It was a really delicious hamburger, and the steak fries were terrific too.

This restaurant came thru for me at one of the worst times in my life. My mother passed away in January 2024 and I had to make arrangements for her service and the repast.
I called a few restaurants to order items for the repast and Eric was amazing.
He not only gave me a reasonable price but also arranged for a pick up time before the restaurant would be open.
I am so appreciative of him and the staff there. They were the light I needed during a difficult time.
Oh and the chicken was so darn good and fresh!!

This was a very good decision for us to try , they are awesome people working there and the food was great. Check out the fried green tomatoes.

Never been to a better restaurant it’s actually insane; the service is top notch and the food was out of this world. Authentic and delicious. If I could give it a superstar rating I would.

It's been a long time since I had Pofolks so I had the taste for some their food. I ordered the country fried steak and when say it was butter man let me tell you. The country fried steak was so tender you cut it with a plastic spoon. Along with that I ordered mash potatoes and mac and cheese and they both was out of this world good. I was so full when I left I had to get a to go box. It was well worth the visit and the waitress was so nice and she made sure that we didn't want for anything she made sure we were taken care of. Overall it was a great meal and great service to match I will be back.

Now this place has a little bit of it all , very down home and country great service. The signs were gone from the last storm, looked like to me. Straight across from the waffle house.

Country fried steak lunch was delicious! Plenty of food. Our waitress forgot about us though! I ran out of water & had to ask someone for jelly for my biscuit. I had to go to the counter to pay which wasn’t a problem but observed my waitress laughing & carrying on in the back before I left. Otherwise it was great!

It had probably been at least 5 years since I had come back to Panama City to eat at this Po Folks. The food was as good as it has always been and you know you get that real Hometown feel when one of the managers recognized you as a regular from almost 5 years ago. That pretty much shows commitment to its customers and the dining experience as a whole

Good food though. The macaroni and cheese was a little watery for my taste. I think it used to be better in the past

The food was really good. I had the two piece chicken plate. I didn't really care for the cornbread. The parking is terrible also.

I forgot to take a picture of my food before I started but that's because everything is delicious. PO Folks in Callaway is THE ONLY place we will go for fried chicken. It never fails to be the best fried chicken in Bay County. Country style decor which is what you would expect at PO Folks, always clean. We are always greeted by a friendly group. I usually order the Nekkid Chicken, a breast which I order blackened, and every time it is cooked perfectly. My husband orders the fried chicken and I can't say this enough, it is the best in Bay County. The greens are delicious, always a must. Our wait for food is typically minimal. I'm so glad they were able to stay open after Hurricane Michael because I don't know what I'd do if they weren't in Callaway anymore!

Mike was a fabulous server.. it got slammed after we arrived but he did great trying to keep up with all his tables.

Everything was surprisingly delicious! Fried mushrooms and hush puppies were delicious! Also. The grilled, fish, cabbage, green beans and rice were spot on! Our waitress, Angela was the sweetest and very attentive!

Kind of like home cooking or as close as you can get commercially. My granddaughter loves the dumplings to me They taste like they should be served in a hospital but hey she likes them. Other notables that I have tried the fried chicken country, fried steak and catfish we’re decent.

Huge food propositions for a great price..The whole shebang salad was wonderful and so was the shrimp 🍤 and grits..
