Honest Eco

My husband and I were in Key West for our honeymoon and we chose Honest Eco because they offered plastic free water bottles and organic snacks! 2 days before our trip the captain had to cancel due to personal reasons, but Honest Eco offered a different day trip. We had other things planned and could not make a different day. Honest Eco then suggested we could upgrade to the smaller boat, but we had to decline. Honest Eco called offering to upgrade us for free and we were blown away!
Andrew was our captain and he did great bringing us around to see the dolphins, snorkel spots, then to a sand bar to float and eat some fruit. It was a great day and we are beyond grateful for the hospitality received from Honest Eco. Highly recommend!

I forgot to mention we had trouble with the booking and booked weeks before our trip and Honest Eco made it so easy to change our reservation. We originally booked through a third party and they suggested booking directly through them which gave us a little discount.

This was a Really fun thing we did in KEY WEST! It was a cloudy day, with possible storms...our captain Shawn and mate Haddon were ready to show us the best time they could. The trip was so beautiful...the water was warm and choppy, but clear, and we saw many colorful fish. We saw dolphins, and had delicious snacks...fresh fruit, hummus, veggies and water in our metal Honest Eco cups that we got to keep! I enjoyed every minute of our 4 hour trip. There was an amazing rainstorm that our captain skillfully piloted us through! I would recommend this trip, and we are looking forward to going again!

10/10! Me and my friends went on the “all the above” tour and it was the best experience ever! I live in the keys and have been to other snorkeling tours, but this one is outstanding! Nice boat ride with dolphin watch and learning about the Florida keys biology, then kayaking guided tour in the mangroves with the great Hadden that had so much knowledge and interesting facts. Then snorkeling with captain Matt that showed us a huge Goliath grouper, big sting rays, lots of colorful fish and even a shark! The amazing organic lunch was delicious! Would definitely recommend and do it again! Thank you so much Honest Eco Tours, Matt and Hadden for such a great experience!

We communicated with Abby for our booking and Andrew was the captain of our private dolphin watch / snorkel trip! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable of all wildlife and we found dolphins almost immediately. We also saw a Goliath grouper, permit, barracuda, a shark that was off a ways, many other fish, and some coral!

I highly recommend Honest Eco! Water was provided and so was fresh fruit that the boat captain cut up for us while we were in the water. Ask for Andrew if you can!

My husband and I booked their Snorkel and Sunset Sail for August 26, 2022 (I know I’m late) but wow - what an absolutely incredible experience. Rachel and the captain ensured our time with them was well spent, educational and fun! We were a mixture of ages, and every single person in our party enjoyed our time with them.
Our catamaran team were professional, experienced, genuine and were very proud + passionate about what they do. Rachel also made sure to capture as many memories as possible for us.
I absolutely recommend booking them for any of your adventures. We will be returning to this business every time we visit Key West.

We had an AMAZING day on a private charter with Andy. We saw dolphins, all kinds of fish, sharks, and even a lagerhead turtle! I would 100% recommend this company to anyone. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

We booked the dolphin sunset tour. We had a great experience. Haden was a fount of information about the Key West dolphins. Captain Nick put us right on the dolphins and both were excellent hosts. After the dolphins they pulled the sails on Blue Q and away we silently went to watch the sun set over Key West. I would highly recommend anyone interested in the natural aspects of the Key West marine environment take any Honest Eco tour.

Great experience. We did 4 hours at 9 am. tour and was great. We saw dolphins and turtles. We enjoyed snorkeling. We got fresh veggies and fruit snacks on the boat. We enjoyed catching sun tan on the top of the boat and learning about Key West and the water life.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on the ECO tour. I live in Key West and I feel like I'm so glad I discovered this option for getting out on the water. We really appreciated the knowledge of the crew on the wildlife, as well as the sustainable materials used for lunch and snacks. They serve all organic foods from Date and Thyme! We were able to see dolphins, snorkel, and kayak and it was a perfect day on the water. Thank you to all that showed us a great time!

We had an amazing experience doing the 4 hour snorkeling+dolphin watch tour on Squid. We saw tons of wildlife snorkeling on the coral reef including sharks and stingrays! after snorkeling we followed a small group of dolphins and watched them play before heading back to the harbor. The organic fruits and veggies were great to have on board. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely recommend and would book again if we make it back to the Keys!

