El Toro Mexican Restaurant

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the boro!!! The El Toro burrito is my absolute go to when I come here!! I’ve been coming here for years and I highly recommend it.The burrito is so big I shared it with my friend. But wanted to try this carne asada taco!! Delicious

Kassandra gave us Great Service! This is the best mexican restaurant in Murfreesboro. Food hot and cooked to perfection. The pink lemonade is FIREEEE!❤‍🔥 10/10 recommend. My Husband and I can’t wait to get hungry again so we can eat our leftovers!

My wife and kids visited and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was very tasty, Margarita was on point and the portion sizes were huge! Waiting staff were a little inexperienced, but very pleasant and didn’t have to wait long for the food. Will definitely go back. The only criticism I’d have was the size of the table viza viz the food we ordered. Otherwise, great experience!

I've eaten at this location several times. Service has always been good and the food is consistently well prepared. Even the meals that are common to most restaurants have a more authentic feel. It's one of my favorite places in town.

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday. The service was fast and our server was very prompt . She was patient and answered all my questions because I’m indecisive. We got our food fairly quick. When I tell you, those chips are fried to perfection. We got full just eating those. Salsa was delicious and had great spice. I got the chimichanga and my fries had the chicken, cheese, and rice. 10/10 most definitely recommend ❤

First! Parking. I didn't do the math but I will wager they have more than the minimum required disabled person parking. Add to that, it's a big place - plenty of room.

Next: perfect service. The salsa dish is a little small but I didn't run out - without prompting - reloaded. When you think about it, smaller is better because you can get two and add el Torro sauce to one and leave the other as is if you have 4 people at the booth. Smart!

Also, if you look at my pic you see extra cilantro (I like a little salsa with my cilantro). A simple ask and it was cheerfully provided.

Now, the food. I did come in and order off the lunch menu. The crazy chicken was the order for today. ¡Perfecto!

Oh, and a pet peeve - I'm not a huge fan of restaurants with no ceiling. But what's just as bad is a drupy water-stained ceiling or - either way one that looks like the vents haven't been cleaned since Richard Milhouse Nixon. No problem here. Respect to the Bull for a clean restaurant.

What else small thing - hardware. You get bonified tableware. Yeppers, sturdy enough to cut your crazy chicken into taco sized meat chunks. Yeah it's a little thing - but little things matter.

Please don't be afraid if the parking lot looks a little empty - it's a hard frustrating left turn across Memorial. So, just turn right and circle around.

What else ...? Prices are good, menu selection good, well lit and easy to find: it's just across from Jones Brother's Car wash.

I stuck some menu pics in and while I didn't look, they probably have a web site with it. But you might be able to read the QR code from the cover.

So if you are new in town or simply have not been by in a while - consider giving el Torro a try.

I usually don't give all 5🌟, and in truth the only complaint I could come up with was the boss had a shirt on with an unattractive orange T on. RTR! 😂 (OK, GBO - they earned it).

We’ve had events as well as casual dinners here and every time it’s a great experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly and prompt. The prices are fantastic and 2 for one Margs pretty much all the time. My wife and I went in two years ago for the first time and have been back at least once a month if not more ever since!

Love this place! The food is excellent! They have some very authentic food and the atmosphere is amazing! The staff here are top rate. Luckily when I come my waiter is usually Victor and he always takes great care of me. They also support local schools and the community! I definitely recommend! I’ve had Mexican food all over the World! You won’t be disappointed!

Huge portions and great atmosphere. We always have the best service. The salsa bar is my absolute favorite. They are definitely worth checking out.

It’s a great and welcoming place to dine in with your friends and family and everyone is very friendly , but in particular Esperanza, she’s the sweetest and most attentive person ! Great customer service !!! :) highly recommend trying it out !!

This place is amazing for Mexican food. The people that work there are super nice. The food is bountiful for the price you pay. The place is always clean and inviting. We go all the time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get great value for the price.

Had date night with my husband here. Food is fresh and served hot. Service is always great. They have a great party room for large groups as well!

Best Mexican restaurant in Town. Awesome margaritas and they also have trivia night on Wednesdays and a very fun game called Singo on Thursdays. Must see and experience. Excellent food and service!!!!
