Cooper Roofing was the most responsive and fast-acting of the 10+ companies I contacted after my roof was damaged from Hurricane-Ian. They provided a metal roof on my home in Cape Coral, FL and also my Father’s home in Sunrise, FL for an extremely, affordable price. They do not hesitate to answer our questions even post-install. HIGHLY recommend for anyone needing a new roof in Florida!

I am shocked to hear and see anything less than 5 stars for Cooper Roofing. I have been waiting almost a year since Hurricane Ian to find a roofer that I felt I could trust that also had the best pricing I have seen for a high quality metal roof with unbelievable warranty and wind mitigation certification at no extra cost. I lost everything in my house and it has been gutted down to the studs all due to a faulty roof. I just bought this house 7 months prior and it had been inspected and repaired by a well known local roofer in the area. Truth is it should have been replaced and none of this would have happened, but the roofer rather take the small repair job and push the sale through rather than tell the truth to the sellers that the roof should be replaced. So in my opinion they were either dishonest or incompetent.
So I understand what it is like to be the victim of unscrupulous overpriced contractors before and during the rebuild process but I am telling you straight up, Richard @ Cooper roofing is not one of them! Dealing with Cooper has been the very best experience I have had since starting my rebuild. Cooper did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. None better in my opinion. When Hurricane Ian hit, Cooper Roofing took my call, after hours and was very patient and helpful every step of the way. Mr. Cooper has consistently kept me updated on the processes and was helpful even when we needed to wait for the job to be done because of insurance issues. He has been available and responsive every step of the way and our finished roof was a quality job. We really appreciated the extra care and compassion during such a tough time!

Needed a new roof and called around for estimates. Richard Cooper came out personally the very next day, talked over the job and sent me an estimate a day later. Of the other 3 companies I contacted, only one gave me a quote. It was higher and took a week to receive.

I decided to go with Cooper on Sunday and he pulled the needed permits on Monday. Tuesday was raining so no work but Wednesday the crew started and worked for 10+ hours. They finished up on Thursday (again a 10 hour day), did a great job, and the clean up they did was outstanding (no nails or mess and only minimal debris left behind.

Overall Cooper was very responsive to everything I asked about and needed. Our home is roughly 3000 sq, ft. under roof so getting this job done in 2 days with quality workmanship was great.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Needed a 30x40' shed reroofed that was leaking and badly overdue for about 5 years. Called Richard and he picked up immediately and I described my situation. I was initially wanting to go "cheap" since it was after all a shed, however he explained that he does not go that route due to the headaches so I questioned him a little bit more about the higher price. He totally justified all of it by pulling the proper permits, using higher quality ice/water barrier and algaecide (Scotch-guard) shingles, etc. This was all within about an hour of having an instant quote that I could verify everything. After signing contract which was effortless due to it being electronic, he advised me that materials would be (and was) delivered within 3 business days!
Project commencement and completion: I was initially very stressed because of a different, previous construction project with no supervision that had gone very badly. However, Richard was on site the morning of and relieved my fears by demonstrating how they were going to replace decking, ridge-cap ventilation/installation, nail patterns for code/insurance, etc. His workers were top-notch and very attentive to detail, barely a nail was left around the shed and even the neighbors commented how nice it looked--all done within one day.
I waited to write this review as it does no good "if it ain't dry". After several significant rain events to include a tropical system in April 2023, the shed is bone dry.
I sleep good knowing that my tools and valuable items are protected from the elements and the slightly higher marginal price was well worth it (which may even be debatable).
If you want a quality, professionally managed roof replacement, I highly doubt you will be disappointed by Richard. He's one to put in your contacts and I will certainly be calling in him in the future for other projects.
Oh, and I am still receiving quotes from other contractors even after the time it took him to complete the entire project!!

Exemplary workmanship and service. The hard working crew spent nine (9) work days re-roofing my residence and detached RV bldg. The end product was done with professional expertise, especially when one considers multiple roof lines and steep pitch. Continuous clean up sweeps around the premises ensured no debris was left on the ground or behind. After pondering their initial, timely reply for a competitive job estimate, on to their fast, on site products delivery and re-roofing start, and the results realized upon completion, a five star plus ( 5*+) rating is wholeheartedly warranted and completely justified.

When I told him I needed a bid immediately he ran out to the unit the next day to price the job. Unfortunately, we ended up using the property management company to handle what they could but we called him back to see if he could help us with the countertops and he said he would’ve been able to but he wanted to do the whole job but he knew the predicament we were in and he referred us out to someone who strictly deals with countertops. I highly recommend him as very professional and very prompt and an all-around nice guy. He does offer a third-party financing Which my husband chose to decline but I think it is a great idea!

Excellent work & on time. Jodi in the office was responsive & Larry went out of the way to make it a good experience. Installers cleaned up the debris & were very courteous. Also the owner took the time to call personally to check on our satisfaction.

I work for Cooper Roofing and love the fact that Richard goes above and beyond on installation..exceeds the code on what needs to be done to make a roof withstand extreme winds ..setting the stage on what should be done in the first place...

Are you aware there are enhanced penalties for trying this kind of thing on a senior citizen? The owner of this home is 88. I am going to contact the Florida Attorney General - see what they think.

This Roofing Contractor can't be trusted. He will say one thing and do something else. He is a great scammer. Be warned!
