Ordered door dash while in town. Never had poutine before but it is a mighty fine dish I will say. The pulled pork along with mix of fries an cheese sauce. Don't forget the creamy cheese curds tucked about! Richie's is a treasure folks! I'll be back

The food is exceptional and authentic. But the real reason I love this place is Richie and Stephanie. They are warm and inviting, super great people. They cook with passion and love. I recently got to watch Richie for from start to finish making jerk chicken. He is a master.

I recommend everyone come try Richies. It is a small place inside, but big on flavor and vibe. Come as strangers and leave as friends. Ya Mon.

Absolutely love their food! They add just the perfect amount of spice for your average basic white girl (me. I hate spicy) but I can't get enough of this taste! The meatball subs is to die for while the pulled pork has a wonderful smokey flavor and the Philly cheese steak is oozing with deliciousness. This place has the best comfort food you could ask for.

Delicious! Definitely more of a take out place as it is very small (though plenty of outdoor seating for the summer) I got the jerk chicken and it was amazing left me wanting more.

Wifey & i went there had the Philly steak and cheese minus mushrooms and a side of beans and rice! Beans & rice was delicious! It was the best steak and cheese me and my wifey ever had! I've been to Philly for the infamous sub! I'll tell ya they got them beat hands down! Go check out this lil gem of place small place big flavor!

For those in the area that haven’t tried Richie’s, you’re missing out. We are blessed in Sanford to have a spot that serves amazing jerk chicken and other Jamaican specialities. Richie is also a great dude.

Jerk chicken wrap and steak and cheese were both amazing and filled with flavor! Even the fries are amazingly seasoned. Called ahead in a hurry and our food was ready and waiting. Best quick bite. We’ll be back!

I loved the food here! We ordered the jerk chicken with sides of beans and rice and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was smooth and creamy, the chicken delightfully seasoned, and the rice hit me in the soul. Everything was so incredibly delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try more! The chefs were very friendly and enjoyable while they cooked our food. You will not go wrong with Richie’s!

Absolutely the best Jamaican food in Maine! Nothing can beat their oxtails! On top of that the owners are kind people, creating a comfortable atmosphere that feels like eating with family. I highly recommend checking Richie's out!

Everything I’ve tried is so good! I love the jerk chicken wrap. It has great flavor and some heat and delicious pineapple salsa to balance it. We got Mac and tots bowl which was also amazing. Highly recommended!

Got Richies Jerk&BBQ doordashed tonight...and I can say without a doubt it is the most flavorful food I've eaten out of Sanford! I got the Jerk Chicken Wrap, and my partner got the fried fish sandwich. We were both very pleased with the food, the flavor, and the minimal wait time we had to get our order delivered. 5/5, will definitely be ordering again!

Ridiculously good! Ordered the Jerk Chicken Stir Fry and the Fried Chicken Po Boy....both are can't miss! The flavor in the Jerk Chicken is perfection! Definitely will be returning!

Best Caribbean food I’ve had since last time we were in the Bahamas. Those who know Caribbean food will love this place! Richie’s is the real deal and we’ll be back. I had the jerk chicken and my wife had the jerk pork. Also the rice, potato salad and coleslaw are great! Keep in mind this restaurant has small bar seating (7-8 high chairs) and does an incredible take out business as well. Just while we were there at least 5 take out orders went out. My wife and I had a great time sitting at the bar watching the food prep!

We're getting take out from this restaurant tonight for the 4th time in less than a month. It is fantastic!!! We've tried a few different things and all of them were delicious. I'm a huge fan of their Coconut Shrimp and their Jerk Fish Tacos, and my husband loves the Fried Chicken Po Boy and the Jerk chicken. He's southern born and is a picky eater, and Richie's never disappoints!! Oh, and do not miss out on Taco Tuesday!! And the French fries are awesome too! We highly recommend this place!!!

Richies is a great place I ordered the chicken sandwich it is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had the chicken had its own twist of tasteful spices and was crispy to the T. I would recommend it to anyone! Friendly people! Glad to have such a great local business!

Friday night... We drove to a couple places to try and get a bite to eat... Both were closed. Why? No staff to work. We checked another place, and it was too busy. There were probably 20 people, at least, waiting to get seated. We were about to go home when we saw this small little place on the side of the road, called Richie's Jerk & BBQ. A small sign on the building said "Jamaican Food". We had just been to Jamaica in April, and had a blast, so we decided to just stop in and try it. It's a small, crowded place, with only enough for 6 people to sit at a counter, about two feet from where our wonderful chef, and I assume her son helping, were cooking at the grill. The menu is quite extensive with all kinds of Jamaican jerk style chicken, fish, oxtail, fries, etc. While we were there multiple people kept coming in to pick up food. The two of them were right on it, cooking up a storm for all of those that came to eat in, and those that came to take something to go, and for those that called in while we were there. They worked together like a well oiled machine, and the food was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, heat, and deliciousness!! Don't let the small building fool you; this place is FULL of flavor and love. I highly recommend it!
