Came here for a graduation cookout and I was truly surprised. It an absolutely huge space to host an outdoor event with family and friends. It’s off by itself but not to far that if you need assistance that it would take to long so I loved that. It has a nice play area for kids, a nice bike/hike trail for bikers, runners, and walkers. It’s a nice area for a date or picnic 😊. I think you’d be very pleased to visit this outdoor space .

This is a big park off I-87 in Raleigh. It has lots of parking a greenway walking track a covered picnic area with lots of tables good for a party or gathering, restrooms with drinking fountains a big grassed area for playing games. I didn't walk all the way around but it seemed like a long walking track. There are boom gates across the entry road so it might be closed after hours you would need to check. Worth a visit especially if you have a dog that needs a good walk.

I ride past this place, and it's nice to have restrooms and a shaded picnic area on the trail. Another huge bonus is the full set of bike tools and repair stand available for use just off the trail near the restrooms and picnic area. I haven't had to use them, but it's great to know a real bike pump and basic tools are available in case I ever need them.

Beautiful place.
Went to shoot a few photos but got rained out.
It's a great place to get away from town without leaving town.

It is a nice park to have a walk yourself or with your dog. But parking is too small for a big park, so we had to park on second parking which is a bit distance from the main parking,

We really enjoyed this park and wished we knew about it sooner! There is a great playground for kids complete with slides on the hill which is a cool feature. There are also a bunch of walking/bike trails to explore and covered picnic shelters that would be perfect to host a party at.

Wonderful little park with a large open grassy field, multiple covered gathering spaces, and I nice little playground. This park is fantastic for bird watching, and also acts as a hub for multiple greenway paths.
