Reeves-Sain Drug Store

So excited Reeves Sain Pharmacy/Soda Shoppe/ Gift Shop is open in our community again!! Have always loved them & missed them the past few years. Happy to have them serving our community again!! We went to try one of their famous milk shakes today!! Amazing so delicious!! Tasty Table is doing the Soda Shoppe for them now. Chicken salad & Egg salad sandwiches were delicious. Laura’s team does a great job!! The Write Impression provides the Gift Shop now. Everything in it is beautiful just like their original store on the square. Compounding pharmacy is available again. Medical equipment items are available. All your pharmacy needs in one place & more. So glad they are open again!!!

A Murfreesboo Tradition!
It was exciting to return to Reeves Sain after being closed for years! I was so anxious to see and visit the new shop. Reeves Sain is exclusively a Pharmacy now. They offer all Shots, Blood Pressure Checks and have private rooms for that. There is also a Sitting Area by the Pharmacy by the front entrance to wait for your prescriptions and drink a Milk Shake;) lol!

The Post Office isn’t open yet. Possibly next month. It will be nice to have another one available again.

They have hired a business that runs the restaurant area. Since I remember the delicious my friend and I tried something different. We opted for Banana Splits. (Our recommendation to the shop would be to get larger bowls for Banana Splits so the bananas are covered and not falling out. Also since you get to choose 3 Toppings use more of each so that it can be tasted.) I also tried the Fancy Grilled Cheese. It was good but would suggest more cheese for added flavor.)

Definitely get a Milk Shake especially if you have never had one. They are served in tall glass dishes but no longer include the extra in the cold metal/stainless steel mixer mixing cup.
The To-Go Milk Shakes are served in plastic clear cups.

They have also outsourced another company to handle the Gift Area. They don’t have as many items as previously. For instance there isn’t a baby, candle or large jewelry section as before. They have made the space roomier with new layout.

It’s nice and worth a visit! Try the Pharmacy! Try some Shakes, Yummy Desserts like Hummingbird Cake and Lunch Items! They have a variety of Gift Items that might meet your needs too. Go and Enjoy!

Just got strawberry milkshake from one the famous store in Murfreesboro….omg the taste that you feel is so different then any other milkshakes….

I called Reeves-Sain yesterday when my pharmacy and all others were on back order for my daughter's Adhd medicine. She had been without it for a couple days. Reeves-Sain had it in and filled it for me. Not only did they save the day but Kathy Bennett(the pharmacist) was so nice and helpful. She treated us like family and not just a number. Needless to say I transferred my scripts for me and my three daughters on the spot. I have found my pharmacy home and I get to help out a small local business. Wish I could give 10 stars!!!

The soda shoppe lives up to my memories of childhood. They were able to oblige my request for a caramel shake making me feel like a kid again. They're back!

I don't use the Pharmacy so can't comment on that, but the Soda Parlour is top notch! Great milkshakes and burgers, set in an adorable 50s theme diner. Good selection of gifts and novelties in the shop section. Friendly staff, all around a treasure in the Boro!
