TownePlace Suites by Marriott Panama City

This TownePlace Suites is excellent! It's been awhile since I could stay at one. But this was truly a home away from home with all the comforts. Service and breakfast were excellent as well. I only wish the pool was indoor. It was a stormy time to visit. So, couldn't use the pool.

ATTENTION I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS#1……..Maricel Woodall (Management) Leona Jessie (Front Desk) All I have to say is that CUSTOMER SERVICE is everything. Even know it was obstacles that was out of control concerning hotel staff many blame those issues on the hotel. For example the “elevator” that is no reflection on the staff. How do they control a stopped up toilet or elevator? Many guests demand those issues and place them on the staff. Now my experience as a former front desk staff member. I know how stressful that some things are a act of nature, the toilet gets stopped up or the guest next door plays there music loud, the guest has 4 barking dogs all night. Communication is the key and respect works at high demands. Please understand that we all want respect and we should communicate respectfully if we have issues as guest. That’s what I did and this staff communicated professionally to ALL demands. Miss. Marvell Woodall is as beautiful as she looks and she went to her highest level to fix all issues and make my stay fair. She was very professional, I felt as if I knew her upon arrival she was very gracefully beautiful and accepting. After my experiences with the hotel the morning staff Miss. Leona was exceptionally great as well. May I say Marriot you have had the best of luck picking your staff to represent your hotel. They were all graceful and considerate and on my particular stay the elevator was out of order and we were handicapped. Now just image that??? This hotel made it right!!! Every issue we had the front desk staff was professional. Now
what about all those negative reviews you may have read??? But my stay the front desk staff as compassionate, considerate, caring, and understanding. They knew my best friend was handicapped and adjusted to his needs as well as my own, now wasn’t that most important? The staff accommodated all my needs during this time need. & Leona Jassop I am for what is fair and truthful. At the end of the day I read others reviews, but no one focused on handicapped needs or views. At the same Mrs. Marciel Woodall and Lenora and the end of the day focused on communication and results. This it’s my profession, I also think about judging each hotel and restaurant. I often ask myself would I have done??? This reflection was based on my family and what I expect from customer service and respect. Todays review reflects the wonderful young ladies I mentioned. Marriot can trust that I will not lead them wrong with my reviews it reflects my family and others. The review is based on me spending my money and time each property. At the end of the day all issues side. I would and will stay at this property again hands down, due to the customer service. Always remember that nothings perfect and communication is the key. I know for a fact Mrs. Maricel Woodall would professionally handle their customer issues to satisfy each and every customer. I feel that they take their job seriously and would not jeopardize their behavior based on the professionalism of Marriot’s criteria.

Just needed a place during a 2-day business trip. Friendly staff, Very comfortable bed, room had an efficient kitchenette. I was pleasantly surprised.

Not a shabby location
Food within walking distance for the consumers of the beer
I had two different rooms here on two different days due to a work related issue
Not mad at either of the rooms
The rooms were extremely clean
Bathrooms were perfect
Water pressure was on point
The staff was friendly and very helpful when it came to the area
You will not be near the beach or that crowd
Mainly people working in the area.

Stayed here for one night and generally have low expectations when traveling with our dogs for hotels but we were pleasantly surprised at this TownePlace Suites. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were set up with everything we needed and sheets for the pull out couch were provided upon request. Carpets could use some deep cleaning, but other than that there are no complaints from my family. For the price, we would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay with a big family. Our queen suite had two bedrooms, a living room with a fold out couch bed, and nice kitchen. Great breakfast, beautiful pool, and friendly staff! Maricel, the manager, was excellent!

we enjoyed our stay in the place. the employees are so nice and respectful ., particularly Maricel Woodall. she is very nice and respectful .

We were here for quite some time (almost 4 months). Although the hotel was a little dated and we could have gone somewhere else, we stayed because the staff here were so kind. We were treated like family. The manager, Scott, was amazing and got us anything we needed. The housekeepers were like gifts from God going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Being able to grill outside by the pool was great. Their maintenance men work so hard keeping all these areas nice. The beds themselves were comfortable. I never saw a single bug anywhere. The only thing I really didn't like was the color of the walls (it's like a mustard-type color). I know Scott is working hard on the updates. I look forward to these changes.

Great breakfast with clean comfy beds. Staff members are very nice too.

My family and I stayed at the Towne place suites. We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean rooms and the staff was awesome. The lobby and breakfast area's where also very clean. Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommend staying here. Also the price for the room was very reasonable.

We normally stay at a beachfront hotel, but last time we were kept up all night from the non-stop helicopter rides. This is close enough to everything you want to do and far enough away that you would never know that pier park is across the street! Very safe area and wonderful free breakfast. We stayed in a king room and it was small-ish but had everything that you would ever need (except a hairdryer). It has a beautiful bathroom, mini kitchenette with pots and pans included, and super soft bed. The strip is about a 5 minute drive with little to no issue finding parking.

Rooms were very clean and glad it had stove top since I am vegan. Publix wad close and it was awesome. When I'm back in the area I will be back. Front desk was very helpful when I arrived.

I have been coming and staying here quite often. Clean rooms. Staff are friendly, go extra miles to make the stay convenient.

Great hotel, pillows, service, breakfast. It was very clean. Due to covid some things are different for sure. But they will help you get anything you need. Kitchen is a great place to make a meal

The customer service was great. I cant complain at all. Especially when the front desk remembers your name. The front desk clerk Naomi is the best. She seems to be on top of things. Overall a great staff. The place is taken care of well. Very clean and relaxing. Keep up the good work.

After driving all day to get to this hotel we were told the our points program cancelled our reservation. Needless to say I was not impressed and very frustrated. Jordan at the front desk was so patient and understanding even though I was being a jerk. He figured it out and got us set up, he dealt with our points program for us, and generally was absolutely wonderful to deal with, all while training a new employee. The rooms are quite nice here and the hotel is very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is clean and nice and with employees like Jordan you can rest assured that you will be taken care of. If management reads this I think you should really consider giving him a raise. It is employees like him that will keep guests returning to this hotel.

Pet friendly. Good location. Bed was comfortable. Room was big with dish washer, microwave and fridge. Highly recommend.

Rooms seem like they were recently updated, they were very nice & clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast selection was hearty & delicious.
