The Minnow Bucket Antiques

This is one of the few “ethical” antique stores that are out there - actually caring about history and preservation of provenance. I love that the rooms and displays are thoughtful curated, objects are clean and the owner was extremely friendly when we visited, even if it was close to close!

This is a fun antique mall, with many different booths. Each vendor has their own unique gifts and collectibles. Plenty of parking.

This is a must stop in Port Royal, a friendly antique shop with lots of interesting goodies! Lots of vintage, actual antique and primitive items! The (new) owners of 2.5 years have transformed this shop to a must see!!!

It's one of the nicest shops I've ever been to. Of course, money was spent. Adding more stuff to haul in the Subi and utility trailer. Totally worth it!

Great little.. well not that little antique store. Great fair prices. Mostly old niknaks that will carry you back to your grand parents home and garage. Old toys even some I didnt even know they made. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would reccomend the Minnow Bucket to everyone who loves antiques. This isnt an antique furniture store they do have some. And make sure you say hello to there ghost that roam the halls.

Under new management since autumn 2019, much improved with greater fidelity to vintage and antique offerings. A very pleasant and helpful owner at the register makes the stop and experience worthwhile.

They were very nice and had the candles I like. If we had more time we would have looked around more, it was a nice place and very friendly

Took a drive down towards Tappahannock with the Port Royal area being a quick stop on the way. We had a great time hunting for treasure in The Minnow Bucket Antiques Shop, and chatting with the proprietor. Although it is not a huge antique mall, there is a good mix of antiques, ephemera, books, advertising, LP's and vintage bric-a-brac. Items are displayed well and prices are fair. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit! We'll definitely return.
