Knightdale Environmental Park

A nice little stop in Raleigh to take walks, relax and enjoy nature. All outdoors. It has a play stop for the children. And overall is quite immersive.

This was a beautiful park when I was younger and it's still a beautiful park now. It looks a little barren but that could just be because we're heading into fall and it's so hot outside.

We absolutely love this place. If you get out there early in the morning with some watermelon or strawberries, toss them in small chunks from the dock, and you might get to see one massive snapping turtle.

Nice little park to walk around in.

Always a relaxing time coming here. I love to walk around the park a few times to recharge after a long work week.

It's a small park next to the library. It's very quiet, secluded, and has a picnic area. There is no bathroom or playground and it's dog friendly.😀

Pretty chill place. Small but it was nice and serene.

It's safe and quiet .... peaceful place to fish... even thou i only caught 1 small bass... lol had lots of other bites but nothing stayed on .. to small im guessing.... sadly... but over all... want a bad spot to take small kids to teach them to fish or let them walk the trail around pond with ya and relax...

Quiet. Lowkey space to take a short walk. We did my daughter's birthday pictures here. Sometimes when I take my kids to the library we go across the parking lot to do a short nature walk. I do notice that they have picnic tables and a charcoal grill area. It's never crowded here.

Great place for peaceful walk.

Beautiful park if you're looking for a quick nature walk. I like to take my kids here after we hit the library. Plenty of turtles and frogs to see, and a nice walk that the kids can handle. The path is paved so could be a good running spot.

Very nice to walk around and grill

This is a super cute little park, definitely a hidden gem in knightdale. There is no playground but there are plenty of trails, trees, water with turtles, picnic tables, benches, and even a built in cornhole toss. It is quite secluded from the hustle and bustle of town, nice and quiet. Great for birdwatching, going for a walk, or just relaxing in nature.

As far as a park goes, it's not a place to take kids and play. However, it is a great location for a walk and nature sightseeing. There is small pond with a couple of benches and a bridge. I used this park as a location for a family photography shoot. It has a great variety of photography locations.

Nice shady place to walk w the kids. They love to feed stale bread to the turtles. It's a shame they've let the pond grow over to almost non existence near the deck area and you can't see the fish and turtles like before.

The environment is great go out and have fun

Lovely little park with a trail system around a pond that's just under a mile, shaded, and has several nice spots to stop and rest. Quite the hidden gem. Also, turtles.

It’s a hidden gem and a great place for a walk. It’s mostly shade so it’s especially good in the summer.

Bring bread to feed fish and turtles!
