Hilton Garden Inn Chesapeake/Greenbrier

Staff very friendly. They checked in with me each day and made sure everything was perfect and going well. I had my 85 yr. old aunt with me who needed special services and everything was done to help her out as well. The location is amazing. There are so many restaurants, shops and other amenities very close by and it is close to the interstate. I would totally stay there again.

The front desk associate was very polite. Check in was easy since I booked online and the location was good because everything you need is in the area. Beside the dated furniture the room (king bed) was spacious.

My family and I have been staying here for almost a week now and we are absolutely delighted with our stay. The WHOLE staff is friendly and professional from the front desk, house keeping, maintenance, every staff member I have encountered had made my family and I feel welcomed! The room we've been staying in is spacious, clean, and I work remotely and have had an excellent wifi connection. I have two kids as well who loved swimming in the indoor pool and I have been taking advantage of the fitness center which meets all my cardio needs! We have had to stay at several hotels while our apartment is being finished, and this hotel by far has been the best stay in Chesapeake! In addition, they have some amazing coffee in the morning that just starts the day perfectly. Look no further and stay at this Hilton.

As someone who travels 47 weeks a year and stays at Marriott and hiltons….. I have NEVER BEEN more impressed by a hotel manager than Shawna at the front desk. My company will be using this hotel every time we’re in this area solely on how great she makes guest feel.

My wife and I had an issue with our room upon check in. When I was making my way to the front desk to resolve the issue, Diane (The Housekeeping Coordinator) asked me how I liked the room. When I explained my concern and she quickly resolved the issue by getting us another room. I appreciate the time she took to make sure we were satisfied! Great Customer Service!

We booked this room almost last minute. We were in town for a graduation. Loved breakfast food but they need a better system of getting food to you. They make omelets. But right now you walk up to a buffet and tell the guy what you want and he brings it to your table along with your omelet. If you only want cold food you can get that on the spot. There is also a self serve Waffle station too. Other than this we liked it. Hot tub was great but small. Pool and hot tub is indoor.

Stayed here April 26 - 29, 2017.Excellent Service - Lori Santiago and her staff are the best ! Rooms are very clean. Staff was extremely attentive. Food was outstanding. Can not say enough about this hotel. Just spent 3 nights there with a group, we had 15 + rooms and everyone was very happy. They had nothing but great things to say about everything the hotel had to offer. Breakfast cook was the best, she handle our group of 36 people every morning plus other hotel guest without making us wait for long periods of time. One of my best hotel stays ever.

Excellent hotel on the higher end of mid-range. Stayed one night (~$100) in late April 2021 with a friend for a birding trip around the Dismal Swamp area of southern Chesapeake, which was only about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. The staff we encountered were very friendly, the room was very clean, and the whole place smelled amazing. Breakfast was just a few "grab-and-go" items, but that was because of restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We would definitely stay here again!

It is always a pleasure staying here at HGI Chesapeake and one big reason is the staff. They are proactive to make sure all of your needs are met and they listen to your requests and do everything in their power to make it so. Yes, everyone expects a clean comfortable room but it's the little things that set this establishment above most others. As usual, I will happily return. A big shout out to those that made my stay comfortable and smooth sailing this time: Raeann, Nicola and Shawna. You ladies ROCK!

Hilton garden is a beautiful hotel, the room we had is large and spacious. We have one with a bedroom separate from the living room. This provides mood them enough space for my toddler twins to run around. The beds were comfortable, and soft. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is my second or third time staying here. And I will definitely stay here again. The hotel has a breakfast but we didn't it here. We went to a restaurant named citrus which I also recommend. Overall I'll give this hotel. 5 out of 5 stars even though I haven't used all the ammenties like the pool and the gym the habe on-site

We only spent 1 night . Arrived at 11:30 pm and had to leave by 7:30 am. Check in was easy so we could get to our room for some much needed sleep.
I had a job interview in the morning so had to get an early start. The wife and kids grabbed some breakfast on the way out. Was perfect for us.

Excellent and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were dated, but they were clean and well appointed. We will be back. We are Hilton diamond too. We enjoyed our stay.

Problem with room door. Would not open. Was given ab upgraded eoom un lieu of original at no extra charge. Lady on duty was very helpful and courteous Give her 5 stars

Very impressed with the front desk staff! I came in from a very long drive and they or very accommodating. The room was nice and clean and comfortable and the place was quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent place. Clean, excellent service. The breakfast is great—the ladies who run it are fantastic (Annette and Jackie). Only downside is you have to stay 7 days before they clean your room. But, I highly recommend.

Been staying here almost monthly since they opened a dozen or so years ago. Staff--all the staff--has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and always clean. I stay here because I'm visiting family, who have come to know well the staff and the pool and hot tub.

Upon arrival we were greeted with such a warm welcome that lasted throughout the duration of our stay! The lobby was beautifully and festively decorated for the holiday season and even had a fire burning in the fireplace. The check-in process was enjoyable as well as efficient. We highly reccomend the HILTON HONORS LOYALTY PROGRAM. We were then presented with a little gift bag of appreciation and told my husband had been chosen to be "Guest of the Day"! His name was displayed on the front desk for everyone to see and we received some awesome special offers! We immediately felt confident in our choice to stay at this hotel. The houskeeping staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. Our room was immaculate, the king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the blanket/ duvet were so warm as well as freshly laundered. The bathroom was extremely clean and stocked with extra towels that we had requested. The room service was fast and delicious! The indoor pool/ hot tub area was delightful and the "Gym/exercise" facility had a wide variety of machines and was also spacious. If i could give the Hilton Garden Inn in Chesapeake 10 stars I would! We Will be staying here every single time we come down to visit family which is about once every 2-3 months, If not more! I will be reccomending this hotel to anyone who's travelling to this area. Special shout of to Nikia from the front desk, she is an absolutely wonderful woman who made our stay feel as if we were staying with family!

This hotel was freaking amazing. The staff was so incredibly wonderful and nice! We inquired about a room with a Whirlpool and they immediately upgraded us for free!! It's been nothing but incredible service and a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend!!!!

The room was clean and the bed most comfortable. The service was great as well. All in all, a wonderful stay!

The hotel was in a very accessible area and was very safe. Breakfast was good, but service was a tad slow during my stay. Both the fitness center and pool are in great shape and the rooms are very spacious.
