We stayed in the Explorer Cabins and this was by FAR our favorite stay during our trip across the Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier! The staff members were SO kind and helpful, and the cabin was PERFECT! It was so clean, modern, and included more amenities than we could've thought to ask for! The walking stick, binoculars, lanterns, and Yellowstone books were such nice touches! The complimentary laundry was a lifesaver. We LOVED drinking wine on our cabin's rooftop. We also saw NINE elk up CLOSE from our front porch, so that was awesome too! The location was PERFECT and allowed us to experience the charming city of Gardiner. They also have a hot tub, game room, fire pits, and a pool so it would be perfect for kids/families! We cannot recommend this place enough!

Definitely the right place to stay! The rooms are very clean. Don’t be misled by the somewhat dated appearance on the outside. It was amazing to sit by a fire, roasting complimentary s’mores, right next to the river. Elk wander through the parking lot. We got a double queen room for our family of six, two kids camped out on the floor (plenty of room for them and the staff were happy to supply us with extra blankets). We arrived too late to check out the pool on our stay. Staff is super friendly. 100% worth it to get a room with a view of the river - the view is stunning!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel nicely located on Gardiner (North entrance to Yellowstone) with a river view and a seating area with a fireplace to continue enjoying the outdoor after the sun sets. The town is small so this hotel is close within walking distance to everithing. Rooms are spacious, and the facilities are well maintained. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, and marshmallows for the fireplace. You can also borrow bicycles, binoculars, and hiking sticks. Recommended

This hotel is great and the staff is amazing. Cindy was incredibly kind and accommodating for my situation of driving my son here for a seasonal job and then flying home by myself. I truly appreciate her and this hotel. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. It’s close to everything with a beautiful view!

This is a perfect hotel. The cabins are nicely appointed with everything you need.
The king size bed was was like sleeping on a cloud. Each cabin has a upper deck where you can watch the sunset over the mountains. The staff were all friendly. The outdoor firepit is a special spot to do smores, which are provided. Definitely a great place to stay when exploring Yellowstone.

The Ridgeline Hotel is unusual. It is made up of several buildings; the one I was in is right on the edge of the property perched above the Yellowstone River. I was on the first floor, which is beneath the front of the building - you have to take a set of stairs down to the back of the building overlooking the river. Ask for these rooms , they have the best view in the hotel! The room itself was clean and spacious. They had a walking stick and binoculars in the room to borrow for the day free of charge. The wi-fi worked well. There is also a restaurant on-site. Try the bison meatloaf, it was tasty. And it's literally just down the street from the northern entrance to Yellowstone!

What an amazing spot! We stayed at the cabins and they were so nice and comfortable. Super quiet and everything's brand new. The drive to the hot springs is only 5 min away. The hotel was super clean going to the pools and hot tub. The hot tub was clean and wonderful. So close to Yellowstone also!

This place is a gem. We came in winter, it was clean, the staff were so kind and helpful, they had a gas fire outside near the office, provided s'mores packets for the kids, a walking stick and binoculars in the room, a game room with free air hockey, an indoor swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. The kids loved this place, and so did we. Thank you for a very special first visit to Yellowstone!

Recently stayed at this hotel for 2 night in May 2024
Front desk staff was great! Very helpful allowing us to check in early and give suggestions for the area

The outdoor fireplace was wonderful for those chilly May evenings.
We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub/ indoor pool
and we’re surprised how fun the game room was (free use of air hockey, Xboxes, ping pong table and a pinball machine)

The hotel even provides use of a walking stick, binoculars, free s’mores kits and free laundry during your stay.
Would highly recommend

We are repeat customers of the Ridgeline. The rooms are clean with great views and beds are the most comfortable. The service is professional and accommodating and exceptionally friendly. The smores at the fireside are a nice touch. The Rail Restaurant is convenient and food delicious.

We had a great river view though we are mostly not in the room .
The operations manager Kyla is very efficient and forthcoming
Cindy at the front desk also was great
They are a little understaffed at this time of the year
But it was a great experience with your facility

Our stay in one of the cabins at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the real highlight was the breathtaking rooftop balcony, which offered stunning sunsets and the opportunity to observe wildlife. Armed with binoculars, we spotted elk, bison, and antelope right from the rooftop.

The hotel's amenities were top-notch, with an on-site bar/restaurant, a refreshing pool, a relaxing hot tub, an arcade for some indoor fun, complimentary laundry facilities, inviting fire pits, outdoor yard games, and easy access to Yellowstone National Park. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always wearing smiles on their faces.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again; it was an exceptional experience in every way.

The hotel was easy to find and located close to the Yellowstone entrance, which is a plus. Check-in was quick, and the staff was friendly. Our room was clean and ready for our arrival. Breakfast was not offered, but we knew that ahead of time and had prepared for breakfast in advance. There were some nice amenities available, but we were too tired after traveling to take advantage of any of them. A plus was the view outside of our room. Waking up and walking outside to see several elk on the mountain across the parking lot was the perfect way to start our day.

Our kids absolutely loved this hotel because they have a game room, pool, and offered s'mores around the fire in the evening. They also offered bicycles to ride for free.

This place was amazing for my vacation stay! Not sure if the buildings are new or remodeled but they were very nice! The customer service was great! Everyone was friendly and were caring. The views were amazing as well! They have breakfast in the morning sadly it's not complimentary but it is all you can eat and they serve dinner as well. They also have an awesome pool area with a air hockey table And a ps5 for entertainment which I thought was awesome! All in all this place was great and will not hesitate to stay there again in future vacations!!

Older motel, but still VERY nice and well maintained. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have nice amenities: a free laundry and free smores kit for the fire they have for the guests. Very family oriented. There's a nice homey feel and the evening fire encourages community.

Its a 2 story building. They have no elevator, so if you can't make stairs, make sure to ask for first floor when you make reservations. They are dog friendly. Nice views. Close to restaurants and shops.
