Rams Head Southernmost

Stumbled across this bar and ended up having the best margaritas I have ever had. Bartender Michelle was incredible. Super quick and responsive. She made great recommendations on food, especially the crab dip. She hands down makes the best margaritas! We ended up coming back there with friends to enjoy it more of them, and found she also makes an incredible Bloody Mary. The whole bar area was packed but she managed it well. The ambiance of the outdoor area was exactly what we were looking for, with colorful signs, swings, and outdoor games! We will be back again next time we visit key west.

A staple in Key West if you’re looking for the best Bloody Mary in town! We came for the Song Writer’s fest and had a blast. Music was great! Sitting outside under the canopy and trees was delightful. Great service too!

This is a great restaurant that the whole family enjoys! We love the atmosphere and great service. We enjoy the brick patio with outdoor seating. We go mid afternoon when it is not as busy. Nice selection of satisfying kids meals and fun yard games in the back for when they get restless. Kids meals have drinks included which is a plus for a large family.

Southernmost Salad is amazing. Definitely add the chicken as it takes the salad to the next level!

Great food, nice location.
Interesting detail, they have water bottles at each table labelled as chicken repellent. To chase away free running chickens that get too close.
Also the Key Lime Pie is very delicious there.

Amazing experience! Our server was fantastic. The food was sooo good and I was able to easily get gluten free options. The drinks were really good. And there were so many roosters and chickens! We could have easily stayed for hours.

Great service, food, and drinks. Make sure to grab some chicken repellent, but they're pretty friendly.

We went here for dinner, gabbed some shrimp and fish tacos. Hit the spot. Very casual atmosphere and yes the Chickens were all around. Super friendly service.

Recently went on my 1st cruise and we stopped in Key West. When we got off the ship we saw a Pedi-cab driver and told him to take us somewhere with great bloody marys; he made a great recommendation and brought us to Rams Head. We sat in the very back patio and it was gorgeous, and very laid back. Gretchen was our server/bartender and she was amazing! The bloody mary was delicious and the food phenomenal. I will definitely go back.

Authentic Island experience, live music and games galore!

We had a delicious lunch of fish tacos and all I can say was they were some of the most delicious tacos I have ever had! Portions were huge and the service was great. We were seated on the patio at first, but after walking in the hot Key West sun, I wanted AC. A glass of bubbly for me and a cool cocktail for my daughter was all we needed to start our meal. Our waitress was as sweet as she could be and kept us laughing. I'd go back to this restaurant again and again. I highly recommend it. The decor is so pretty.

What a nice tucked away place in Key West! We were brought to this location by Whiskey Rick Humboldt, a local tour guide. We enjoyed some drinks during their Happy Hour...a Cat 5 Ale and a Key Lime Margherita. The atmosphere is amazing with a live music, casual, Tiki vibe. While we didn't try the food, we are coming back before we leave. Service was amazing and just a lot of fun.

It was our last stop in Key West... great ambience even though it wasn't too busy considering it was a Tuesday evening. There was Live music playing as well.

This review is long overdue! My wife and I have been going to Rams Head for 7 years. It is, by far, the location in Old Town that we visit most frequently when vacationing in Key West. Open air setting covered from rain, prompt and friendly service, live music many hours of the day and every day of the week (at least when we’re there both on and off season). Generous happy hour offers. Generally not super-busy because it is a block off Duval. Convenient location just a block away from the Hemingway House (yes, go there too!). Highly recommend and we’ll probably see you there!

We really enjoyed the fish & shrimp! Great variety of options! Our server was so sweet! Our kiddos got a kick out of the chicken repellent. Great place for dinner!

The food was delicious! I had the sesame crusted tuna, My husband had the fish and chips. Our server was extremely nice. We enjoyed watching the chickens and the roosters walk around. Lol

2924 updste: There were 5 of us, and we each had great meals. My Cuban sandwich was on point with crispy bread and nice flavorful insides. Everyone else had food ranging from burgers to flatbread sandwiches. Servings were large, and the service was great. There's always live music as well. 2023: Great food, great service. They also have a squirt bottle filled with water if the Key West chickens get too underfoot.

Another great place for Happy Hour if you can take advantage of that! We had the crabby tot apple- definitely a big portion! It was ok- I had the salad with catch of day- it was very good! Hubs had fish tacos - plenty of other tasty options!
There was live music, and the place had a rustic charm outside.
I tried a Bloody Mary- they have a huge variety, including building your own.

It was a lovely day in KW, so we decided to have lunch at Ramshead. The hostess was accommodating to where we wanted to sit! The Roosters were walking around (keywest charm). Our server was a nice gentleman who was friendly , with prompt service. Tey The Bloody Mary Bar, We had a really good watermelon/tomatoes salad topped with grilled chicken was mine. My Hubby had the same but topped with a Maryland crabcake and the stuffed avacodos, which he said was very good. The food was fresh and delicious! I love the game yard, and the Merch store has a variety of items and sizes. Always a good stop! I recommend Ramshead!

We came here because you can make your own Bloody Mary, they gave us a cup with ice and vodka and you can dress it however you want. The prices are fair, the food portions were pretty big and obviously the drink was our favorite part. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is clean and there is little chickens roaming around. It is an open restaurant so keep that in mind.

Came on a Sunday morning and had brunch here. We had Annapolis Benedict and The Croissant sandwich. Both meals were beautiful and delicious- even the home fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will be back again for sure. Cozy bar as well 😀
