Courtyard by Marriott Panama City

Recently renovated interior - lobby and rooms. The front desk was polite, respectful of my room assignment request, and helpful with answering my questions about the local amenities. I was happy to see that this is now a dog friendly hotel.

It was very nice,comfortable,not a vacation,my sister passed away,we traveled from Ringgold,Ga to attend funeral.thankyou ,it helped comfortable bed helped.

I’m a true critic to my word in a positive outlook. All reviews matter; responses back from the company matters. Cleanliness is my top priority. I won’t sleep just anywhere while on the road lesson learned. I booked and paid for our reservation upfront, read all stipulations choosing to opt out of payment protection. My risk to take however, my gut feeling said you won’t be disappointed. Husband and I will be driving six hours to visit family. We arrived around 11:30pm ready for a shower and to get some needed sleep. Staff gave off good vibes prompted, courtesy and professionalism. There was an additional $20 deposit fee required upon check in with full refund. I must have missed that part a surprise to me. My mindset for sole purpose was what if a person has a quiet wild night shhhhh.LOL. A lil extra cleanup for housekeeping. What if any accidents happen we are human (acceptable to me.) Lobby view was clean nicely put together their stone backdrop setup reminds me of my living room. I liked the option of an in-house restaurant to your immediate right, not a lot of hotels have that feature. The air was crisp feelings of oohhh yeah good choice. Room meet my pet peeves with cleanliness! The air in room fresh. Bed was soft, all linens was clean, pillows soft, microwave, fridge, bathroom all clean I checked. Glass wear next to ice bucket hey no cups fancy my husband chuckled. What if a glass breaks $20 to cover expenses sure thing. Shower was clean, hot and refreshing made for us tall individuals such as us. ALL PASS….Decor in room nicely done. It didn’t bother us that they are currently doing renovations staff said so. An sincere apology letter in room for why improvements for guests. I didn’t explore the pool or anywhere else within facility, quiet quarters felt safe if alone, I slept like a rock. Various shopping stores and restaurants near by either you can walk or drive. This will be my choice of stay every time I visit, plus additional perks to join club.
I have one suggestion bigger TV possibly mount on wall to avoid children knocking over.

The staff was patient and very helpful, the ladies at the coffee bar and front desk were very nice. Hotel is clean, pool and tub were clean. Overall a nice experience.

Stayed here 10/2023. Location is great,on 23rd St in Panama City, lots of restaurants close by, the area is safe and well-lit, plenty of parking, easy ingress/egress from the parking lot. The lobby is very nice and was spotless, rooms were very clean, good quality linens and towels, queen beds are comfortable, and the staff was very polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

What’s not to like about this place? There is shopping that is only a couple of blocks away, numerous restaurants that are less than a five minute drive. Plus, the scenery is beautiful, out in front are lovely palm trees everywhere and a fantastic pool. The rooms are really nice, and the bed is extremely comfortable. This has all the makings of a return trip.

I'm a big fan of Marriott hotels for many reasons, and this location did not disappoint. The hotel is centrally located to shopping and restaurants. My stay was during a quiet week, so I had little interaction with other guests. I was provided a room with a balcony on the 3rd floor, and it was so nice to be able to leave the sliding glass door open and feel the cool breeze come in as I sat at the desk doing my work. The employees were so nice and accommodating. Theresa who works at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful when assigning me a room. My room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. They do have a Bistro downstairs where you can grab your favorite Starbucks coffee on the way out in the morning. Would definitely stay at this location in the future.

Had a good experience. Marriot Brand is usually pretty good. Nice clean room, no complaints there. Be advised they dont offer free breakfast but there is a Starbucks there to purchase food. A couple of things I thought were odd and this could be just a brand thing, but no soap dish and only 2 towels on a double queen room. AC worked well in the room we were in which always a plus. But overall a great 2 night stay and very centrally located for where I needed to be for work.

Very nice rooms best shampoo conditioner and shower wash. They have a bistro with Starbucks coffee of course you will have to pay for though .. has a very nice pool and lounge chairs with a separate hot tub. Great customer service and friendly.. also they have a great snack selection in the market area

Great stay,except for being accused of stealing a hair dry from the cleaning lady cause she said she remembers seeing it but I guess her memory is so awesome to remember seeing one in my room in a hotel with some many rooms, she has the wrong job if she can can do that. But besides that it's a nice place

We came here seeking shelter from Hurricane Ida, and we wound up enjoying our stay for its own sake because the hotel was lovely. Clean, sweet-smelling rooms, well-appointed with a microwave and refrigerator, and in our king bedroom we had enough space for a sitting area. Staff was also friendly and accommodating. I was delighted with what we found, and it was good to have a home away from home for a little while. Deeply appreciative, and I look forward to coming back and staying under happier circumstances soon!

Our stay was great! Candice and Rochelle are courteous, warm, professional, and super accommodating. They wowed us with kindness. Sure they are paid to be hospitable but they are genuine awesome ladies. No matter what they do it's in excellence, Marriot is just fortunate enough to have them represent their brand . The room was clean, smelled fresh and had a balcony. It was good to have a fridge and microwave for the few leftovers we had. Pool was nice and there were plenty of clean open spaces to relax and not feel crowded. Did I mention the staff was great! The gentleman and lady in attendance overnight were to notch.
Next time chocolates and wine for everyone! Thank you for all you do! Your care is truly appreciated.

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable beds! The staff there are all very professional. Housekeeping Abby is a JOY! Not only did she check to make sure I didn't need anything, she kept me supplied with plenty of cups and coffee also towels and hand towels. I opted out of room cleaning daily so her attention to detail and courteousness was very appreciated! Check in and check out smooth process, don't forget to have enough to cover incidentals. If anything, I wish they would change to free breakfast. There are alot of hotels in that area that have competitive rates and free breakfast. Paying $10 for breakfast after I've already paid $100 for the room was disappointing. When I booked online, I thought I chose the rate with the breakfast, but when I checked in I was informed that it was a different higher rate to include breakfast so I just went to Cracker Barrel no biggie. Nice, quiet area, easy parking, very nice hotel, beautiful lobby and outdoor pool area! Loved the balcony room just wish it had lawn chairs as well. I'd stay here again for sure!

Great courtious staff clean rooms and love the starbucks.

Theresa, Assistant General Manager, and Donna, cafe chef, provided excellent service, as did the GM at Townplace next door when I had to be rebooked at the Courtyard. Clean, quiet, and comfortable stay, with a well cooked and tasty hot breakfast.

Had a great time and service was excellent. Took my youngest daughter on a work road trip. One of the best places to stay. Very clean.

Stayed for only 1 night because I had take a flight out of Panama City. Hotel was super clean, comfy bed, and friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from.

Went into the Courtyard today to see about their availability and prices. While there Candice was absolutely AMAZING. She answered ALL of our questions and personally showed us the room options. I definitely without a doubt recommend this hotel and Ms. Candice!! Thank you so much ma’am ☺

Candice, Sophia, and a couple other receptionists there at the hotel were VERY kind, sweet, and took care of my every need as a bus driver while I was there! Especially Candice...her service was over-the-top awesome! Thank you for a wonderful week in panama city! Loved it!

Staff was excellent rooms very clean would highly recommend staying here
