Breckenridge Rental Car

Had a really great experience with these guys. It's a smaller rental car company, so the process is a little different from what you typically see with the big players, but in my experience it was smooth and hassle free.

The car I received was in good condition and well-equipped for the area (all wheel drive, etc). Staff was friendly, helpful, and honest. No shenanigans or hidden fees.

They'll even let you leave the car at DIA for an extra fee, if that's what you need to do (the attached photo is of the car I received when I dropped it at the airport parking lot)

Anyway, highly recommend, would rent again.

We had a great experience with Breckenridge Rental Car Service. My wife and I flew in the Denver CO. We were given clear instructions on where to go and meet our driver at the airport. Peter did a great job communicating with us. They delivered our car directly to the garage near where we collected our luggage. We signed our paperwork and were on our way in less than 15 minutes. The car was in good condition and drove well. It gave us peace of mind knowing we had snow tires and all wheel drive since we were going to the mountains. We were given clear instructions on how to return the vehicle. We will use this company again when we take another trip to this area.

We had a great experience with this business. Easily made reservations, fair pricing. Friendly and helpful owner Peter and his employee, available by phone and text. Nice fleet of well equipped vehicles. They even went above and beyond and gave us a courtesy ride to and from the hotel on a Saturday to the car pickup location.

The situation: myself + wife + 2 little kids + 2 in-laws, heading up toward Vail for a couple day getaway. We run into engine troubles driving up toward the Eisenhower Tunnel. Oh, and it's a Sunday, so every mechanic within 50 miles is closed. Oh, and so is every single car rental place... EXCEPT this one!

Breckenridge Rental Car saved the day and salvaged what would have otherwise been a disastrous family vacation. Our fun was delayed by about 2 hours while we figured out how to limp over to Breckenridge, meet up with Pete at the office, and then transfer all our luggage and kiddie gear from one vehicle to another. We got a vehicle that perfectly fit our needs, and the ability to keep it for a couple of days and then drop it off at Denver Int'l Airport made life so much easier once we headed back home.

My family minivan has been in the shop for 3 weeks while we've been fighting over warranty issues. Meanwhile, we *didn't* spend the last 3 weeks trying to hitchhike back home from the mountains, which surely would've been the case if not for Breckenridge Rental Car. Great service, great car, and totally saved our bacon! 🥓

Our group travelled from TX to CO for a birthday weekend. We forgot it was the off season and needed a SUV to get around. The process was super easy. Literally a 3 minute pickup process. I know how the rental process works so I sent my insurance info in the day before, which helped.

We had such a good time traveling in and around Vail. The SUV handled well on the road, and believe me when I say I drive the hell out of vehicles.

Pete was super helpful. We’ll be renting a vehicle again when we return in January!

Rented a car during Spring Break. Since we needed to drive the car from the Denver Airport to the ski resort, I needed to make sure I had was a snow equipped car (4-wheel drive, snow tires & ski racks). Renting from traditional car rental places wouldn't guarantee those features. I was nervous about going through a smaller/privately owned set up - but the overall experience was exceptional. The guy delivered our car to us at the airport, he was thorough and professional. Showed up at the designated spot on time. The car was a bit older (2018ish I think - Hyundai Tucson) - but handled perfectly and was very clean and I was comfortable it would handle well in the snow. We left the car parked at the airport and texted him where it was located. Very strange feeling - but a great experience. We will use them again.

Great service! I had car issues and needed to get back to Denver. They had a vehicle ready for me when I arrived and I was able to drop it off at the airport which was very convenient. I strongly recommend!

If you're in need of a way to get to Breckenridge from Denver International but your luggage/equipment is too large for the shuttle services, consider using Breckenridge Rental Car!

I couldn't be happier with my experience using Breckenridge Rental Car. I was picked up exactly when and where I was supposed to by a very professional and friendly driver named Nathan. Peter was very helpful with arranging the logistics and communicated very clearly.

Great service! I rented a car at DIA from another rental car company and it didn't have good tires so we couldn't get to our rental house in Silverthorne. We called these guys and they set us up with nice car with 4 wheel drive and awesome tires. They saved our vacation!

These guys were amazing. I was on vacation from Texas and my truck broke down in the Gondola parking lot. I called these guys at around 15 minutes before they were closing (my only complaint is Google says they are open until 10PM - that is only for reservations - not pickup - I think they are actually open until 5PM and I called them at around 4:45PM). I was in a serious bind. Had AAA on its way to try and get my pickup working, but if they couldn't I would have had no way to get myself, fiance and 3 kids back to Fairplay (1 HR away) that night. Have absolutely no idea what I would have done. In a huge act of grace, they drove over to the Gondola station and picked me up (which is not their standard policy) and rented me a Dodge Caravan. It was front wheel drive with snow tires and worked great. Absolutely saved my rear.

In response to a criticism I see on this site from Blake B, I had a similar experience with them first offering one car but then having it get rented for the next day. They weren't trying to pull a fast one; they simply had someone call while I was also talking to them and they needed the first car we discussed the next morning, and for several days. I don't fault them for handing that rental over to the other group. I would do the exact same if it was my business. They had a customer who needed a car for multiple days and I was a customer who needed an emergency vehicle for one day and I might have needed it for more, but I didn't know for sure.

Remember this is a small shop in Breckenridge. They have a limited number of vehicles. If you want Enterprise or Hertz service and get to pick you a snow tank at a moments notice, you have the wrong impression of what options are at hand!

So anyway, these people were amazing. They took care of me in a serious time of need and I was incredibly grateful. I'd use them again for sure and I'd recommend them. I'm not saying they'll pick you up!! But I will promise you they are super nice and helpful and I'm glad they were there.

I rented a Jeep last week on my family trip to the mountains. We had a blast exploring some of the trails in Breckenridge & Alma. The Jeep was awesome. I'll be back next year!!!

Excellent service, friendly rental agents and a smooth and over all great experience! I rented an AWD Hyundai Tuscon and it was a great vehicle and met my needs for driving in snowy mountain conditions. I plan to rent from Breckenridge Rental Car again on my next trip to Breckenridge.

This place is awesome! We were desperate for a vehicle and they came through for us! They came and picked us up and took us back to their office to do the paperwork. Unbelievable customer service..... thank you so much!
