Harris Teeter

This store is always clean and uncluttered, no matter what time you shop there. My favorite department is the deli area where the Sushi and Poke’ are created FRESH daily. The gentleman who handles this delicate product creates the Very Best in Virginia Beach.

Regular shopper here. Produce is always fresh. Good cheese selection. Fresh house made salsa is excellent. If you need something and they don’t have it ask and they will order it. They carry our favorite coffee creamer. Great beer & wine selection. Pay attention to the prices - you can find some things cheaper elsewhere. Super clean inside.

Harris Teeter's sub shop is a true standout. Their sandwiches boast a level of quality and variety that's hard to beat - every bite bursts with fresh, flavorful ingredients. I'm used to the Harris Teeter at the oceanfront. The Plaza store is much bigger and better stocked.

Great check out service! Helpful and polite. Great deals on Steaks etc! Tyler is always a nice polite young man. He is pleasant..helpful etc..The plant lady was great. Nice Friendly..I enjoy my shopping experience at Harris Teeter! I have been a customer for at least 25 Years!

This is the second time I've been to this Harris Teeter and it's fantastic! I've only used the deli and the pizza kitchen at this location but the Boar's Head subs are fantastic and absolutely filled to the brim! The Boar's Head Roast beef is some of the best I've ever had! I just got one of their Monday Pizza specials at the pizza kitchen and the Margarita pizza is loaded with yummy sauce and cheese and rounded off nicely with juicy slices of tomato and fragrant basil!

I will certainly be coming back for some more of their fresh eats!

Extremely clean, organized, and stocked better than the others. This is the ONLY place I can find Fordhook Lima beans (yeah, I know). There meat is fresh. Prices for some things are higher but their sales make up for it. Their beer section is stellar! Staff is limited but very friendly. Sorry folks....they have security. You'll have to pay like the rest of us😆

I come here a ton! I know you all have hired a bunch of newbies for summer and that can be rough! There was a young man today with curly long-ish hair that literally greeted and acknowledged every customer he came in contact with with a very positive and upbeat demeanor. He was pushing carts in the heat with a smile on his face and offered to help a customer outside. Not sure of his name but his face is new. He really stuck out! I hope his attitude sets a good example for all the young people working there his age. His hustle truly shows. Please recognize this guy🤙🙏🌞

There's also a really tall lady with short hair at the self checkout usually. I think she is a manager. She is alwaaays hustling and I can tell she cares about doing her job well.

Ya'll have some hard workers there and I hope they get praise ❤

The pharmacists here - Tony and Gloryers - always put us first. You can tell they are the most heart-felt people when you interact with them. These pharmacists are the best!

I was having a hard day and I ended up leaving my ID at the Pharmacy, and Tony called me twice and left messages to let me know he found it and left it with customer service. I love these pharmacists for always making me feel better. They are medicine in themselves and a testament to a smile making every day better. Thank you 🙏

Ive been to numerous grocery stores , but something about herris teeter makes it feel like a journey , id live in this store if there was an apocalypse literally. The atmosphere makes shopping fun

A little pricier than some but great selection and very clean!

The staff here is always excellent, and the selections are wonderful! Whether online pickup or going inside, never a disappointment! Recommend in-store shopping fir the great deals you can just stumble across that really round out your shopping list! Extra kudos to the curbside pickup teams, always a pleasure to work with!

Found things buy2 get3free! Was only looking for one, but am now stocked up! Love walking out with 10 bags full for under $100!

I've always been happy to shop at Harris Teeter. I've taken advantage of double coupons when they've been available. Store has large selection of items, both food and non-food items. Very pleased with staff, always very helpful with finding specific items. Cashiers have been extremely friendly & kind. Very clean store. A positive experience

This store is always above par as far as grocery stores go. All the staff are friendly and say hi as you walk by. If you are looking a bit confused, staff recognize and come to you to ask what they can help you with. On several different occasions when I've stopped an employee to ask where an item could be they have walked me to the correct location and have asked me if there was anything else on my list that they could help me find. That's outstanding customer service and it's multiple people, going above and beyond for Harris Teeters customers. Thank you!

I love this grocery store - they have so much here it takes a while to look at everything. I have been here 3 times since being in Va Beach for business, and I have encountered so many helpful and friendly people. I got 2 slices of pizza today and the man warmed them up in the pizza oven before giving them to me in boxes. The cashiers up front are helpful and friendly. I really appreciate the level of service I get here. If I move back to Virginia Beach I won't go anywhere other than this Harris Teeter location.

Best tuna sub from the deli!! Dug some of the bread out( just ask, they will) and don't forget the banana peppers and pickels!! No pic but it was delish😋!!!

I like going into out of state grocery stores. This one is fabulous.
