Murdock's Bistro & Char Bar

We were looking for a place for a birthday dinner, and picked this place at random. Talk about a good choice!!

Our server was friendly, and guided us to some incredible food choices. Our drinks were simply excellent. Neither of us are usually big fans of wings, but we tried them and we can't rave enough about how great they were. That wet lemon flavor is incredible! Our meals were outstanding. The beef tips salad was delicious, as was the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. If we weren't so full, we'd have tried dessert, but the meals were so good we couldn't stop eating and had no room left!

It's probably a good thing we don't live too close to this place, or we'd be here every couple of weeks!

We came here for a mini vacation getaway and found this place and decided why not, we were not disappointed in this place.

Our server (Chris?) Sorry if I got that wrong was a great guy, helped us out a lot. The Lemon Pepper wet rub was fantastic, and I'm not a wing with bones in kinda guy. The flavor just made it so good. I had the Buffalo Mac and cheese, another great dish, I'd definitely recommend that one, and it wasn't from a box, chessey and just the right amount of kick.

If we ever make it back here. This will be our stop. Thank you guys for a great meal.

My friend and I came in on a rainy Tuesday evening around 7 pm. There was no one else in the whole place. After a while it filled out though. We had some great beer while eating food and talking forever. Service was laid back but checked on us a few times. I definitely want to go back for more comfort food!

Everything is cooked fresh, super nice folks working here, very attentive, patient, and welcoming despite being busy and possibly short staffed. I ordered the Monty Wrap, which has...pulled pork, fries, AND Mac & cheese inside, and it was amazing. Definitely would recommend this sandwich again, and come back to try some other snacks. They're also dog friendly and were quick to offer water to the pup!

If you live or visiting the Cocoa area. You definitely need to go and check out Murdock’s Bistro & Char Bar! The food there is amazing. Especially the Brisket Wrap! The atmosphere was great. The staff was super friendly and professional and the comedy show was hilarious! Great job Murdock’s Bistro & Char Bar!

My husband and I stopped in after the craft fair to grab a bite to eat and everything was absolutely amazing!
The pulled pork nachos are delicious, I was skeptical of the jalapeño ranch sauce being too spicy but it wasn’t and it brought it all together.
Our service was great, very attentive, and super funny. I wish I would’ve grabbed her name!
We will definitely be back.

Everything was amazing. Our server was wonderful, the food was very good. Three of us ordered burgers all cooked to a different liking and they all came out perfect and hot. The drinks were really good as well. We will be going back. So glad we gave Murdocks a try.

We stopped in for lunch and got the Brisket Poutine and Pulled Pork wrap. Both were awesome and the smoked meat was on point. Definitely will be back to try some of the other unique dishes.

Enjoyed lunch midweek. Was greeted and served by the owner who was friendly and happy to tell us about the history of the restaurant location. My friend and I both ordered salads and they were excellent. I was looking for a healthy, light lunch option and the Mahi salad was a great choice. The grilled fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Will return again soon!

Best fish I have ever had! The batter coating had the perfect crisp! The side of fries (don't remember if that's the correct word for these) were fantastic as well. They are made from a whole potato that has been sliced, with skin and all...delicious! My wife had a salad that was very good as well. This place did not disappoint. We are from Omaha NE and when we come back, this will be a place we will definitely come back to! Thanks Murdock's!!

Good service interesting menu selections just remember this is a tourist area and prices are a little high on some things

Had the Pulled Pork Sundae-unexpected, quite different, and very tasty. A large portion as well, filling.

A very healthy not healthy afternoon, no lunch, snack! I prefer fried spears to chips, these were the best fried pickle chips I’ve ever had. The Cajun Mac & Cheese was better than anything I can make at home. Service Emilia, class server. Took it to 5-stars.

Cocoa Village Craft Fair
The Lobster and Artichoke Dip and the Fried Artichokes were sooo good. They are still hanging in there, great food as usual.

This is a nice eatery & pub. The atmosphere and service was superb. They were out of a few of there popular items when we went but enjoyed their chips, salsa & queso. The GOAT sandwich was excellent and the Southern Burger was huge & delicious.

Stopped in dinner time, 4th of July. Crazy right? No. They sat us immediately. Had cold drinks and hot food so fast we thought she had the wrong table! EVERYONE was friendly even if they weren't serving us directly. Happy atmosphere. Some of the best fries we've ever had, paired with the queso.

🌊Familiar Food Favorites with a Unique Twist🌊

The toughest part of eating at Murdock's is choosing what to order. I'm at the point of creating a spin-the-wheel-of-choice with the menu, so that it can pick for me. My party had a hard time deciding, ultimately selecting a variety of options--and agreeing that everything tasted excellent.

We opened with the giant, German pretzel appetizer with beer-cheese and spicy mustard dipping sauces. The pretzel arrived coated in crystals of salt--bready and flakey on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. Both dipping sauces provided nuance that paired well with the saltiness--and the mustard wasn't too spicy, just warm on the tongue.

My grilled cheese "The Goat" is among the best gourmet grilled cheeses I've ever savored. Two generous triangles of brie bread loaded with thick wedges of bacon, glazed onions, creamy cheese, and--surprisingly--raspberry jam... Everything meshed together like a delicious all-in-one breakfast. The jam provided a tart kick that paired excellently with the juicy bacon and zesty onions.

Of course, I had to round everything off with the PB&J Bread Pudding dessert, which arrived in a generous slab large enough to share with three people. Soft, supple, and not too rich, it's topped with ribbons of PB&J alongside half-melted chocolate chips. De-li-cious!

I'll definitely be returning to Murdock's for another round of unique menu offerings. Bring a friend for an especially good experience--and take time to soak in the decorum. There are a lot of fun designs and architectural elements to observe while waiting on your order.

The food here is fantastic! Great menu choices and friendly atmosphere. Good for kids during the day before the nightlife begins. Great beer selection!

Porky's Revenge is my favorite sandwich!

So enjoyed a Sunday brunch at Murdocks!! Treated us like family (in the best way!). The Lobster Benedict was fantastic and my Michelada superb! Such a great setting! EXCELLENT service on a morning when I know they were short-staffed. Planning to take the whole family back tonight!

Fantastic family run local restaurant! Food…5 star, atmosphere…eclectic, service…personable. Highly recommended! Going to be one of our local favorites!

Went for lunch. Great service even though there was only one server. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! Only problem was the menu had too many good choices for my first visit!
