StraightEdge Plumbing does exceptional work. I just had them replace my tankless water heater. Jonathan responded to my request immediately and was at my house the next morning to see what I wanted to replace. He gave me an estimate which was very competitive with other vendors. He and his crew came the other day to take out my old system and installed the new system. They started at 8am and was done by 11am. Very professional, went about their business, answered my questions and there was no disruption to our household.
I did have a problem which came up later that night, the pilot light in my boiler was out and I couldn’t get it relit. I emailed Jonathan and he responded and came by first thing this morning and fixed the problem. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than trying to relight the pilot but it was fixed. It isn’t often that you can directly contact the owner of the company and get a response and then show up the next morning to do the work. When you get that level of service it becomes a “keeper”.

Wow! What can I say? Straightedge Plumbing Is off the charts. Our tankless heater in our home in Napeague died after 18 years. I reached out to Straightedge and within a few hours both Jonathan and Randall replied back to me. Jonathan came the next day and reviewed our existing condition and sent out a quote the following day. Their price was very fair considering what contractors charge out here. We agreed on a price and Randall and Johnny arrived at 8 AM the next day for the install. They were very clean and respectful of both our house and us. They plumbed out all new gas and water pipes. Their craftsmanship was excellent. We had hot water by lunch. Thank you Jonathan.

The team just finished. They did a nice job. They are personable, polite and attentive to their work and environment. Jonathan, the office team and the onsite team were excellent communicators. Johnathan and his crew at Straight Edge Plumbing installed a new tankless gas water heater in my home in Montauk, replacing an older, less energy efficient tank tied to my oil burning furnace. At first I was just going to replace it with the same model, but Jonathan explained how I could save energy costs by upgrading to new technology and the price was very reasonable.

He was quick, professional, used quality materials and superior craftsmanship in his pipework and was an all around pleasure to deal with. He was also very communicative via text. He cleaned up the lines around my pressurizer where somebody else had left a tangled mess years ago.

I used to work in trades and in the years since have done every kind of home repair or renovation imaginable, roof, oil tank, kitchen, bathrooms, windows, water heater, furnace, framing, insulation, paint, trim, floors, you name it. I have a pretty good sense of the cost of labor and materials, know when to do things myself, and when to call a Professional. I know that Johnathan gave me a good, honest estimate for the work. I even challenged him a little on the cost to replace a water filter and he was able to explain to my satisfaction the labor that would need to go into that part of the work. I feel like I paid for quality from a master. I always get multiple estimates for a job and I have to say the same was not true for a pretty shocking estimate I got from a prominent local family firm that I had previously done business with for 15 years who must have felt they had me hostage and treated me like a stranger. Straight Edge is honest and trustworthy.

Case in point, I have a very long run to one part of my house where the hot water seemed to be taking a while to reach and Jonathan suggested an adjustment to improve the response time. But I wanted to live with the new system for a few days to test it out. I called back a few days later and had decided, yes, indeed I did want to make that adjustment, and he came back the very same day and fixed it.

Needless to say I will be calling on Straight Edge Plumbing for my next planned or unplanned job. Trustworthy, honest, communicative, easy to do business with, and all-around superior craftsmanship, and a nice guy. It was even easy to pay online.

And this was all in the midst of the early days of the covid-19 crisis!

I called straightedge plumbing at 8:15 and spoke to Johnathan. I was having a leaking pipe in my crawl space that filled a 5 gallon bucket over night. Johnathan could not have been nicer. He assured me he would have someone there That day. I spoke to Jessica in the office who was also very nice and she put me on the schedule. A few hours later Mat and Randall showed up. They were very professional and fixed my leak in no time and also changed some other fittings that were old and could possibly give me problems in the future. They put on booties so they didn’t get my floors dirty. I give them 5 star review.

I needed a plumber quickly. After only getting voicemail after several calls to companies that came up in search, I fortunately reached Jonathan on his cell. He had just finished a job and came by in less than 30 minutes. He fixed the problem quickly and thoroughly. He and his assistant were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. First, let me say, Johnathon and his crew, are quite courteous and respectful. The water pipes froze over the winter in my mobile home unit. Upon opening up for the summer season, the pipes burst open. It was a big job with many unexpected challenges.But, with determination and professionalism, the problem was fixed.There were other add ons. Installation of new faucet and an outside shower .I am truly grateful and very happy with a job well done.

I rented a house with friends in Montauk and was blown away by the outdoor shower and indoor plumbing setup (as the water heater and pipes took up limited space and there was no problems with hot water not being available). I ended up contacting the owner to ask who did the work and they mentioned Straight Edge Plumbing. I ended up referring Straight Edge to a local friend who said they did great work, provided an honest estimate, and showed up on time. All east end Long Island plumbing needs should be done through Straight Edge.

Nice guys, great same-day service. I called about an outdoor shower having almost no hot water, and Jonathan showed up only 4 hours later, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and offered to place the entire ancient system for a fair price. I will absolutely call him again if anything else goes wrong - and it probably will 🤣
