Guys I'm a little shocked to see all the reviews. I guess I got the best room with the friendliest staff on the best day of the year. I've been out this way for work and have been on and out of motel rooms for two weeks now, I wish I would have stayed here first! Nice room, great TV channels, extremely hot water. Everything was great as far as I could tell, Honestly.

My rating is for my experience. Definitely five stars 😀 Still have few days before checking out. Overall One of the best experience I've had. At first look apon arrival, thought should've stayed elsewhere. Once at check in, was greeted as if walked into a Hilton. Was greeted properly and felt extremely welcomed by the staff here. Will definitely stay again at this location and other locations that are corporate owned.
Room very clean and fresh smelling. Bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom just perfect.

Rooms were very clean smelled a bit of ols stale cigarettes nothing a few air fresheners didnt fix. Location handy to all amenities. Overall good stay for 5 days.

I was hesitant to try this place considering to negative reviews however I made a good choice by staying. The desk staff was genuinely caring, friendly, and provided excellent service. The room was clean, and accommodating. Beds slept well and the shower area cleaned to perfection. I've learned that negative reviews are written by negative people. If they got everything they wanted in a five star motel they would complain about how much it cost. For a two star motel it's a five star experience.

My wife and I stayed at this location almost three weeks while looking for an apartment to rent. We were treated like we were family and the entire staff made our stay a very enjoyable experience.

I have almost never had such good customer service and support from these ladies up front!

Rooms were nice, quiet area, water pressure was a little lacking like most hotels but Temps were great!

The rooms are clean and updated!! Linens are clean, soft and bright white!! The location is in the middle of a easy access to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Prices for the summer rates are outstanding.

What a relief to have a large clean room for such a great price! Quiet and peaceful. One time a neighbor got loud and immediately the front desk came out and told them to quite down. Recommend 💯

This place was a life saver. Great and convenient for pet owners! No pet fees and a great area to walk your pet. They even have doggy bags and a trash can for your convenience. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was also very nice. I didn't catch his name but the guy on staff last night was very accommodating and understanding. Thank you!

Surprisingly great experience. For a bargain chain my expectations were low. Well I was blown away. The room was clean, lobby was inviting and modern. The woman who checked us in was well informed and gave us very clear directions. The bed was amazing, had a very restful sleep. Great shower. And, I was also surprised that they had an extensive selection of channels on the TV. All of that being said, we got a GREAT rate. Keep up the good work Red Roof.

Beautiful rooms! Bright, clean, new and modern type setting style, huge flat screen T.V, along with SUPER comfy beds! When I plopped down to test it out, I didn't want to get back up! Very welcoming, cozy setting no matter what type/size of room you choose. The owner is a super friendly, good hearted person and the staff I've met were all really nice and helpful. One more perk that's sort of random, but I personally like at hotels, is that the sink/vanity area is separate from the actual bathroom/shower for privacy and extra space...then, finally getting to my other fav part of bathroom is the very subtle and substantial VENT FAN that automatically comes on when flipping the light switch. I personally think every hotel that doesn't use central air, should most def have a working vent fan in toilet/shower area for numerous, logical reasons, including simple all-around-comfort for their guests. Great quality standards that really shows, and lastly, each previous stay at this facility, I've had no complaints and I've seen NO flaws. Maybe one day they will somehow add a mini kitchenette area! Until then, there's a microwave, a decent size mini fridge, 1 cup coffee maker along with a digital safe that's very easy to use. Plenty of table/desk space. Highly recommended!

I usually dread stating at any hotel close to the beach in high season, but was pleasantly surprised. This Red Roof Inn has an excellent location, the rooms look as they are advertised, nicely updated, the road noise was close to non-existent l even though the hotel is close to major roads, the room was clean, and the staff highly professional. My stay was relaxing, got a good night sleep and felt safe. Kudos to the management/staff at this location!

Looks like they recently updated The rooms. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was fantastic. Loved the lady at the front desk and the housekeepers were so sweet and helpful. I'll stay again when I'm in the area.

I stayed here with my family this pass Easter weekend and it was great. Very Clean and the staff are great and helpful. Will most likely return.

We called ahead because we were delayed and the staff were so courteous and assured us that our reservations were confirmed. Whew! When we finally arrived looking like refugees the staff made sure we had a ground floor room that wasn't a three day trek from the lobby. Our stay is off to a great start. Oh, and one more thing. We especially thank you for so thoughtfully putting a grab bar in the tub. Especially for those of us who are 'more mature' but not yet seniors. Anything that helps us avoid broken bones is most welcome.

Fastest check in time ever. Clean room nice layout. Very quiet place seems to be a good neighborhood. Love the 11 am check out time, we actually got some rest. Several options near by for food and room service is available.

The hotel is definitely a great value. Nice area quiet location. Its no 5 star resort but I would most definitely stay here again. Clean and comfortable the beds are a little small but everything else was perfect for our needs.

After 3 weeks on the road in the car traveling from Maryland to Florida and back, I can unreservedly state this was the best, even better than Holiday Inns and Suites at three times the price! Lots of room, plenty of outlets and connections for our multiple electronics, lots of pillows on our king size bed, clean, and comfortable chairs. The only thing missing was a freezer in the refrigerator.
