I visited from the UK in the summer and it was very easy to find details about visiting hours online. I booked tickets in advance and when I realised that I would miss the last train back to NYC, Roberta kindly moved me to an earlier tour the same day. The studio and house tour did not disappoint and it was good to see a focus on both Lee and Jackson’s work. Helen was very knowledgable and I enjoyed talking to her about Jackson’s record collection. Special thanks to David for taking time to point out some of the colours on the studio floor from key Pollock pieces. I will definitely return for a follow up visit in the future.

We made the trip from Philadelphia to Long Island to see this place, and it was magical. The home and studio have essentially remained unchanged since Pollock and Krasner resided there. Just being able to stand inside their studio on a floor covered in Pollock's drips surrounded by walls covered in Krasner's bright splatters was worth the price and the trip. The site is beautifully kept with loads of information available in a museum style format. The tour guides are fun and informative and the shop had a great selection of books and catalogs. I would highly recommend this place for any level art enthusiast. Thank you for making this available to the public!

An amazing and fun learning experience. Listening to Karyn Mannix talk about Jackson Pollock is like stepping back in time and speaking with the artist himself.

The studio is awe inspiring and we even got to try our hand at drip painting. Well worth it!!!

Walk in the footsteps of the artists who lived here. Literally. Captivating experience to step and place your hands in the shadows of these great American painters.

Really well done audio tour, shouldn't take more than an hour for the whole thing. Pollock and Krasner are also buried in a nearby cemetery with some other notable figures from the arts.

Beautiful Hampton location with a well guided tour. Took my dad here and he was amazed with how well preserved the area was. Do not expect to see much unless you have reserved a tour. We showed up early for ours and were intimately asked to leave as management was under the impression that we were walk ins. Once they realized we had booked in advanced they were way more accommodating. #jacksonpollock

As a child, the opportunity to assist my grandfather in painting the interior of the home of the famous artist Jackson Pollock in Easthampton, NY, specifically in the area known as Springs, remains one of the most cherished memories of my youth. It was a sunny summer day in the 80s when we arrived at the artist's iconic abode in Springs.

I remember the sheer excitement that coursed through my veins as we entered the house. The interior, although modest in size, held an aura of creativity that seemed to radiate from every corner. My grandfather, a seasoned painter himself, had a gleam of pride in his eyes as he handed me a paintbrush and explained the importance of our task.

Under his patient guidance, I delicately applied strokes of paint to the walls, bringing new life to the rooms within the house in Springs. It was a simple task, but I felt a profound sense of responsibility, knowing that we were contributing to the preservation of the home of such a renowned artist in Easthampton.

As I worked, I couldn't help but imagine Jackson Pollock himself, with his iconic splatter paintings and innovative techniques, walking these same halls. The house in Springs seemed to echo with his artistic spirit, and I felt a connection to him that transcended time.

During our breaks, my grandfather shared stories of his own experiences as a painter and the wisdom he had gained over the years. I listened intently, absorbing not only his knowledge but also his passion for the art of painting.

As the days wore on, the rooms gradually transformed, their once-worn appearance giving way to fresh, vibrant colors that seemed to breathe new life into the old. I marveled at the transformative power of paint and how it could enhance the artistic essence of the house, especially in a place as historically significant as Springs, Easthampton.

When the work was done, and we stood back to admire our handiwork, I felt an immense sense of accomplishment. I knew that this experience, painting the interior of Jackson Pollock's home in Springs, Easthampton, would stay with me forever, a testament to the importance of art, the magic of Springs, and the enduring bond between generations.

Years have passed since that memorable time in Easthampton, but the vivid memories of helping my grandfather paint the interior of the home of a true artistic legend in Springs remain etched in my heart, a lasting tribute to the power of creativity, the beauty of Easthampton's Springs area, and the strength of family connections.

Yesterday I visited the Pollock exhibition and the New York school in Rome. It was like diving in his studio at "The Spings" East Hmpton. I wonder if one day I will be able to come and see the atmosphere of that place personally. greeting from Rome Sandro

What a wonderful experience. Our guide was the museum director, Helen, and she was so lovely, knowledgeable and answered any and all questions our small group had. It was so fascinating and I wish we had more time to spend there because the one hour tour went by so quickly which means we’ll be back again. Thank you, Helen!!!

A truly memorable experience, visiting and learning about Pollack and Krasner. Set in rural Springs, the house and studio are maintained by SUNY Stony Brook. A Long Island gem. Try to avoid traffic by reserving noon tour.

You know the individuals from the art, photographs taken by others, and books and movies about them. Now see where both spent most of the last years of their lives. Visitation by reservations only.

Open 1-5pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday. This is a must see in the Hamptons. For $5 you get get a real life feel for the way Jackson Pollock lived and worked in his studio. You'll stand on the exact studio floor covered in paint that Jackson used to create so many incredible masterpieces.

Tour, lecture, video and painting workshop (summer weather only) were fascinating and informative! Smart way to share culture with your kids; excellent outing for singles and those on a date. I would readily visit here again...and I shall!

Though I admit I have not yet been there, I can say with the utmost certainty that the barn was not built in 1979 as Pollock had already died in mid fifties: (perhaps they mean rebuilt or restored?)
