Ocean Vista Resort

My family and I recently stayed at the Ocean Vista Resort. This was our first time staying here. We were looking for a room to stay the night as we live about a 3-4 hours drive from here. The hotel manager Pam, was very accommodating and easy to work with. Our room on the 2nd floor was very clean, had an updated bathroom, kitchen with full size refrigerator and a great working a/c unit. We had access to the beach along with lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels supplied by the resort which I was not aware of when I booked our room, but was a pleasant surprise. The grounds were well maintained with tables and chairs on the lower level. The staff was very friendly.

We were only a 10 minute drive to Montauk by car and there were many options nearby for a bite to eat. (The Lobster Roll is just before this place and always a favorite stop of ours especially for their lobster roll and lobster bisque).

We are looking forward to our next stay at Ocean Vista Resort.

Just got home from a stay at Ocean Vista. Check in was a breeze. The front desk was helpful with information about the area and very friendly. The room was so cozy and nicely decorated. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Everything was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was an adorable vanity area which I loved to get ready. It was well equipped with cooktops, a decent size fridge and freezer as well as a microwave and dishes. Beach access was convenient. The pool is indoors and heated which was nice on a rainy day. The sauna was also enjoyable. Perfect location, I attended an event at Stephen talkhouse which was a convenient 10 minute drive. Multiple places for food nearby. Wonderful stay would recommend to anyone and I will be back!

I very much enjoyed my time at the Ocean Vista.
My room was cozy and very clean.The beaches are gorgeous. The facility itself is very well maintained and very clean. Last but not least, the location is perfect. It is worth noting that it’s easier to have a car when staying here. Even though you’re only a short way from either town, the Uber rides will add up quickly. I look forward to my next stay here!!!

Walk to ocean. Indoor pool/sauna . Nice outdoor space for hanging out & bbq. Famous "lunch" eatery, plus another clam shack and pizza/dive bar (overpriced) walking distance. Montauk 15 minute drive. Rooms with kitchenette - beautiful decor. Wish pool had been warmer. They had a bar not in use - too bad.

Place was great. It’s old-fashioned and has this flair of old style American motel. Very no frills but looked after. Room was dated but clean. Staff was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. Price/quality wise was perfect and met my expectations for the price. Would not hesitate to come again and recommend to friends

Should be a 30 Star rather than a 3 Star stay. Personal and friendly hidden gem. Right on the beach minutes from town, bug parking lot, great cleaning crew, well groomed grounds and tennis court. Indoor pool which REALLY came in handy when it rained for few hours.

Ocean Vista Resort in the Hamptons is a total gem! The cozy atmosphere, paired with ocean access, makes it a lovely destination. I had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional service firsthand when I accidentally left behind a Proenza skirt. The property manager Pam’s support in promptly mailing it back to me was above and beyond. Their excellent communication and attention to detail truly stood out. A wonderful experience all around!

Can’t say enough good things about the Ocean Vista! My group split two rooms, 208 and 223, and they were perfect for our needs. Short walk to the beach and simple bbq area. Indoor pool and amenities (towel/umbrella/chaise beach chairs) were a great addition. Would recommend! Thanks for a great 4th!

The staff is amazing and very accommodating Great customer service.I am excited to go back again the room was immaculate. The location is amazing The beach is spectacular.

We cannot wish for a better place to stay, close to everything from high-end Hamptons to low profile local hidden treasures, but mostly it's right on the beach. We were walking barefooted from our room to the beach. Everything was much better than we expected. Pam is an amazing woman and extremely capable manager who runs the place like a five star hotel. We would definitely come back next year.

What a pleasant surprise! We booked a 2 queen room. Room had chairs and a table outside the door. Inside there were two queen beds, a small dining table and two chairs, dresser, shoe bench, lounge chair and a shoe bench. Kitchenette had a small refrigerator with small freezer, sink, toaster, microwave, two burner stove, coffee pot, and was fully stocked with everything from utensils, cups, pots, pans, cups, etc. Bathroom had a storage closet, small table, sink and stall shower. Split air conditioning units and dehumidifier as well. Everything was clean and neat. Rooms are spacious. Best part: walk out your door, up a boardwalk path and you're on a private beach. Lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas provided. It was perfect for our family!

Easy to find, ample parking and pleasant staff upon check in. Indoor pool, ice maker, Keurig in the office. Adirondack chairs and tables outside each room. Several outdoor tables with umbrellas perfect for eating dinner outside. We saw small charcoal grills and a ping pong table, too. It's not fancy but it was convenient, clean and everyone was friendly. Will absolutely be back.

Beautiful and right on the beach. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Loved the peacefulness at the resort with only a minutes drive to town. Rooms were kept very clean and having a kitchenette was very convenient. We love the ocean, but indoor pool is great for a rainy day. Our kind of vacation. Can’t wait to return. Many thanks to Pam, resort manager, for her fine hospitality.

We stayed the night at the very end of the season. The beach is a very short walk away. Each room is a little different but they all seam to be very nice as we saw two of them. The indoor pool we my favorite. The water was nice and warm. Down town Montauk is a short drive away. You can walk to a few restaurants near by. We had a very nice stay.

been here twice so far and BOTH times we have had great experiences. Rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, accommodating, has microwave, fridge, dishes etc. The beach is right out the walkway! The staff is helpful and kind. I definitely recommend it to others. A Hidden Secret, and close to all!

We loved our stay at Ocean Vista! The location was perfect - right on the beach and a short drive to our favorite things to do in both East Hampton and Montauk.

Our room was clean and spacious and the grounds were quiet and well appointed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

We'll definitely be back to stay again!

My fiancé and I stayed here for the weekend with another couple and we all really enjoyed our time here. The location is close to town but far enough so that the beach (that is just steps away from the room) isn’t super crowded. Across the street is a great bagel place / deli (Goldberg’s) and an awesome pizza place (BEST pizza). This hotel still has an authentic Montauk vibe, not the ritzy trendy overpriced vibe that seemingly every other place in this town has turned into. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly, and the location is tough to beat. Oh and there’s an indoor swimming pool, ping pong table room, tennis courts, and free lounge chairs on the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

The resort was clean and comfortable, with incredibly beautiful beach access. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the mini kitchen in the room, but having it was a pleasant surprise and would be very helpful for longer stays. Having the pool was also very convenient, since we didn't have to freeze in the ocean to swim.

My boyfriend and I just returned home from staying 3 nights at Ocean Vista. Everything from check-in to check-out was outstanding. We traveled from upstate NY and decided to stop and see some friends on our way down the island. I called the front desk to let them know we’d be late. We arrived around 10pm and had our keys waiting for us in the mailbox. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of our room and all of the extra amenities it offered. Because Friday was rainy, we decided to go into Montauk and do some shopping. Ocean Vista is in close proximity to the town, but far enough away that you’re not in the midst of all the crowds. Saturday we spent the day on the beach. Ocean Vista provides you with umbrellas and beach chairs. Having the private beach was a HUGE perk, especially as we’re still recovering from the pandemic. All around, we had an amazing trip and can’t wait to come and stay at Ocean Vista again. Thank you!!!!

Clean and basic resort but couldn't have been more perfect for a weekend getaway. So quiet!!! And peaceful and relaxing. We reserved the indoor pool all to ourselves. Beach was delightful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!!

Great stay right on the beach! We loved our little “studio” like room. It was so cozy, clean and made us feel right at home. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the downtown area and was perfect for exploring Montauk and Hamptons alike! Would recommend and will be returning in the future
