El Amigo Bar Grill Mexican Restaurant

Pretty decent place. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food, this one passed the test. Decent bar area as well.

We travel the country full-time and always seek local Mexican restaurants. We loved El Amigo. The thick salsa was delicious. Chicken with chorizo and queso. Yum. Very nice place. Very nice staff.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the food is so flavorful and delicious! We will be back, thank you El Dee and staff!

We came from Texas and were looking for a place to eat and we found this restaurant and our visit was great. The food was very delicious, I even ordered takeout and the service was regular because they were on the cell phone.

I ordered Pollo El amigo and my husband ordered the some kind of bowl with chicken and steak we both loved our meals. The place could Def use some updates as far as the building and furniture, but if you don't care about a "fancy" experience I would highly recommend. The salsa was fresh and chunky loved it!

The staff was very friendly and the food was delivered quickly. This place is kid friendly. The food was delicious and really hit the spot. The margarita was also very tasty. It was a big hit with our family.

We were on a cross-country road trip and were staying overnight in Montgomery. The desk clerk at our hotel recommended this place, and after a long day on the road, the food at El Amigo Mexican Restaurant really hit the spot! Our server was very friendly as he welcomed us and answered our questions politely. The menu was quite extensive. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were very good. The iced tea was also fresh and brisk. This meal at this restaurant turned out to be one of the most satisfying on our trip. If I'm every staying in Montgomery again, I would look forward to a return visit.

Funky, friendly atmosphere with solid array of good Mexican dishes. If you're in the neighborhood, you're unlikely to regret the stop.

We saw this on Google just traveling through. It was convenient to the exit so decided to try it. The food was excellent, the service very fast, friendly and efficient! I wish we had this closer to home!

I just try the Sweet potato cheese cake and Shrimp quesadilla with salsa picante so yummy 😋 highly recommended we eating outside bc I have my baby dog with us but atmosphere inside is good 👍 by the way we traveling to Georgia from Houston Tx 💁🏻‍♀💁🏻‍♀

I service was outstanding! We sat on the patio. Food arrived very fast. If you’re traveling on I-65 you should stop and have a bite!

Very Accomodating! We called and they made tables for our group of 25 at the last minute. The food was very good with fast, friendly service. If you like authentic Mexican this is your place!

100% worth stopping and eating here. The food is fantastic. I prefer more traditional Mexican food vs everything being doused in that white cheese meant for chips.

all of the people were so friendly and helpful. our food was fast and amazing!
