Checkers

I hadn't come to this location for months even though it's in the neighborhood where I work. I decided to go for lunch recently. I ordered.for 2 people and tried to order my favorite desert, the brookie, but they don't have it anymore. Instead I was pleasantly surprised with the new additions. I ordered a hot fudge sundae of sorts that is new and as I was going to the window to pay out of my eye I see funnel cake fries. I of course asked for it as I was paying. The employee at the drive through was Maria I believe. She was very sweet and totally accommodating of my request. When my Sundays came out I was greeted with the person I believe who made them. Unfortunately they were caramel instead of chocolate. I felt bad to ask for her to make them again but she also was so accommodating and came out with the most beautiful Sundays I've ever seen. I wanted to take pictures. She then apologized thoroughly for the mistake of which I totally thanked her for her service and just all around great customer service and just good attitude and promptness in getting my order correct. She respected my time. I don't normally go out of my way to do this but they were great. And because of them and the new additions to the menu, I'll be returning soon. In closing I hope that these women are in some way recognized for their stellar customer service, but for just first being decent human beings with respect and obvious pride in their work. I commend them on the hiring and I want to say thank you again Maria and Lorie. I'll see you soon 😊👍 👏👏👏

Came out to Florida for vacation and checkers will be my first recommended drive thru place. Thank you Maria for giving me such a welcoming experience. She had such a amazing and positive attitude. She definitely deserves a blessing like a paid vacation or a raise. 💯

What can you say about the atmosphere of checkers. They are picking up where steak n shake left off. Black n white check building....but the food, it's good tasting and fast and the bacon melts in your mouth . I'd, do it....again anytime

Absolutely amazing fries, however I don't think you can eat inside, the service isn't the best as there aren't many employees there. It's just a nice drive through if you want to grab some nice hot fries and a burger, I recommend for the Food.

I had an excellent experience at the tavares location on 05/05/2024 the lady working the drive-through I did not catch her name but she was super sweet understanding and did an absolutely amazing job.

I love going to this drive thru location because Maria is awesome. She's always on point very lovely and kind 💛

I love a good Checkers, when I walked in the counter lady greeted me. Yes this Checkers does have an indoor dining room. I ordered the #1 with Coke. I don’t drink a lot of soda maybe because it is often watered down and does not taste right. The coke was not too sweet but just right and not watered down. The fries were hot and tasty. You could tell the oil was not old. The Big Buford sandwich was fresh and well made. The tomato was firm and red and the lettuce was crisp green. I was very pleased with this location. The dining room was clean. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. It was locked when I arrive but it was quickly unlocked.

Lady at window was very nice and welcoming ,they’re working hard and have great service!

My favorite chicken sandwitch place ..2 for.6.50.double spicy chicken is thee best deal

Bearing in mind we got the "$5 Meal" just to see if they could actually feed someone for $5. We were pleasantly surprised! Granted the portions are on the smaller side, but not tiny. We felt satisfied as a lunch meal. We would go back anytime 😃

I'm a checkers fan. They have a tasty menu. Not the actual menu, but the food listed on it. The deep sea double And the bacon burgers are my favorite. My only complaint is please let us back inside or add a walk up window.

They keep the drive thru moving, I have a big family, and most places make me feel rushed to complete my order. I did not feel rushed when placing my order at this Checkers; they even took the time to give us the rundown on a couple types of chicken wings. The order was spot on and they supplied plenty of napkins.
