Sauce on the Blue

We needed a place for some good Italian food and someone recommended this place. So glad we came here! Food was delicious and the service was impeccable! I would recommend making reservations if you can because they stay busy. We didn't have any and they were very accommodating anyway.

Rustic mountain town atmosphere that is really nice and clean. Staff is very friendly.
It has a typical Italian menu, lunch in my case, I think they have a different menu for dinner. I had a great lunch special that was as good as the presentation. Stuffed ravioli. They have a decent wine list and many of the bottles are kept on nitrogen, so it stays fresh. Will definitely eat here again.

Excellent service and great tasting food. The atmosphere is very cozy, perfect for a dinner after a long day of skiing. The wine selection, pasta, and dessert were all fantastic. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Food and service were fantastic! Best Italian in Silverthorne, Colorado! We had the Calamari appetizer. I had the Rainbow Trout, hubby had Rigatoni & Susage!

This was honestly the BEST Italian food I've had in a long, long time. Our party of 5 was seated quickly and our host was knowledgeable, attentive, and authentically friendly throughout the entire night! Food was phenomenal in every way and was a perfect start to our trip. Would absolutely recommend coming here while you're in town!

We got pit in a little bubble just for our family it was warm and very nice inside. And to be honest this was the best pizza I have ever had it was cooked perfectly and I would have it again. The workers were so king always being so polite and helping and dealing with my family. I would definitely come again.

It was brilliant from start to finish. There's something for everyone here and the service is stellar! Be sure to book a reservation; you will not be able to just slide in here. The arancini was fantastic, the fillet was a perfect medium rare, and my wife's pasta was spectacular. 10/10 would recommend

What a great choice to stop here coming back from the mountains, even if we got in gridlock because we stopped. We sat at the bar, and Jane gave us PERFECT service. Shout out to her (and her manager/ownership). We walked in, were greeted immediately, and the atmosphere was spacious and energetic. We were starving and my wife and I shared a salad and I had the Penne Gorgonzola. Both were amazing. The salad's dressing was pink, which made it unique looking, and the taste was so good. My pasta had grapes in it. I didn't know why initially, but the way they meshed with the heavy cheese was magical. If you are lucky, they will have the Lol-Tun sauce behind the bar. I am a hot sauce person, but admit to go slow on this stuff. Don't ruin the delicious food. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next road trip to the mountains. If you live close, you should be ashamed you haven't gone yet. Highly recommend.

Chicken parm is delish. Lots of parking. This place has great food and portions are large. I would say the service isn’t top notch but it’s not terrible. Everyone is friendly. Solid place to grab drinks and a bite to eat but not as good of an experience as Breckenridge Distillery. Calamari is huge and tasty.

Even though we didn’t partake, their well-curated selection of alcoholic beverages and an aesthetically pleasing bar is worth noting. Favorite Italian restaurant in Summit County. Their pizza is incredible and their app line up is to die for. Try their toasted ravioli, arancini, & calamari! Their pasta and sauces are on point as well, especially their bolognese. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Jay for being an awesome bartender!

Great discovery while staying here. Food is fantastic and the views outside are great, inside is very cosy too.

Make sure to orde the cheesebread, it's the best and the salsa that goes with it is to die for.

The sprouts are another go to, delicious.

All food was thoroughly enjoyable. Can reccomend.

My husband and I came to Silverthorne for our honeymoon and earlier in the week we stopped here for their happy hour. We liked it so much we came back for dinner for our last night. When we came up the host recognized my husbands saints hat and found out that he was also from the coast of Mississippi. They found out it was our honeymoon and while I’m sure there was a wait they immediately sat us. The food and atmosphere was fantastic and even with a full restaurant the staff did an amazing job of making sure each table was attended to in a timely manner. At the end of our meal they brought out a congratulations desert! Huge shoutout to Glenn and Jason for creating a great memory to end our trip on!

Amazing food! Incredibly friendly staff. And such a cute bar. Totally the perfect date night spot! We ordered garlic Parmesan bread, fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, and lamb. Drinks are strong! My husband got a Mexican mule and I ordered a lemon drop to go. YUM!

Lobster bisque was simply incredible. Everyone else at the table was fully satisfied and everything looked amazing. Well done Sauce on the Blue!

My family came in here after looking for a place to have dinner on a Thursday night. We are staying in Copper but came here to eat! They were fully booked but the very sweet hostess made room for us in the bar table area. She was so incredibly accommodating and we all very much appreciated her! The cocktails were excellent, the staff was all very friendly and the food was all delicious. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was very good! It tasted homemade and was perfectly seasoned and creamy! The atmosphere is also really comfortable. I’ll be happy to visit here again when we come back!

Simply amazing. We arrived around 5:30PM and were promptly seated on the patio. Our waitress was quick and friendly. We started with the calamari, which was a gigantic portion and an absolute steal for $16. We then got the family size rigatoni sausage for the two of us to split. It was a fantastic meal, great environment, and the most respectable pricing. We will return!

Incredible meal with incredible company! We went here on our last night in Colorado and could not ask for a better meal. We started with a Caesar salad that was very scrumptious for means we had the sausage and rigatoni pasta and a mushroom pizza. Both were incredible

The second you walk in your met with a amazing view I 100% recommend going here all the staff were just very nice and the atmosphere was great. But the best part for me was the supremo piazza it was AMAZING

Even without a reservation, we were seated in under 5 minutes. The staff is friendly, attentive but not intrusive, and are extremely good at keeping all their customers happy. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in the last 10 years. The food and wine are excellent, and the cost was right in line for the area. I highly recommend Sauce on the Blue. I expect it has a beautiful river view during the daylight hours as well.
