Doctor Melanie Preston, DVM was amazing! Her professionalism, and compassion in treating my 15 year old Westie Bella was remarkable. Dr. Preston is a consummate professional ; exactly what Bella needs at her age.

I take my 2 cats and my elderly dachshund here and have for years. As long as Dr D’Annibale is still working there I will not being going anywhere else. Dr. D as well as the rest of the staff are so kind, compassionate and fantastic at what they do. They have comforted me in some hard times with my pets and they deserve 10 stars.

I just want to say, these people were a life saver for our pup. They are great and anyone that wants a good honest vet, go here. Its not about the money----its all about your pet !!!!

We have taken our animals (1 cat and 2 dogs) to them for years. Friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I can’t thank the vets (esp Dr D) and staff enough for treating us and our pets like family. Highly recommend

I called with a concern for my dog as a new patient at the office. They fit her in right away. They were all extremely compassionate and kind to her and me. Very grateful for their care. So glad we went and look forward to future care at the office for our girl.

I recently brought our male tabby in with a tail injury. The attending Vet was very patient with me in explaining why tail amputation was recommended.
This news was very hard for me to accept and I desperately wanted a different outcome.
Surgery is scheduled for Dec. 7th 😢

Love bringing my pomsky puppy to Dr. Preston and staff. He loves them and gets super excited to be back to his appointments. Love every little detail they do.

Good folks, caring indeed. Sometimes a bit pricey but it's like that at most places so it's a matter of who you choose. I do wish they had weekend and emergency clinic however, pets are like us they need care when they need it, ( that's the only draw back I see at this point).
To date happy here and with the vets and staff.

I found a new vet for my baby girl Sake. The vet tech and the doctor we're amazing. Love the way we're treated and explained everything that was going on. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this animal hospital to anybody.

I came here because of Dr. Melissa D’Annibale, who is the best veterinarian I have ever had care for my pets. I will keep coming back because the entire staff here is TRULY wonderful. It is a two hour round trip for me, and it is worth it. The love this team has for the pets they care for is palpable, and the respect, kindness, and patience that I have been shown is unforgettable. As someone who has spent a lot of time here lately, I can say that the experience just keeps getting better. Thank you for all of your amazing support through the small things and the big things. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else, and my kitties certainly love you all.

For those who have or would speak negatively due to the cost, please know that veterinary care is expensive, just as medical care is. These doctors have invested their education and lives into being able to care for and save the pets we love. That is no less valid than medical school, and they have bills and families too. The rates this practice charges are very standard, as are their policies. Protect yourself and your pets by investing in pet insurance, I promise that $20/month will save you someday from having to make impossible decisions.

Our boys love going to the vet here! They're very prompt, professional and I feel like they truly care. The only problem is getting my boy Jack to leave and go back to the car.

I love the techs and doctors here. They are so sweet to our Chloe and I don't have to worry if I am receiving good advice. Very professional staff and reasonable fees.

I have been going to KAH for about 2 years throughout COVID. They have a good system for curbside service. I brought my German Shepherd in very sick she was only 1 year old at the time and she wasn't eating or moving around. She had just finished her first heat. The vet quickly diagnosed her with pyometra. We got her scheduled for emergency surgery the very next morning. The vets and vet techs have a love for animals and are great at explaining everything to pet parents.

Best vet ever. The staff is always friendly. Communication is always easy and clear. They treat me and my dog with care and respect. Love love love this vet.

The doctors and staff are exceptional! They were amazing with our new kitten, Moonpie. They showed great care for her needs and were very loving and gentle with her! I knew she was in good hands. Also, the prices for their services are very good!

So far, highly recommend this vet office. Staff was very welcoming and great with my cat Sandy. My cat isn't cool with strangers and has to get to know humans first. She's not much for other people and tries to run almost immediately. Techs here were so patient with her and kept her calm the whole visit. They listened to concerns I had and came up with a few strategies to try out that hopefully work. Staff was kind, knowledgeable and showed a lot of compassion too. Definitely going to stick with this practice for ALL my cats care.

Knightdale Animal Hospital is the best place I have ever been to take care of my babies. Everyone who works there is so kind and caring towards everyone's pets. The staff is honest, transparent, and answer questions that you have. Pricing is actually affordable. My dogs feel comfortable (as much as they can) going there. It took me years to find an amazing place like Knightdale Animal Hospital!

Knightdale animal hospital is amazing!!! My dogs needed their nails trimmed and they hate their nails being touched. I was very nervous about their appointment but they did such an amazing job with both my huge dogs!! I have a rottweiler and a pitbull mix. I expressed my concerns and they assured me that they would take great care of my boys.

They also got rabies shots. The pricing was very very reasonable compared to other places I was looking at that was going to charge me $145!

Thank you very much Knightdale Animal Hospital! The staff was also extremely friendly. Everything was super smooth and quick. I will definitely be returning.
