I had an excellent experience with Hawkins funeral home. They were so patient, kind, and understanding. With a couple of misunderstandings on my part they were so helpful getting them fixed last minute. They were so kind to my family. We have a family tradition for funerals and they were so kind in accommodating to those traditions. Thank you Hawkins funeral home you took excellent care of my family!

The Staff at Hawkins was very kind during the process of planning my mother’s final services. The prices was very clear never at anytime did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Even though her services where done on a budget I never felt like we was treated second class in anyway. Thank you Chet, Yvonne and your team for helping her services be as seamless as possible.

Chet Niblett and his colleagues were so very helpful in working with us regarding my mother in law’s funeral. It took so much stress off us and freed us to spend time with our family. All aspects of the visitation, funeral and graveside services were well planned and conducted. Highest recommendation.

Trey Hawkins showed up in the early morning hours of March 2, 2015 to my Dad's house who had passed. From the moment he arrived he treated us like he would have if it was a member of his own family. He went above and beyond and never tried to play on our sorrow for a sell. He gave us the best deal that he could for my Dad. He showed not only my family total respect and regards during our loss, but my Dad as well. I have known the Hawkins family for years and I know by experience that when we suffer another loss which is inevitable , That I will be calling on him again without an ounce of hesitation. Although the staff is friendly and nice, the lack of communication and organization is inconceivable. From the moment my Uncle was picked up at the hospital, until I picked up his cremains, nothing had gone right. They called a week prior to me picking him up to let me know he was ready. When I got there to pick up, he was not even placed in the urn that we had ordered. I was then told they didn't have the completed urn due to a missing piece. I could leave him there if I wish and they would order what needed to be ordered but it may take several weeks for it to come in. My uncle died in October and it is now December 21. I feel like they should have known about the urn before they even called me to say he was ready. Just an over-all bad experience. Trey has offered to make things right after Christmas, so we shall see.

Trey made sure all was taken care of. He got us the Urn we wanted and a very nice box for my Uncle's cremains to be placed at DFW national.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Hawkins Funeral home. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The staff was pushy and constantly tried to upsell me on more expensive services, despite my clear budgetary constraints. They even went so far as to guilt me into purchasing additional items that I didn't want or need. The whole experience left me feeling frustrated and betrayed during a time of grief and mourning.
Overall, I would not recommend Hawkins Funeral home to anyone. They clearly prioritize profit over their clients' well-being and are more than willing to take advantage of vulnerable individuals during a difficult time. If you want to ensure that your loved one's funeral is handled with dignity and respect, I would advise looking elsewhere.

Also reading their responses to a negative review they said "Champagne taste on a beer budget, never really works out" Which just goes to show how little compassion they have for people.

Wish the funeral home was more accommodating.
For how much we spent here I wish more was done. I would not recommend this place to anymore if you have a choice. The place needs a modern renovation, and on top of that... what places charge $3000 for cremation. Again, if you can take your business elsewhere, please do so.
