Burger Bar

Burger Bar participated in 217FoodWeek during the 2021 Burger week with an offering of a "Dill Dip Burger" with homemade chips. I also added their fried pickle spears to my order. Everything was excellent. The dill dip is actually a generous portion of a beef and dill cheese ball spread, and wasn't runny like a dip would be. It had plenty of chipped beef and chunks of dill pickle spears throughout and was nice and thick. The cold "dip" on the hot beef patty was a great contrast and it wasn't too overwhelming dilly to detract from the taste of the burger. The chips were also generous and though I prefer really salty ones, these chips had a great flavor. The fried pickles were excellent with the ranch dip that was thrown in. I ate two of the spears before I took a picture, so take that into account when figuring portion size. I'm hoping the Dill Dip Burger will become a regular menu item.

The macaroni & cheese burger could use something in the spices department, but the Bourbon burger omg—perfect.

We haven't been here in several years, but it's still a great place for hamburgers. I had the Philly with mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and mozzarella with a side of coleslaw. My wife had the veggie burger with a side salad. Both were excellent. Excellent server.

2/4/2024: Went for an early dinner, and the place was crowded but soon emptied out. I ordered the 8 wings with bourbon BBQ sauce. I thought I would have the three burger sliders but decided to wait to order them. Glad I did; the wings were large meaty, and filling. I didn't want the sliders. My wife had the veggie burger with a salad. Everything was really good, and our server was excellent. An inexpensive but good dinner.

Spent the weekend driving Illinois Route 66. We stopped in Springfield for a bite to eat, and a few drinks apparently. Nice little bar, cozy, good food, good service. Google Maps took us on a weird drive to get there, but we finally made it. We filled up our bellies and got back on the road. Thanks for the hospitality Burger Bar!

Incredible service and food. Our server, Stephanie was the best! Absolute Over-The-Top service. Punctual, helpful and most of all FRIENDLY! The food was great, we all the different burgers, zero complaints! Fantastic service, good food. We will absolutely be back!

Such an amazing place. Best burgers and sandwiches in the town. Tried the Avocado chicken sandwich and one build your own. So friendly staff.

Menu has a variety of pub type foods. Great bugers,fries,wings. Always a good time here with the staff taking care of you with food and drink needs.

Very nice Lil Local Spot for great food and Drinks. If you are in South Springfield,IL you and your friends should really check them out!!! They are in the County Market Shopping Center in Southern View off The Old Route 66 route!! They have Cooking Karaoke on Tuesday nights.

I am visiting from out of town, and I will definitely return the next time I am in the area. The food was delicious!

Awesome wings and a great selection of burgers you won't find anywhere else in town. Laid back atmosphere.

I don't use the ATM thing that's some good food and a pretty good waitress I had a pony shoe it was gyro pony shoe

It was 4th of July and everything was either closed due to the holiday, without power or had hour + wait times. We finally became desperate and searched Google. As first time customers we didn't know what to expect. Needless to say the place was jam packed but we lucked out finding a table. Service didn't take long at all considering the crowd. We shared an order of mini corn dogs and we each had a burger. The wife ordered the All American burger & I devoured the Gyro burger. Food & service were both great. Look forward to coming back!

A simple concept and comfortable atmosphere with extraordinary burgers every time!

It was a great experience. They are still giving good service even with the covid rules. The food was good. I had a pony and potato skins. They were both good. I also recommend seeing Pinky.

Loved this place, was actually greeted by the owners who were upbeat and treated everyone like family. The waiter was very nice and friendly, the food was amazing and the wait time was only maybe 10-15 mins. I would recommend this place to anyone and i can't wait to go back
