Mill Towne Tavern

Stopped in today to check it out with a friend. Love the look of the pallet walls and bar design. Jen was great behind the bar. The food was delicous and good size portions.

I feel like this place needs a good 5 stars. I think it has gotten a less than desirable rep in the past but I can confirm it is not the place I knew growing up. The food was really good, did I mention 2 DOLLAR TACOS ON WEDNESDAYS! the pulled pork nachos were also great and the prices are very fair. Pool tables are in good shape and overall nothing to complain about.

Very nice staff greeted cheerfully on the phone as well as in person… nothing but good vibes the best food I’ve tasted since being in Maine cant add photos because I ate everything before leaving the review next time I’ll leave a pic…lol

I wasn't expecting much from a watering hole in Sanford, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Mill Towne Tavern is. I checked out a few bars in the area around 2012, and everything pretty much sucked. MTT is a nice joint. I've only ever come in for a drink and something small to eat - never really stuck around to see what it's like after 10 PM. My short experiences here have always been positive. The place is clean and decorated in a cool, funky way that I have a hard time describing... like "Americana meets Roadhouse" is pretty close but not quite right. Lots of places put very minimal effort into the aesthetics of the joint, but MTT looks good. You can tell that a lot of quality work and care was put into this establishment.

Great beer selection and food is great with large portions. Also great place to play pool. Best tables in the area

Today was our first time dining at this location. The staff were very attentive and kind, even gave us a shirley temple on the house!

We ordered wings, chicken & waffles, the mac and cheese burger, and the black and blue burger. They all tasted delicious and didn’t take long for us to get them.

They have a variety of games (billiards, corn hole, jenga) and tons of space to spread out. Overall I’d recommend this place to my family and friends.

Was thinking about going, really love to play pool and eat good pub food, but after reading the owners responses to reviews, maybe not. I take reviews with a grain of salt, but owner responses are cringe, maybe just know you are doing well and stay off the reviews, makes you look no better then the probably horrible customers giving bad reviews, rise above.

Fantastic venue, open and inviting. Pool tables, corn hole, darts, giant Jenga, pleasant staff, affordable drinks. Particularly love the Wednesday Bartender Jennifer, she’s a great multi tasker!

We are new to area, stopped in and extremely happy we did. More than what we expected. Super awesome bartender, good food and drinks. Totally different atmosphere than what we thought it was going to be. Pool tables, giant janga, checkers in the back.

Great food. Never disappointed. If you're searching for food and no one is sounding good this is an awesome place to hit. Varied menu. Awesome drafts. Haven't had a bad meal yet.

Pretzel burger is great, $5 margaritas, and a funny family dynamic. I shan’t complain

My family and I ordered some burgers from there tonight. The smokehouse burger and seasoned fry’s are BUSSIN! Also the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was delicious too. Definitely recommend.

The service was great, the food was good, Great live music from Acoustically Soeaking last night! I would recommend to anyone who wants a place to have a drink and laugh with friends. Also, they have giant Jenga, beer pong, pool and tabletop shuffleboard!

Love it!!!! It was so nice to be in here. So many free games for you to enjoy and pricing is nice. Went during happy hour and it was half off drinks. They do live music and it's awesome..

This place has really turned into a all around family friendly/ great tavern to come to and enjoy great food with wonderful people and just let loose! Its taken something that was once an eye sore and made it a respectable establishment

Neighborhood bar. Great barmaids, Excellent food.No waitresses - you order at the bar and pick up your own food and drink. Lots of bar games. Overall a great experience and a fun place to be!

Places draws a crowd, could use another bartender on sat. Night. Decent band. Good pool tables. Hasn't been as busy lately.

They got awesome food well worth the price a lot activities to do there and the bartenders r very polite and live bands too that r pretty good overall it's a great bar to go too

I haven’t actually been yet but the owner clapping back at people in the comments is great. That alone earns this place 5 stars. I plan on visiting soon
