The very best store and owner. We have shopped there for years and he has really made the store magical! He and the store is quite the treasure. If you want to get into trains or would like a well built piece of bare furniture you can paint or stain to make it your own, go in. You wont be sorry.

I like going there to see if Mr Thor has located any nice & interesting antiques. I can spend hours there.

Loved going in here. I was looking for a train to have under a Christmas tree. Owner took time to explain the sizes and walk my wife and I through options. Ended up finding something we both loved. Purchased a train and a couple cars and the owner gave us a great price on everything. I will definitely be returning for more as we expand in the future.

I was a out of towner from Ga had a good time talking with the owner and looking around the store. He has a good amount of stuff that if you're into trains or making dioramas with ho n or o scale you will have a good time.

Great place fantastic owners. Very helpful. Purchased 2 chairs there a year ago probably the best made rocking chairs anywhere and now this year went and bought a bunch of train supplies great prices and again fantastic service and help with selecting train supplies. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Thors for many years. What a great selection of Lionel Trains. Vintage and new trains are available at very good prices. And yes it can be packed in there. An old friend of mine had an antique shop and would say, "stack it up". The folks there will be glad to help as always. Visit Thors when you can.

Love the store, they are so nice and kind and the electric trains are awesome. It is a shame the city made him paint over the awesome train station murals on his building. Highly recommend going there for hard to find train and model related items.

Thor is great! Lots of Lionel and O gauge items. A must visit for model railroading.

Visited this amazing place today. They literally have any and everything you need, at fair prices. The place is packed to the ceiling with trains and accessories. Can’t wait to go back with my son.

Thor Renkin is a pleasant small business owner who sells unfinished rocking chairs and various bookshelf and cabinet items for your home. I buy all of my Lionel train set pieces from him always at a fair price. I come here from upatate New York (not the big city) twice a year to visit my veteran brother and have met some very nice people here in Murfreesboro. Thor stands out as an honest hard-working guy who loves life and people so much that it can be a challenge at times to focus on the purchases his customers intend to make. Yes, he is now a friend of mine and that can cause one to promp a favorable opinion of a business person. On the other hand, how many of us can say that we actually enjoy buying stuff from a friend? I would suggest a quick 'stop by' just to get acquainted. Be careful. It can become a habit!

Best place to buy wood furniture that will last a lifetime. Most furniture in my house is from here. First bought furniture here over 5 years ago for my daughter and it still strong and still looks great. The people who run this are so friendly. Just a great time every time I shop here.
