From the initial greet, to friendly suggestion and service - everything was top notch. The restaurant was full, but not on a wait. Food was quick and accurate. Everything tasted amazing and price was reasonable.

The food is amazing. Not your everyday food here. The bread is like soft pillows. Garlic aioli is the best ever made! The baked beans were so good I ate most of my husbands. House chips were fresh.Fresh food. Cooked to order. Clean. Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend. Love this place.

Holy Grail !!!! LOOK at the size of that sweet potato!! It's an appetizer size and man it was the best, most delicious sweet potato I've EVER had! The cinnamon and butter they bring out with it 😋 🤪 😋 💜

Good spot to get a bite as we pass through town. The chicken and waffles needs some sort of heat incorporated into it. A spicy syrup would have been great.

My husband and I rarely get a night to ourselves these days and decided to stop into Public House for the first time and we were not disappointed. Not only was our waitress, Lacey, so helpful and accommodating and kind, but the owner, George, checked in on us a few times with such kindness and to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The atmosphere was warm and calming, rustic and well kept. We will, without a doubt, be back again!

If you're searching for a great new breakfast spot, Public House in Monroe, Michigan might be the perfect place for you! My fiancee and I stopped by for breakfast while we were in town, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while.

I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which I assumed would be a standard steak cooked on the stovetop with a side of eggs. However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! The eggs and bacon on the side were cooked perfectly, and we also ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries on the side which was equally delicious.

We're already looking forward to our next visit to Public House!

Public house never disappoints! The food is amazing, the service is always great, they are so good and patient with kids. And the b building/atmosphere is so beautiful, modern and clean. It's a Monroe favorite of ours!

One of the best BLTs I’ve ever had! This place is delicious! There is a bar with clever and delicious cocktails (fizzy drinks with elderflower liquor anyone?!) They have their own pastry chef so there are yummy dessert options. The sauces are homemade, the food is tasty and fresh, and the service was fantastic. They have amazing breakfast options too and breakfast is served all day. It’s clear the staff really care about the customer experience. I highly recommend this place!

They make eating gluten free easy. Our server, Stephanie, was fantastic. The food was amazing and the drinks were equally delicious. We loved dinner so much we came back for brunch the next day!

I am very disappointed. I am very disappointed in myself for not having found this place years ago. This was just another random restaurant stop, but one of the best I have made. The hostess was very friendly, and we were seated promptly. This place has a really great vibe to it, just a all around great aesthetics. The menu was vast with great options. I hard time picking but settled on jumblaya and fried chicken sandwich. We also got nachos for an appetizer. The nachos themselves could almost be a meal. The pulled pork, cheese sauce, and beans were a great combination. The chicken sandwich was one of the freshest I have ever had. The house made chips and dipping sauces were great. The jumblaya was very fresh with just the right amount of heat. The cole slaw was also very good, and I'm very picky with my cole slaw. It was creamy but not drowning in sauce. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu choices. I will definitely will be driving the 45 minute trip again.

Love the concept of this restaurant & it's support of other local businesses! This was a great stop on our travels. Shannon was so kind and helpful. Every dish we got was amazing!

I came for brunch with my daughter at her request and as usual, Public House was wonderful. We came during a very busy Sunday brunch at noon and were seated within 10 minutes. I ordered a BLT flatbread with garlic aioli, very fresh and delicious, very garlicky. I also ordered the fried pickles, very crispy breading and tangy sauce. My daughter got the seasonal strawberry french toast, delicious. The waitress was attentive, and service was quick.

Passing through town and decided to eat here. The restaurant was lovely and clean with friendly service. I enjoyed my spicy Mac and cheese with steak and Parmesan Brussels. I had the blackberry iced tea which was lovely and refreshing. The key lime pie for desert was scrummy.

This was my second time here and once again, the food is just amazing! They have such unique items on their menu at a great price!! I ordered the Thanksgiving Burger and my boyfriend ordered the Shrimp and Grits! Never disappointed!!

Of course, went for breakfast and WOW!!! The Michigan Omelet was fantastic!! Service was spectacular as always!!! I love the different specials!!

Great find on google map. Excellent food and large portions. George the owner visited our table and others, checking on each customers meal progression. The French Onion Soup with 1/2 of a Michigan Salad was more than enough for me. Wonderful restaurant in Monroe

I no longer live in the area but every single time I fly home I come here and eat! The food is so delicious every single time and they make a darn good mimosa! My niece lives for the French toast!

This restaurant was amazing! The food was fantastic, I got an appetizer of deep fried pickles and a main course of salmon and fries. It wasn't heavy, considering the amount of food and it was in a nice portion size. The salmon was nice and moist while the fries were crinkly and thick. It all came with a variety of dipping sauces, all very tasty. Not only the food however, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very kind and we even had the head chef walk by our table to ask if everything was okay. The restrooms were very clean and relatively modern which I find to be very important. I would definitely return to this restaurant if I come back to this city.

Stopped here for dinner during a trip to Monroe and we are so glad we did! The food was great and our server was so sweet. The atmosphere was inviting too! Everything on the menu was a fair price. Highly recommend!

My lunch mates envious. I had the Shrimp & Grits. It was a crisp cake of polenta with the most amazing sauce, shrimp, magical crumbles topped with two perfectly cooked eggs. Even the pickled onions on the side of the plate were herbaceous and flavorful. My 9 year kept asking for another bite and my husband looked longingly at my plate asking to split plates like we usually do. I kept my plate today.
