Aurum Food & Wine Breckenridge

We came for happy hour the night before; packed. Couldn't get a table. Next day we came back with a regular dinner reservation. The manager comp our table of seven with champagne. Waitress was great. Food really good and generous portion. Definitely go during happy hours and get half price appetizers. Dinner is a nice meal. Do make reservation for that.

This restaurant was so lovely. They were extremely friendly and prepared to deal with my gluten-free diet. Not only is over 50% of their menu Gluten Free, but they were happy, willing, and offered to make all the other dishes gluten-free. The atmosphere was great, and the dessert was delightful as well.

Best happy hour in Breck. Some of the best quality food in town, and really good drinks. Highly recommend making reservations, but you can walk in and sit at their bar or community table.

Love coming here for happy hour after hiking, skiing, off-roading. Happy hour prices are great, and you get to taste a good variety of food. Drinks are awesome. Service was great. We got there right at 4pm as they were removing the rope at entrance. About 20 people in line. Was back today 3/28. Great as always. The two woman bartenders were 100% hospitality!! Ty ladies!

Couldn't recommend this place more! Fabulous food and drinks! My husband and I did the chef's tasting menu last night and were obsessed. Came back for happy hour today to try more of the menu. Afterwards, decided we're going back for dinner tomorrow night. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and all the bar tenders and servers were just lovely!

The atmosphere and decor was not impressive but they more than make up for it with service and food. THE FOOD! Absolutely love the way they showcased the natural flavors of each ingredient harmoniously while also being packed with flavor. I’m still drooling over their duck entree and the tapenade with their burrata starter. On the pricier side but worth every cent!

Great restaurant. Tasty well thought out and fun food. Not fine dining but cool dining where every dish is excellent while the vibe is casual.
Excellent wine list and advice from the team too.
We really appreciated that they made an extra effort to accomodate some accesability issues of our party.
A great night out in a cool setting with excellent food.
Particularly we loved the polenta stacks, the pork belly and the burger. The Korean chicken was good as was the hamachi crudo and the “Ceasar” salad.
Not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this town.

Service was great. Food was great. A reservation is optional but would work best because it gets packed. There was a small line when they opened at 4PM. We ordered the crispy curried cauliflower, spaghetti squash fritters, and Aurum Cesar salad as appetizers. We also ordered the Korean fried chicken, Parker house rolls, and French onion burger. For dessert we ordered the Candied Apple Toffee Cake. Everything was great. We would return for more.

Favorite spot to eat in Breck! Delish farm to table ingredients. Creative dishes with depth. Amazing and friendly staff! Place to be for their great happy hour!

An exceptional dining experience. The steak, trout, pasta were all excellent. You must get the lobster bisque and the cauliflower starters. Great service and lovely atmosphere, its a little pricey but worth it.

The summer tasting menu is incredible. The staff is well versed in gluten free/celiac and the food is safe and feels good to eat. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings… come hungry. We finished with a dessert, somehow made room for that, it was a merengue and the perfect little sweet to top off.

Delicious. We came here on thanksgiving but picked our dishes from their regular menu. (Their thanksgiving specials did sound great though.) Everything was delicious and I would absolutely return the next time we are in Breckenridge.

Had an amazing dinner last night with our friends. Food was incredible and the service was excellent (thanks Kristin and Will)! I had the Rocky Mountain Trout (highly recommend !!) and my husband had the Burger which was juicy and delicious. We shared a Caesar salad to start which also had great flavor. We will absolutely be back!! Kristin mentioned an event food and drink pairing as a colab with Breckenridge Distillery this April - if anyone knows when/where that is please comment and let me know! Would love to come.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend and now I can recommend Aurum, too! Everything was delicious and the experience was great. Definitely worth a visit whenever in Breckenridge!

This place has phenomenal food & a modern chill vibe. Their happy hour prices are really reasonable, & the food delicious! The curry cauliflower was to die for, & the burger with carmelized onion jam & Parmesan fries is the best burger I’ve ever had. Our waitress was fantastic! We will be back! I’m regret that we’ve been missing out on this place on prior trips here.

We have been coming to Breckenridge every year for twenty years. Breckenridge has a lot of amazing delicious restaurants. However, Aurum has become the favorite. I usually hate eating at the same restaurant twice in one visit with so many other good ones but my husband and I agree that we always dine at Aurum at least twice because it is that delicious. It has lots of unique dishes with unique flavors that go incredibly well together. It is pricey but worth it and also...it is Breckenridge so prices everywhere are higher. Because we have a couple teenagers we have to pay for, we often make reservations for the happy hour time and that saves us quite a bit of money. The curried cauliflower appetizer is amazing and my husband and son have become quite little pigs when it comes to the Korean chicken, both of which are on the happy hour menu. I am thrilled to see all the fabulous reviews since that means they should be sticking around awhile. Also, the atmosphere is trendy, clean, and cozy so not sure what one reviewer meant when they said they didn't think the atmosphere was great?

Stopped by here on a trip through the state. The place did not disappoint! While it is really fancy and has an upscale vibe, the portions are very generous and the happy hour is a great deal. The food was fresh and delicious and the bar menu is great too. Would definitely visit again.

The place is very elegant and has an inviting atmosphere and very friendly staff. The Chef of Cuisine Zach Brace is very creative and his signature dishes with oriental flavor reminded me of some fine dining experience in Singapore. The food and service was amazing and quite a highlight of our week in Breckenridge, where are many very good food options. The dinner in Aurum was a very pleasant event.

Cocktails were creative and outstanding. Some of the best I've ever had. Their dishes are creative and perfectly balanced flavors. The happy hour specials are too good to be true. We saw the inside of one of the yurts and wished we had scheduled ahead far enough to have gotten to eat in one. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Next time we visit Breckenridge we will be stopping by here again.

Came here for happy hour and it’s a great deal! Apps are 50% off and some drinks are HH. The staff and general atmosphere were great and the food was awesome! The burger (not pictured) is a must and the Brussels Sprouts. The Caesar salad was just ok compared to the rest of the appetizers so probably won’t get it next time but everything else was spot on!
