Came here for a quiet last trip of the season. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom/shower is clean and bright and accessible. While it's across the river from some industrial space and not far from 75, it's quiet and the wind in the trees make for a nice white noise.

It's a marina, with a launch, so there is room for your boat and you could get a site on the water right next to your boat. It's local to shopping, and some nice parks.

Evidently the industrial stuff across the river makes a good area for bald eagles to live. Every day we were here, we caught a glimpse of them flying by or in a tree on the river. This alone is worth the price of admission. (Evidently there are at least 80 pairs in the area) The campground seems to be popular for long term guests, so it's not a place with set activities, which was perfect for us- we wanted a spot to light a fire and touch grass without hayrides and fall festivities.

The exit onto Elm off of 75 is sharp, make sure to prepare. The sites aren't large, but the tall poplar trees give a nice spacious ambiance to the campground. We were here in October so I wasn't about to kayak, but when we come back it will be on the agenda.

Came up here with my husband for work and Karen was amazing. She got us a spot and was so welcoming and helpful! Our site was beautiful and had a full view of the lake. The RV park was very well kept up and everyone was so friendly! We read previous reviews and were skeptical, but it exceeded our expectations! Everything was great, it was nice and shady, and very quiet. My husband worked nights and had no problem sleeping during the day. We will be staying here again if we come back to Monroe 😊.

This camp is not directly on the beach. There is a 5 mile hike through the marshland and butterfly garden. Before arriving at the beach. It is quietly tucked away in a Little Bay, the boots line, the Marina The grass is maintained Showers have amazing hot water but very little pressure. We will definitely be returned campers.

I really enjoyed my stay at River Raisin. The owners are awesome people. Karen was amazing. She was so sweet and kind. The place is clean and your neighbors are quiet. Anytime I come back this way I will stay here. The prices are great. There is a place to go fishing right at your campsite. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys a wonderful camping experience.

Had a great experience here. Stopped in late on Saturday of a holiday weekend and was able to get a full hookup on the water. Beautiful setup. Manager told me exactly what our charges were. We asked about monthly rates for another time and she was very upfront about how our site would be extra in summer months due to dock that goes with it. Interior site are less. Makes sense to me. Had a great time and wish we were still there.

This is a nice private little campsite with tons of river front sites, especially for tent campers. It’s great for fishing! The staff is very friendly and will jump to accommodate you as well. We will definitely be back!

We dealt with Veronica and Ron during our month stay. They were pleasant to deal with and accommodated our needs. It was nice waking up to a lake front, but I might be biased since I love any body of water. It’s a quiet campground. You can hear the occasional train and some noise from the power plant, nothing too bothersome. The rent is affordable compared to other campgrounds in the area. Needless to say, it was a pleasant stay!

My dad had brought me to the camp ground and immediately I was so Ecstatic, the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. The campground is Quite literally a bike ride away from so many different sites. Such as, there is multiple very nice bike trails along with a very accessible beach several miles away, parks and more!. Ice cream and other small shops in the town. The minute Veronica had seen my brother and I on bikes she immediately made sure we knew about all of the fun things to do. We appreciate her so much! We won’t ever be able to forget our stay with you guys. Everyone in the campground was so welcoming and the view is breathtaking, waking up to walk outside to a beautiful river with so many different kind of boats, from recreational boats to huge cargo-like ships. From the views to the activities to the people it was an experience I will treasure. I can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here for our inaugural RV experience, & it was perfect! Everyone (employees & guests) was helpful, friendly, and patient. We can now camp with confidence, thanks to all the great help we received. The waterfront site was beautiful, and well priced. We would highly recommend staying here, & plan to return for a longer duration. Thank you!!!!

Had an awesome weekend at River Raisin Marina and Campground! Perfect site on the river with the boat docked right out front! The manager (Karen) goes out of her way to get you the right site and her right hand man(Ron) does the rest! We’ll be back soon!!

I want to start off with saying that we had a great time. Bill I believe is the name of the man that is the caretaker of the campground, he was absolutely great. Willing to help anyway that he could. The campsites were clean tidy and ready for us when we got there. The docks for the boats are floating so the water height is not an issue. The kids had an awesome time catching crayfish on the waters edge. I did not experience the bathroom first hand but was told they were clean by others in our group. The water access was great. Something about having your boat right at your campsite is awesome. The water itself can be affected by the algae bloom later in the summer. I have a feeling that we will be back next year.

One bit of warning. Pack your patience when you are dealing with Victoria. She will be the one taking a reservation and handling the payment. It’s almost like she is on island time. Her response time is slow. She always responded, Just took her some time. I guess I am accustomed to instant responses when it comes to this type of stuff. (Maybe this is my problem) I think this could be easily fixed with some type of form/worksheet that you email to guest when making the reservation. This way everything is upfront and you know what to expect. Or just have Bill take care of it since he is on site.

Overall this was an awesome experience. You would be hard-pressed to find a better marina campground in the area. Thank you so much for having us, it was truly our pleasure.

We had 3 camp sites with 3 boat docks, 6 adults and 5 children.

Very professional and kind this RV park provided everything I needed. The park is run by two people a woman and a man. The woman is very kind and will answer your phone call. Just about anytime of the day, which was a big help. And the man is very handy and knows how to fix a thing or two, like a leaky hose. Overall, I had a great experience and if I’m in the area I will return to this RV park.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The owner was very accommodating and delivered on our request for a large site close to the water. The campground is full of mature, shady trees - and the fishing was great! The proximity to the Heritage Trail and State Park was a plus too. Although small, the kids enjoyed exploring the campground on their bikes. I would definitely return.

We took my son camping for the first time here a couple weeks back and it couldn't have gone anymore perfect! The lot we rented was just the right spot for a 6 year old little boys first expierence out in the woods. We all had such a blast fishing right off our own little personal dock. The fishing was incredible as well. Literally jumping out of the water all over the place! Neither I or my boyfriend(who is a avid fishing enthusiast) have ever seen so much activity right off the shore! The owners were extremely welcoming, and the whole campground had a very strong family-like feel. They even were courteous enough to come drive by a few times to check if we needed anything and to chat with my son about his time there, it was precious. We loved it, and will definitely be bringing the family back soon! But this time, were bringing the whole kid crew! Thank you River Raisin Marina & Campground for delivering a hands-down blast of an adventure to my son and his first time camping! He'll remember that trip for the rest of his life ❤

This is my go to Rv park when working in the area. Veronica accommodated me when every campground in the area was full. (More than once) She even made a temporary spot for my helper. She went above and beyond for us. I had packages arrive after I left they held onto them and shipped them to me. Full hookups right on the water with the option to dock a boat. Not to mention the Clamdigger bar and grill is right up the road! Long term the price is fair in my opinion. On site laundry as well.

This campground was small and lovely. It was easy to get to from the interstate with plenty of room for our 35' rig. It's a great place to spend some time relaxing. Wooded sites surrounded the interior while more lightly wooded sites bordered the river. This quiet campground was convenient to day trips to Detroit while also a great stop on the way west on I90. The owners were so kind and welcoming I wish we could have stayed longer!
