So I had some extensive maintenance I wanted done to my car but I have never had occasion to use a local mechanic. So based on reviews I decided on Lake County Auto Service. What a great experience. From the owner, service writer and the mechanics they are a great group of people but also honest, professional and extremely competent. I am very pleased with the level of service I received and the attention given to my vehicle. No matter what your service need they should be your "go to" place. Tough to find good service professional these days; look no further than Lake County Auto Service.

This is where you need to bring your car!!! What a great experience! I had my car at Jeep dealership (Advantage jeep) and had a terrible experience. I went looking for a "better" place to take my Jeep and came across this place! They got my Jeep right in, they gave me better pricing and they completed the work in one day! The customer service was top notch, explaining everything to me before doing any work. Finding a GOOD mechanic/shop is difficult, its hard to trust anyone! I 100% have complete trust in this shop and will be bringing all my vehicles here now. I just assumed that the dealership was the place to take my Jeep, not the case!!! Lake County Auto was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do.

There is a lot to say about Lake County Auto! From the guys in the back, the owner, to the front desk, they are a great group! Knowledgeable, friendly, patient and most importantly, they are trustworthy! After a horrible experience with a recall at a local dealership, not only did they fix the dealerships error but gave us the confidence that they could fix the additional issues. All fixed, runs like a champ and back within a day! We cannot thank them enough! Won’t be taking our cars anywhere but Lake County Auto!

My2005 Mitsubishi was practically on life support, and I was unsure whether or not it was worth fixing. Problem was it was difficult finding any mechanic that would do major work on Mitsubishis. Lake County Auto Service said they could do the work but would look it over and advise me if it was worth it. Totally glad I went to them. After inspection, they said it probably wasn't worth it. They could have probably done some work on it, but their honesty lead me to just get another car.
P.S. It's a Mitsubishi, but at least I know now where to take it.

First, Tiffany is amazing. She seems like she has a PhD in auto mechanics, but is able to explain everything in layman’s terms. They are fantastic mechanics and good people.

Best auto place around. My wife and I have taken both our cars here several times, and we always have a great experience. Andrew is very knowledgeable, polite, and has good, fair pricing.

First time using this shop, and wow was I impressed. Professional, courteous, honest, fast and affordable. I was having some serious issues with my truck, they got me in the same day. Diagnosed the issues within a couple of hours and had me on the road again by 2:00 p.m. the next day.

This is my go-to spot now. Really great experience. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Andrew and his team for fixing my 2012 Honda due to squirrels chewing on some wires, they all also did a full service on maintenance items and had the vehicle done by the end of day.

We have had an intermittent problem with our 2013 Hyundai. We took it to the Hyundai dealership and they told us we needed a fuel pump and the cost was over $1000. We decided to take it to Lake County Auto. They checked the pump and could not find a problem. They found an oxygen sensor code and a lean burn code which were erased and have not returned. They did not charge us a diagnostic fee (as opposed to $170 at the dealership) and were honest with us. Whatever the problem is, it will likely get worse and we told them we would bring the car back at that time. Actually, we will be doing all of our service here in the future. Great folks!

I have taken my truck here a few times recently. I also took my wife's vehicle here and Andrew did an amazing job. He gave me some advice for keeping her car working long term as well. Andrew is honest, friendly and the prices are great especially during these economic times. I highly recommend coming here for your automotive needs.

Honest and fair pricing. Spotless and not cluttered shop ( you don't find this type of cleanliness often ). I looked around and stopped by to check it out before having my car worked on. They have a couple lifts necessary for proper servicing of your vehicle.

The owner (Andrew) and his family are well established in Lake County.

Absolutely amazing experience with a water pump replacement for my car. Shop owner is extremely Sharp and professional. He took time to listen to my needs & concerns, as I have a very unique foreign-made hybrid vehicle with high mileage, and he took the initiative to find the most precise repair solution at the best price. I highly recommend this shop and would definitely do business with him anytime in the future.

I was referred to LCAS by my neighbor and was pleasantly surprised at the level of ease to schedule an appointment, the review of charges BEFORE the work was started, and the overall kindness if the staff. This mechanics shop is on the grow and gave me the confidence of knowing my car care was in very good hands.

I bought a car from CARVANA and the first thing I did was get it inspected, diagnosed and test driven by LAKE COUNTY AUTO SERVICE. I did this before the 7 day return policy was up. I am grateful for the mechanics thorough inspection which was sent via text/email. I will be doing my 100K mile service pretty soon.
