Clam Bar is so busy that we had to come back the next day early to give it a try. It's out with the hype? Absolutely! Not fancy and you feel like you're at the beach, but the seafood choices and service is very good. There are so many choices that I would advise coming multiple times to do the menu justice, but we did enjoy the fried choices by going with fried tuna bites, fried clam strips, and fried onion rings. The only exception was the Manhattan clam chowder. Parking is very challenging so I would recommend going early or going later otherwise the crowd is crazy. Def worth a trip.

Casual, outdoor roadside bistro serving fresh seafood dishes in paper trays. Everything we got was delicious, including the chowder, crab cake, calamari, mussels, tuna steak and sweet potato fries. Love their smoky chili mayo. The cooking and flavors are simple and highlight the ingredients. Service was friendly and overall great value for price!

Must have fresh oysters. Not fishy, very sweet ! Lobster roll the best! French fries was fresh as well and crispy. We also had crab cake. Small serving only 1 ,not too big but tasted good

Great service and super fast. Scott was super nice and watched our bikes at the front! Fish and chips were massive and nicely batterer. Clam chowder was good and lobster roll was well-balanced. Will certainly be back!

The perfect roadside americana clam bar. It’s what you want, when you think of a classic spot. Great beer options with amazing food specials. The servers were so unbelievable nice. When my friend said he had never had a clam before, the head chef overheard and brought out one of each, along with a mussel and an oyster, all to explain the difference and history of each. Then she gave us a free sample of little neck clams. Honestly, the place is so good that it’s somewhere I see making a tradition out of visiting once a summer.

Stopped here back in May on the way to Montauk and it did not disappoint. The fries were some of the best I’ve ever had and the lobster roll was delicious. It was my first lobster roll too!

Great experience! Had lunch at the counter on Friday afternoon headed back from Montauk.. The lobster roll and the tuna bites were amazing. The lobster roll was packed with lobster, one of the best portions I’ve seen. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and kind, wish I could remember tue two gentlemen’s names who helped us.. What a different experience than two weeks before eating at a.k.a. lunch across the street.. Highly recommend this place you won’t be disappointed !

We came here on our way to Montauk. It's a great place to stop by when you just want to have seafood already and you haven't made it to Montauk yet. They had outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and a welcoming staff. We ordered the Fried shrimp and fries to go and ate them in our car. The fried shrimp was well coated in breading and deep-fried bringing the shrimp crispy and golden brown. It tasted fresh as if they just got it straight out of the water, you know that salty, with a hint of the sea taste. The french fries paired with fried shrimp were a great combination. We would definitely come back if we ever make our way here again.

Some of the best seafood that I have had. The tuna steak on salad was done well. My wife loved her lobster roll and granddaughter loved the fish and chips. Wish we lived closer and could stop by more frequently

This is probably the best seafood restaurant in the area. Great prices, friendly staff and quick service. Make sure you try their New England style clam chowder, you won't regret it.. Note: Best cold lobster salad sandwich in Long Island(if they made it hot, it would probably be good too). 👍🏼

Wish we had eaten here sooner so we could have again before our trip ends! Precious and attentive waitress, clean outdoor seating, quick service. We were greeted by staff that wasn't assigned to us, and loved the friendly atmosphere that created. I ordered the lobster blt and fries (they were out of hot lobster rolls) and was very pleased. It tasted fresh and summer-y...and definitely big enough to share! My lunch partners split fish & chips and went on and on about how perfectly cooked and flavored they were. We two adults enjoyed a Montauk pilsner each to round out our meal. Our bill was approx $65 before tip. We will be back!

Amazing spot. The lobster rolls were both amazing (hot and cold). We also had clam strips, tuna bites, shrimp cocktail, kale salad, onion rings, and beer! Tuna bites had a bit more batter than we would like - you can skip those. Go for the lobbies, onion rings, sweet potato fries, corn. Ask for extra cole slaw. It was fiiiiiire!

Love stopping by the Clam Bar on the way into Montauk. Recommend avoiding prime lunch time on the weekend (12 pm-2 pm), as it can get quite crowded and parking can be difficult. Staff is always efficient and friendly no matter how busy they are.

Their lobster roll is consistently tasty with lots of fresh lobster and sold at market rate. Clam strips are a must try - perfectly fried with juicy clam inside. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Without a doubt the Best Lobster BLT sandwich that I have ever eaten. There was plenty of seats, you can either be seated for a table, sit at the counter top, or stand and eat at a table. Parking can be tough at time but, there is shoulder parking, DON'T PARK IN THE BIKE LANE. There are a variety of items to choose from the menu.

Yummy lobster roll! They have outside seating. The reason we went here was coz LUNCH was full! Made a u-turn, parked, and got seated right away. Service was quick for us, but not for our friends we we're seated next to us and sat at the same time (we were social distancing). I think it had to do with the difference in orders (they had fried stuff, we didnt).

Would go again for sure (after I've tried the other place and can compare the 2). Price not that bad for the area.

The best fish and chips(it was sweet potato chips) yet! Clam chowder was great too.
Tables are mostly full and staffs aren’t much helping with seating situation but worth a visit for food.

Great summertime lunch spot. Their onion rings are quite possibly the best onion rings I've ever tried, lobster roll and clam chowder are scrumptious as well. Great vibe here, very similar to a cape cod lunch shack. Angela is a queen who must be protected at all costs

We go here whenever we are in the area. Nice, comfortable roadside outdoor dining. Exceptional lobster roll and clam chowder on a really nice menu! The service is very good and the staff are friendly. The lobster roll is a bit pricey but worth every penny!

Delicious Fish ‘Wich Sandwich with french fries. The fish was fried flounder which was cooked perfectly and was very fresh. Nice lemonade. I opted to get there when they opened at 11:30am for an early lunch before bike riding!!

Finally made it here. Loved the outdoor casual vibe. Servers were all chill and cool. Had a delicious lobster roll and fries, along with a Corona. Place was full bit still very comfortable. Caught some sun and people watched while waiting for my food which came out so quickly. Have to get some clams next time.
