The Unit Storage

The facility was always clean and well maintained. Never had any issues accessing my storage and it was very quick to get in and out of my storage. The location is excellent for people on the south end of town and especially for those around the UIS/East Lake Shore region. Highly recommend with very reasonable pricing.

Very clean and secure. Temperature was always moderately cool (I'm guessing in the 60s??). On 2 occasions, I ran into employees. They were both very friendly.

My children attend UIS and we store their belongings here each summer so we don't have to drive it 3 hours back to Chicago. Easy rental and checkout. I feel safe sending my children there to load and unload the unit. Very secure and clean. We will be back next summer :)

The units are very clean, free of odors, and I haven't had any issues with bugs which is a huge plus for me.

Excellent storage units. Exceptionally clean and well built. No outside access. Gated. Climate controlled. Best value for highly secure, clean, and spacious tall units. Could not ask for any better experience and complete customer service. Super easy check in system and check out was just as efficient. These folks have it figured out. Great place for short or long term storage. You won't be disappointed.

My daughter is a college student and this unit was perfect to store her belongings while she was home for the summer. Easy access, close to campus and the facility was safe and clean. I highly recommend!

This unit is brand new and VERY CLEAN. The AC has functioned very well even in the hottest part of the summer. Its very convenient to have the keypad on the gate as well as the entrance to the building. The property is secured with outside fence and metal doors.
It is an excellent storage facility which we are confident is the best choice for storage for us.

Amazing storage unit. Always so clean and safe. I’ve stored my whole life in there for 9 months and would recommend it to everyone. If I ever need storage again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The owners are quick and easy to get ahold of for anything. Thank you for everything!

My experience with The Unit Storage has been wonderful. The billing has been accurate and timely. When I needed to ask a question or contact the office staff, they have been very responsive and quick with their replies. The facility is well maintained and has been problem free for us. I have used storage lockers in different locations around the continent. I have to say that The Unit Storage here in Springfield is among the very best of them. The facilities are secure, clean, and well-managed. The price is right. And the customer service is great!
