We really enjoyed this part of the neuse river trail (Riverview entrance). Beautiful scenery, dog and bike friendly, and, best of all, a clean rest area for a bathroom break.

Great for road biking! Biked from Falls Lake Dam to Horseshoe Farm. It was about 8 miles and extremely pleasant, mostly flat. The scenery is really lovely and we saw so much wildlife! We saw turtles, lizards, bunnies, deer, cardinals, herons, doves, and robins, and even a few snakes! And this was midday. Plus all the trees make this squirrel paradise. It wasn’t crowded at all, though we went on a Friday, and parking is plentiful. I expect it would be packed on the weekend. Bottom line: Highly recommend for road biking. Friendly to all levels/desired distances (you can bike much further than we did). Lots of nice stopping points and benches. Bathrooms and water fountains at several points. There is even a bike rental place by the dam.

34 miles of paved, well kept biking and hiking trail. It doesn't matter if you're riding or walking. Either way you're going to have a good time with some great views. Benches every so often to rest and river access as well.

This is a very, very nice trail. It is well-maintained with several paths to take. The access to the river makes for great shots.

I didn't explore all of it but it definitely a popular trail for bikers, runners, scooters, and just strolling through nature. My group had a great time experimenting with different photos shots & poses using the elements of the trail. We also saw a few hares along the way - so cute!

We're on a biking vacation and spending time searching out these bike green ways. what a beautiful trail this is, clean, NO road crossings and well used throughout neighborhoods is runs through. We'll be back to explore spur trails off the Neuse. Helmets off to those who maintain this great trail.

Somehow I had no idea this beautiful ~27 mile trail existed until recently. Really nice, mostly flat trail perfect for biking, jogging or walking. Also popular for dropping kayaks / canoes to explore the Neuse River. Very scenic and pleasant trail that is definitely worth exploring.

Absolutely gorgeous walk! The paths are are easy to follow with path signs to point you in which ever adventure you want. Great for walking, biking, hiking, and fishing. I will definitely have to come back because the trails have a bit of length to it when walking. I'll be back for more!

This is a wonderful Park with miles and miles a paved trails. I love this place immensely. Great for bikers, great for walkers and like hikers, great fur serenity and a great view of the Neuse River. For those looking for a great place to exercise and drop those pounds I would suggest trying just Trail.

Wonderful paved trail. Due to heavy rains some sections were closed but still managed. RT of 18 Mike's (biking). We come here from Charlotte a couple times a year.

Very nice road trail with some cutoff to off-road trails. If you ride the trail normally on road, and start near Anderson point; it's about 10 mi until you get to fields for miles. Great trail to cruise and walk. Would recommend

Absolutely beautiful Greenway that is well-maintained. Perfect for going for an afternoon bike ride or for a walk. A lot of benches along the way and many shaded areas. Not too many hills. Plenty of room to pass. This is a 10 out of 10 for me!

So much beauty and comfort !! The sounds, the escape. Fitness in the beauty of the outdoors.

Great picnic site!

You can hike or swim. Though the current creates a sort of swimming treadmill.

Not to mention a FREE perk of NC!

The trail has some hills that you will need to walk your bike up if you’re biking. Its got good portions of flat ground though. I do like that it has a painted center line, it helps with teaching your kids to stay to the right while riding. It does however have some steep hills that can be dangerous depending on how small your kid is so be careful. I like the bridges though, they help change up the scenery. Also its not as shaded as most of the other trails we have been on in NC
