token of my appreciation in some way. Im a firm believer that businesses deserve recognition, especially when there is so much competition in this town. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

There aren’t enough stars on Google review to show how awesome this pharmacy is. It’s privately owned and run by someone who knows what an old fashioned pharmacy is. The attention and care and accuracy are evident every time I deal with this pharmacy. They go out of their way to do things right and to offer any and all options for filling prescriptions. I work for a physician in the area and we recommend this pharmacy to all of our patients who are struggling with cost and availability for expensive prescriptions but their prices are the most competitive in the area to begin with. Bob and his staff are experts at finding the best coupons, promos, and prices for prescriptions WITHOUT even being asked to. Thank you guys for all you do for the community especially during this time of health crisis.

I absolutely love this pharmacy they are always a huge help and very respectful and polite. There employee Glendy specifically is always a huge helping hand for me always going above and beyond and putting the customer before anything else which I love the most. She is extremely nice and is always saying hi to my daughter and making her laugh whenever I’m in the drive thru or whenever I walk inside. She is great and I hope the business recognizes the HARD drive she puts forth for the company. Glendy is really one of the main reasons I enjoy my experience coming to get my prescriptions from there. But as a company in general very hard working very professional and I wouldn’t go to any other pharmacy. They have my respect all the way and I will refer any family friends or coworkers to Sun discount pharmacy.

I am working with Bob at Sun Discount Pharmacy since last 3 years. He is one the nicest and friendly person I seen. It is great to work under his professional guidance. Sun Discount Pharmacy is the place where Customer is getting friendly, quick and less hassle service. Bob saved lots of our customer's money by finding manufacturing coupons and applying it to their prescription.

Sun Discount Pharmacy is different compare to other chain in lots of ways.

First, here you can always know the pharmacist personally and you are able to talk with him anytime for any guidance.

Second, the service is very efficient and fast compare to chains. You don't have to wait long for your prescriptions. Lets me explain my personal experience, in past I got prescription to fill so I drop off that at one of the top pharmacy chain and they told me to come back next day to pick up my prescription, guess what, when I went there next day, they told me to come back after 2 hours because the prescription was not ready at that time. Here, at Sun Discount Pharmacy we always make sure that we don't waste people's valuable time and energy.

Finally, Money is the one which everyone wants to save. Here at Sun Discount Pharmacy we always get manufacturing coupons for our patient to help them save lots of money. Right now our customers are saving hundreds of dollars because we don't have big overhead and we are able to find those saving coupons for our customer.

I have been using Sun Discount for years now. Bob and his staff are the kindest, caring and most efficient group of people I am proud to know. When I became disabled and could no longer drop off my prescriptions, or pick them up...they set up a delivery schedule free of charge. They keep track of when my prescriptions are due to be refilled and call me to set up refill and delivery dates. I have never in my life been to a pharmacy that takes such pride and consideration to their customers needs. Just visited Sun Pharmacy for the first time at the recommendation of our physician. Saved a significant amount of money for my husband’s prescription. Had priced the same medication at one of the “chain “ pharmacies and the difference in price was amazing. Great customer service, friendly, professional staff. Will definitely be going back .
