My experience with Semper Fly Rods was nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure I received the rod ASAP despite the challenges with the mail service we're all experiencing. After the rod was declared lost in the mail, I received a new one via UPS within just a few days. The new Ares 2021 9ft 5wt rod was carefully packaged and arrived in excellent condition. Right out of the box it was abundantly clear this was made with pride and extremely high quality craftsmanship. Just what you would expect. Could not be happier with this purchase for my friend and active duty USMC service member. Thank you!

I was lucky enough to find Semper Fly Rods as a rod maker for a very special project. Tony was willing to help me out and turn my ideas into a beautiful memorial rod made to honor a nephew that had passed away at just 4 years of age. Tony put blood, sweat and tears into a magnificent piece of art created as a gift to my brother to honor the life of little Jer Bear. I was blown away by the passion, time and emotion that Tony put into this rod for a family and a boy that he had never met. Tony brought my ideas to life and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Tony for any custom rod needs. No amount of thank you’s would express my appreciation for his quality work and willingness to take on this project.

In the year I’ve used Tony’s handmade rods I have been very impressed. I’ve fished everything from the smallest of flies on the San Juan to streamers on my home waters. This past weekend I was honored to be invited to a Veteran Appreciation Fly Fishing Weekend hosted by the Clinton Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
