David Parker Shoes

My podiatrist, Dr Jeffrey Mitchell, (see 5 star review!)recommended that I try a new type of walking/running shoe that would provide support and the maximum amount of cushioning on the market. I found them at David Parker Shoes in Cool Springs Galleria Mall.
David Parker Shoes has been in business there for over 25 years which says something about the quality of service and products they sell. We’ve purchased many pairs of shoes/boots from them from brands like Trask, Danska, and Most recently the Hoka Bendi 7 walking shoes. As a teacher, I was always on my feet walking and standing on hard concrete and tile floors for 7-8 hours a day! The store owner was able to help me find shoes that kept my feet comfortable all day. As I tried on the Hoka shoes today, I browsed through the store and was impressed with the inventory of stylish shoes and boots- dress, casual, running, hiking, sandals, etc. that they stock. If you care about your feet, knees, hips, and legs, you should visit the store and be fitted by people who know what they are doing and have years of experience to prove it. I already have my wishlist made for the holidays! Men’s and women’s shoes. FAMILY owned! SUPPORT independent businesses! BUY local!

Excellent customer service. They go the extra mile. After our first time in today, David's store reminds me of why it's nice to shop local and support family businesses. We'll be back and likely before I shop online. Great incentive program, brand selection, and we loved meeting the sweet dogs.

the greatest shoe store I've ever been too, the man there was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect shoe for me. the shoe was a bit pricey but it was worth the experience I had while there. they also have two really sweet dogs who just sit there and let you pet them

I couldn't remember the name of this store so I just looked them up to recommend them to a friend. I was surprised to see a few negative reviews. My wife has bought several pairs of shoes from David Parker Shoes over the past two or three years and I have one pair (so far). We've visited at least six times and have always been extremely impressed with their customer service. My wife had no problem returning one pair of shoes after wearing them around the house for two days and deciding that they hurt her feet. I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I were so impressed by the friendliness and wonderful service we received. They were extremely knowledgeable about the shoes they sell, which is very refreshing. They clearly take much pride in their work and business. They didn’t apply any unnecessary sales pressure the way some shoe stores do. We will definitely be back!

Loved the individual attention I received from the employees. I felt like I was being served by the owner instead of "just" hourly employees. So glad I was able to find shoes with excellent arch support. And any time I can buy from a locally-owned business, I'm super happy!

Love this place. I bought some papillo boots (super comfortable and have a large toe box). Staff is super kind, helpful, and generous with their time.

Jayme was helpful, friendly and made me feel at home. I think I'm going to love my Samuel Hubbards and will most likely just call and order another pair.
I love the dogs in the store, too..,got my shoe fix and canine fix all in the same place.

The customer service was impeccable. The focus was not on making a sale--but instead finding the right product for our needs. We were sent elsewhere for a certain kind of sock because that was more suitable to our needs.

Went to this store right before it closed and knew exactly what I wanted so I didn't take up too much time. The owners wife was working and I have never had such an amazing experience before!! She gave her full attention and stood ready to help me in any way she could. She helpEd me pick out my Birkenstock's (even if I did make her go in the back to check, what felt like 20 times). The most professional and incredible service. David Parker Shoes, you have yourself a forever client! Thank you!

Excellent customer service. David explained the different styles and brought multiple pairs out for me to try. I enjoyed the immediate comfort of the cloud and wore my purchase right from the store. I'll stop here again!

Owner is amazingly nice. I was in need of shoes again and came here a couple of days ago and got the same 5 star treatment. Left with 2 pairs of Ecco shoes. Owner is very honest and will not sell you something that is not right for you.

Excellent customer service from a local independent store. Huge selection, experienced staff, and they stand behind what they sell. Buying from an independent shoe dealer instead of a chain really makes a difference!

Several different name brand shoes that are all great walking and every day shoes. Built in orthotic shoe beds. Great selection. I'll go back to buy.

Our family collectively owns 5 pair of Birkenstock's and 2 pair of Chaco's all purchased from the knowledgeable sales staff at David Parker Shoes. They have a great selection and if they are not in stock they order for you immediately. We have high arches and narrow feet and these specialty shoes are great. No need for our custom orthotics in the shoes. I can get some of the same shoes from a chain store for the same price but I like the owners and employees and their personal attentiveness at DPS and will continue to purchase from them in the future!

Loved the customer service. It’s a very friendly environment with a great selection of shoes. I got a pair of Olukas shearling slippers. Best pair of slippers I’ve ever had.

I have bought shoes from here 2 times in the last few months, I purchased the Hoka's.
My Podiatrist sent me there because of foot pain and they all are well trained staff. Go check them out.
