Folsom Pharmacy is easy.... Roseville that's another story🫤 I think the Folsom Pharmacy is like anywhere else..lines...plan on an hour... don't show up if you are in a rush that's your problem not theirs...I don't see them just taking their time...they seem to know their job and get it done..🤷

I’ve done a review before, so I hope this isn’t redundant; I highly recommend and appreciate Kaiser as a great health provider with top notch doctors, specialists, medical assistants, and office personnel. Their date of arts equipment and facilities is top notch and they provide a full-scope of excellent care for the entire body. Presently, I’m thoroughly happy with my membership, nor would I go elsewhere for care.

I have been going to Folsom Kaiser Pharmacy since 2008 and I have always had an amazing experience. I appreciate everyone there! KUDOs to the team, they work so hard.

First time using this location's pharmacy. My order was ready when I arrived except for one over-the-counter medicine, which was out of stock. I arrived at 9:30am on a Tuesday and the line was very short, and moved fast. Nice facility, easy location & access; no problem finding parking. Pharmacist & counter staff are nice & helpful.

People give this place too much flack. The worker do the best they can, it's always busy, yes. I personally don't mind the wait if I get convenience. Besides, going to another pharmacy out of network can be brutal.

Pharmacy line can be long, but it moves quickly. They are in need of an update to their app. There seems to be a disconnect between information in text notifications and the app. It would be much easier to let us know the exact information consistently across all modalities, particularly to know what is ready for pick up, so calling isn’t necessary to clear up any confusion, or no one stands in the wrong line, as another reviewer mentioned.

Today the check in staff was so rude...why are you yelling at me, "What are you here for?!?" when I tell you that I don't know the name of the prescription. The rest of the encounter didn't go well either as she continued to have an attitude and with every word seem like she wanted to snap my head off. I left the counter feeling like I had done something wrong because I didn't know what the prescription name was.

It comes down to this...we are all here picking up prescriptions for ourselves or our loved ones, and most likely people aren't feeling very well... It wouldn't hurt to be kind and not act like the people you are supposed to be helping are a burden. If you hate your job find something that sparks joy for you instead of being miserable.

That being said, the pick up window staff and the pharmacist were helpful and very pleasant. Maybe they can help train her on her customer service or remind her the customers are not doctors and may be picking up for someone else so they may not know exactly "What they are there for!!!"

If only it were possible to leave zero stars. I’ll just copy and paste the text I sent my husband. “Spending another hour at Kaiser pharmacy this afternoon after spending a good chunk of time here on Monday
and this morning. Can’t wait to wait in the pick up line after I’ve waited for the prescription to be filled after I waited for 45 minutes this morning for them to tell me they don’t have the medicine but call later only to find out they had the medicine the whole flipping time, but you have to specifically ask for the brand name when they are out of the generic because they won’t offer that information. It’s cool. I like picking up and spreading germs. Yay for Kaiser pharmacy vibes. Cough, cough, sneeze, sneeze. They haven’t technically confirmed they can fill it with the name brand either, the call center said they had it, so I may be wasting even more time next week. Hope I’m painting a good picture of what I have to go through every other month. I typically don’t tell you about this, but now you know why I get crazy about picking up the medication when it’s actually filled and available.” Updated: they canceled the prescription without telling me after I sat there for an hour and 20 minutes, put it in again after I checked to see what was up, then told me 15 minutes later they won’t take coupons and the cost of the name brand was astronomical. They couldn’t have told me that the second I got there and asked for it or the call center couldn’t have told me? I filled it just so I wouldn’t have to go back and waste more precious time. I'm sick and should have been in bed. Instead I got to experience Kaiser’s gross incompetence once again!!!!!! Such.gross.incompetence. I wish I could post a gif of someone screaming to give a visual for how I feel. If you don’t have high blood pressure yet, I definitely recommend dealing with Kaiser. They’ll help get it right on up there. Update: They reached out to inquire about my experience in order to improve customer experience so I’m changing from a 1 to a 3. I’m crossing my fingers hoping they implement some improvements.

Pharmacy lines are always LONG with minimal staff. Web site says they identify at 7am but they are closed until 8am..

I dealt with and listened to other customers deal with brisk and at times outright rude staff. The process of checking in and which line you’re supposed to wait in is unclear-especially if you’re new to Kaiser. My nurse, doctor, and online app offered no explanation of this process so I unsurprisingly stood in the wrong line when I went to get my prescription for the first time. The pharmacist helping me was unnecessarily rude, and didn’t want to explain to me the process so I’d know what to do in the future. While I stood in another line and waited another 30 mins I listened to at least a dozen people make the same mistake. Kaiser needs to make this process much clearer and train its staff to be more understanding in dealing with this confusion.

Always busy. Kaiser lacks pharmacy locations and they make you get them filled through them solely. They also lack medical facilities in the Sacramento region. There are few urgent care locations and your are force to go to the ER for less serious illnesses. Definitely will be leaving Kaiser during open enrollment.
