The Spaghetti Shop

We live over an hour away from this location and it was well worth the time spent driving here. The food has changed a little bit. I think it's better than it was the last time I was here. (Over 2 years ago thanks to the Rona) service has improved greatly and cleanliness has noticeably improved. We make a point to go on Sunday for the all you can eat special. But I have never had a bad meal here.

Strolled in around 6pm on a Monday night, exhausted from work.. Wanted some spaget. From what I remember roughly 6 years back the sauce was less than terrible, the store was dingy never looked like they cleaned, just felt really gloomy.

This time however was a better experience!

I asked the owner if I could sample his sauce. Reluctantly after slightly rolling his eyes down at me, I was allowed to slurp the sauce. It wasn't salty this time!
Whatever he did to improve the sauce worked.

The soda machine was out of c02 so the drinks were flat, but the manager gave me a 2 liter to make up for it. Thanks for that by the way. :)

I got the bucket and bread, spent close to $20. A good price for a family of four. I am that family of 4.

Never change the garlic bread recipe. It's perfect. Next time I'm in there I'll just have to order 10 pounds of garlic bread and call it a day. 5 stars

We were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the courteous and helpful woman behind the counter. The garden salad was the very best restaurant salad I’ve had in years. Everything was chopped - NO big chunks of lettuce or tomato wedges. That rates high in my book. The Fettuccini sauce was delicious and made me want to lick it all up - I didn’t, but it was that good!

I liked it. It wasn't extravagant Italian cuisine but their garlic bread is my favorite in all of Springfield. They got my order right, the food was hot, and I got what I paid for. Don't ruin your future relationship by taking a date here though. This isn't for that 😅 but their Spaghetti and Meatballs aren't bad!

Rewriting this review, because I tried them again tonight. Holy cow. They have upped their game considerably. Everything was fresh and hot, the food was cooked perfectly, the taste was very good, and the service impeccable. Will definitely be returning.
BTW, this is a locally veteran owned business, get out there and support one of our own!!!!

Husband brought this to me for dinner, good tasting spaghetti, bread is sweet and delicious. We come here when we are craving spaghetti and never have any issues with employees or food. Food is always correct and portioned great.

Absolutely amazing quality food at a great price it's unbeatable new owners and staff that take pride in there food and make sure there customers have a wonderful experience you won't be disappointed in anyway when either calling your order in our just walking in there food is always fresh and hot made to order but the kicker is they have just opened a new location on south sixth street so check it out!! If you've ever had a disappointing experience with this company give them another chance and I guarantee you will be delighted!!

The singular best place to get spaghetti. I wish they had a drive through but their meat sauce tastes like bolognese, and for once in the world of resteraunt spaghetti is not sweet. Garlic breas fantastic, prices so low its a steal.

Best spaghetti in Springfield my girlfriend is in the hospital and she said that she wanted to try something different than Olive Garden well this beats Olive garden people I love it I will go back any day Great staff and great owner

Really good spaghetti and meatballs, plus the best garlic bread I've ever eaten. And it's all at a very affordable price!

If you have never had an Uncle Louie sandwich I highly recommend it. Be sure to ask what is on it if you don't like certain things.
