Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill

Brady was the absolute best server we've had at a restaurant in several months. The crab cake was superb. The coffee cured filet was to die for. Great service, food and atmosphere.

I ordered the bistro chicken—it was hands down THE BEST chicken I have ever eaten! The lemon and caper sauce on the chicken was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent—our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. We had a party of 8 and each person in our party left with full bellies of delicious food. 10/10 recommend!

We came here last night for my brothers birthday dinner. The service was excellent, from the hostesses, to our server. The chips in the spinach dip were fresh and the dip was rich with spinach and cheese. My fiancés salmon was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The deviled eggs were excellent, unique taste compared to the ones I’ve had but in the best way. My brother loved his food, the steak was cooked to the temperature he asked for and the potato was tasty as well.

What a great place! This place is my favorite of the Cool Springs steakhouses and that says a lot because there are some excellent places nearby. Stoney pulled ahead with space and hospitality. The food was spot on and the service just made it great. Lobster Bisque was superb!

Nice moody environment. Fireplace and candles add to the ambiance. Perfect for date nights and celebrations. Bread (donut holes) were phenomenal and just different! I ordered the rib eye and my husband ordered the bistro chicken. Ribeye was tender and cooked to perfection. Our waiter Jason, was attentive and great! This place is very similar to some of our favorite high end restaurants at a fraction of the price. Will return.

The food was great, Randall was fantastic, and our dinner was even better with his excellent customer service! Sorry, I was hungry and ate the crab cake, which was delicious, before I took the pictures 😂🤦‍♀.

My new favorite place to go on date night! 🥰 The vibes are just unmatched. I enjoy getting dressed up to come here and seeing the well dressed staff. There is candle lighting on every table. I've had the Chicken Bistro (pictured) twice and it is phenomenal. The mashed potatoes are so garlicky and buttery and the mac 'n cheese has an aged cheese taste - YUM. Partner said the steak medallions were delicious but the crab cake was even better. Their sweet tea is my favorite!

Let me start by saying that we are from Utah and this was our first time here but, the food was amazing the steak was perfect, au gratin potatoes were great, loved the rolls and the roasted cauliflower was very good as well. The sweet tea was perfect, not too sweet just right in my opinion

The filet, baked tater, and salad was very tasty. Prepared perfectly. The deserts were also very nice. Our server, Nick, was tipped well - because he deserved it! Overall, money well spent!!

Everything including the bread and butter was packed with flavor. The service was wonderful. I recommend the center cut filet mignon with mac and cheese or the Bistro chicken. Absolutely delicious 😋

I've been wanting to come here, finally did. Vibe was cool, fancy, and cedar cabin feel. Staff was very friendly. We got seated right way, server was very friendly and informative. Shrimp cocktail was great! We loved it. I got the bone in ribeye, fries, and gouda mac. All great, steal cooked perfectly. I could eat my weight in the mac! Wife wanted the carrot cake. BIGGEST SLICE EVER! Was so good! We are excited to come back. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Stoney River Steakhouse in Franklin, TN. The restaurant is elegant and cozy, with a warm and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from steaks and seafood to salads and soups.

I ordered the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, with a delicious herb crust. The sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the lamb well, the brussel sprouts were also tasty and fresh.

My partner had a steak, which he loved. The shrimp were large and succulent, and the grits were creamy and cheesy. The dish had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, with a hint of bacon.

For dessert, we shared the carrot cake, which was huge and decadent. The cake was moist and soft, with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. The walnuts and raisins added some crunch and texture. It was the perfect way to end our meal.

We were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the service and ambiance. Stoney River Steakhouse is definitely one of the best restaurants in Franklin, TN. We will be back soon and recommend it to everyone. It deserves a five-star rating!

It was our 1st experience at Stoney River. We were very impressed with it. We had a party of 12. It's a big restaurant so they have plenty of areas for bigger parties. Also, they take reservations. Which a lot of restaurants don't do anymore. It is a little more expensive than some other casual dining restaurants, but to us, it was worth it. I had the 22oz bone-in ribeye and my wife and daughter both had the chicken bistro. We ordered the steak rolls and deviled eggs for appetizer. Everything was really good. My wife couldn't resist ordering a piece of the carrot cake to go. We live about 45 min away but will definitely take the time to go again.

Delicious!! We celebrated our 41st Anniversary with Stoney River recently! The service was wonderful! So courteous & timely. Our meal was delicious!! Everything was perfect!! My husband’s steak 🥩 was just as he ordered. I tried the flounder & it was perfect!! Delicious salad. They treated us to their chocolate cake to celebrate our Anniversary! Very kind. It’s so yummy!! We both enjoyed it tremendously! Great choice anytime! Visit them soon.

The complimentary cinnamon-flavored bread is amazing. The ribeye was very well done, as were both the garlic whipped potatoes and the au gratin potatoes

My middle child wanted to eat here for his 18th Birthday. A reservation for ten or eleven was placed. When we arrived shortly before our reservation time and was seated before time. It was as expected from a nice upscale establishment.

Steak was really good. Had mashed potatoes and broccoli as well. Fireplace was a nice warm touch. Service was outstanding, kept drinks refilled and food came out in a timely fashion. I had steak rolls as an appetizer and they were so good that I could have made that my meal by itself.

It was my husband's birthday so I thought we would come here. It was our first time. I had heard great things from some friends that love it here. It wasn't the best place I have had. But it could have been the food ordered. I had the steak biscuits. My husband had the chicken. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Place was great, food was awesome and the service exceptional! Will certainly go back.

I will add that the steaks were really salty though. I like salt and this was way to much for me. I suggest asking for them to go easy on the salt. The steaks were still great though! With that the wedge salad was awesome! The baked potato and roasted cauliflower was really good as well. Lastly the carrot cake was delicious!

Service was over the top! Our waitress and all the other staff did an outstanding job!

Been here a couple times over the past 10 years but for some reason, the last time rang true. Steak was absolutely insane and a very good price as well. See ice was impeccable and ambiance is always top notch
