Mermaid Charters Key West

Capt. Mike was great. My wife and I took 4 kids under 7 out to the island and it was the best part of our week long trip to Key West. They had a blast. Smooth ride and lots of fun. Kids had a blast on the splash pad and we saw a lot of sting rays. Capt. Mike is great and he accommodated all the kids.

My wife and I went to key west for our anniversary. We wanted to do a boat trip but didn’t want all of the people and everything else to come with it. We found mermaid charters and do a half day trip to Boca Grande. Capt mike and the boat were phenomenal. Such a great experience and a very special way place. If you see this review don’t think twice and just book it!

I decided to do a last min adjustment to my Proposal plans as the spot I was planning on originally was closed , I called Tammy up and she helped put together a surprise sunset cruise for my friends and I where I popped the question as the sunset with Dolphins in the background. i could not have imagined it any better in my head. They had my personal choice of champagne, shrimp cocktail a meat board and we could BYOB. This is a grade A operation and a must do whenever in Key West. Thanks for the great experience!

We had a wonderful time with Capt. Mike on Mermaid Charters. We were able to do a snorkeling trip AND a sandbar trip in one day. Very professional and accommodating. Will definitely be booking again!

Mike is great. We just wanted to cruise around the island and he did a great job of showing us interesting places, hot spots, and cool key west locations.

We did the 4 hour sandbar day yesterday. Capt Mike was incredible. The boat is 30 feet long with twin engines. The ride was incredibly smooth out to the sandbar and he was an awesome captain. Pick up and drop off for the day was easy and convenient. I cannot recommend this enough.

Cannot say enough good things about Mike and his crew! They took us out for lunch, sightseeing and a little sandbar time!! Cannot wait to come back and use them again! Thank you for a great day and a fabulous experience!

We had a fantastic experience with Mermaid Charters. Scheduling was easy and they provide all sorts of extras during your charter-chairs, paddle boards, large floating raft. The island we went to was beautiful and Mike is an excellent captain. You really get a secure feeling with him at the wheel. Can't say enough about how wonderful our boat outing was. If your are thinking about going on a charter while in Key West, this is definitely the one to pick!!

I joined a large group of friends on a trip to Key West and was lucky to accompany them on a sandbar excursion to Mud Key. We were on 3 separate boats and had an incredible experience. Tammy and the boat captains made sure every need was met. They provided beach chairs, rafts, and floating chairs to enjoy during our time on the island, took pictures for us, and laid out our appetizers and coolers! It was an awesome day (despite the rain) and I would definitely recommend Mermaid Charters for any occasion!

Wow!! Where do I start? I could start this review by saying how impeccable the service and professionalism is with this charter company! But I put my emphasis on how humble and awesome captain Michael and his wife are! We stayed seven days in key west, and our time with Mermaid charters was the highlight of our time in florida!!Captain Michael showed us around all of the small deserted islands in the coastal keys and it was awesome! If you want to see the real Key West and all it has to offer just give these guys a call! Will not be disappointed!

Mike is an excellent charter captain. He knows the area very well and is a very careful and conscientious captain. We felt very safe in his beautiful vessel. Highly recommend Mermaid Charters....fun time!

Very friendly and accommodating. Answered all my questions and was very communicative. Sadly it was raining and there was lightning on the day were supposed to go out and they were so accommodating and they suggested we cancel and there would be no penalty due to the weather as they wanted us to have a good time and be safe. I’ll definitely use them next time I’m out here in key west.