This trip was amazing. The boat is comfortable and perfect for enjoying the water. We got to see and learn about dolphins as well as other sea life and history of the keys! We got to swim even in the cooler water with the much appreciated wet suits. They were also very accommodating of our little ones. Snacks and service was top notch. Can’t say enough about Honest Eco! Plan to go again next trip to key west!

We’ve tried the major water sport companies in the area, but Honest Eco was the best. Go if you want small group size, fresh snacks, lots of info and lots of jokes, and the bio perspective. They are cognizant of the marine life and ecosystem, definitely in the forefront. Dolphins came right up to the boat SEVERAL TIMES. Way to go guys, we loved it. Maybe capt sean will sound the conch if you ask 🐚

Libbey and Brian were great! Wasn’t sure what to expect considering HonestEco isn’t in the top results of google searches. We picked them based on a you tube channel recommendation. We weren’t disappointed. I’m so glad we went with the small group tour that allowed us to ask lots of questions and really learn about the Keys eco system.

Right off they offered us ice cold water in reusable waters along with healthy snacks. Both of the crew members were efficient and knowledgeable. We snorkeled with the other 12 on the tour, kayaked as a group, and had a great encounter with a party of dolphins. They fed us a great lunch with more snacks after kayaking. I can’t recommend them enough! It was a fantastic day.

What an awesome tour. The whole family enjoyed a morning out in the water with honest eco. The boat and staff were top-notch. They made the trip fun and educational. Snorkeling was great, and we got to see dolphins. I would highly recommend honest eco far anyone wanted a great experience out on the water while in key west.

Over the last three years I have attempted to go on your tour but the first two were ruined by covid. Today was worth the wait! Captain Matt and first mate Hadden were fantastic, professional, helpful and interactive! And the food was excellent! The boat was nice with everything one could need! Even had a USB port to charge from!
Would recommend your service to anyone wanting a once in a lifetime experience!

Fabulous morning out with Honest Eco tours. Weather was sublime, we saw a group of over 15 dolphins and did some great snorkeling and saw heaps of fish! The equipment was in excellent condition, the organic snacks were utterly delicious and super fresh, and our captain and boat mate were charming and great fun. It’s definitely better to pay a little more and go with less people, cleaner masks and snorkels and avoid the more crowded boats!

Honest Eco Tours was phenomenal. Highly recommend. The captain and crew were professional, very knowledgeable and had a friendly laid back demeanor. They served fresh fruit and plated it like a professional catering service. My fiancée and I definitely came across a pod of dolphins that came right up to the boat. The price was good as well and I'd think any couple,family or individual would enjoy it. Very peaceful as well with only the sound of the ocean and the knowledgeable staff sharing their ecosystem expertise

We had a fabulous time. The guide Eric is a marine biologist. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic as well as friendly and encouraging. The team are well connected to other companies who share locations of the dolphins and we saw a large 'pod' (we were informed they are not called a pod in this area!) Having Eric snorkel with us meant we knew what we were seeing and this really added to the experience. There were only 7 people on our trip so there was plenty of time to ask questions. Brian the skipper was friendly and approachable too and recommended some good places to eat. This is an ethical company committed to the dolphins and eco system. They support local schools with educational trips and are part of a dolphin research project. We would definitely highly recommend.

The 6 hour trip was terrific. We were treated to Dolphin watching, snorkeling, and kayaking. Our lunch items were excellent and plentiful.
Our crew was extremely professional,attentive. and fulfilled our every need.
Our snorkeling spot was teaming with a large list of fish species along with a very healthy coral reef. Please make Honest Eco tours a bucket list item when in Keywest.

My wife and I had an excellent experience on the dolphin watching + snorkeling experience aboard The Squid with Captain Sean and Guide Bryan! We have a small amount of prior snorkeling experience, but are not exactly experts and both felt our safety was in excellent hands. Even more important to us, the selling point of an eco-tour actually FROM biologists was incredibly accurate. Our crew clearly was incredibly knowledgeable about the ecology and behavior of all the species we saw, and every question we had was answered fully and jovially by the crew. We saw several dolphins, barracuda, southern stingrays, and many other species of marine life. We will 100% take other tours from Honest Eco in the future and cannot recommend them enough!
