I have picky feet. They are narrow, especially in the heels, and the pain that my ballroom shoes caused me when they were tight enough to stay in place (but not really) was only outmatched by my love of dance. One of my dance instructors noticed the marks and blisters on my feet and let me borrow a pair of her shoes for a competition. They happened to be made by Dance Shoes of Tennessee. I have never danced better than I did that day when I wore shoes that moved with me instead of against me. They were narrows, and had been custom-made. I contacted them as soon as I could and made a point of visiting them on my way home from Alabama. I live in Texas. That is how desperate I was. The process was so smooth; John and Patsy knew exactly how to make sure a shoe would fit my foot correctly, down to the proper style of shoe, and when I got my shoes in the mail, I was so happy! These are more comfortable than most of the heels I own. My only regret is that I can't wear them everywhere. My dance partner and I won so many blue ribbons the next year that I lost count of them. I can honestly say that Dance Shoes of Tennessee made dancing fun for me again.
