Incredible experience. Sat at the bar and felt such positive energy truly radiating from the staff, and the food was beyond all my high expectations.

There were only two of us, but we tried 3 starters, 2 mains, and each had a dessert. It was a lot of food but it was so amazing, we ate everything…. I know the menu changes frequently, so this might not be helpful, but my favorite dishes were the blue crab starter, the pork tenderloin (!!), and brownie dessert. Bonus was the best espresso martini I’ve ever tried.

Save this for a special occasion and treat yourself to as much as you can - it’s worth it. Thank you to the Rootstalk team for your kind hospitality. 💕

This was quite possibly the best meal my wife and I have ever had. I had the pan roasted duck and my wife had the sea bass. Both excellent. The atmosphere was stunning and alive, we celebrated our anniversary and at every turn we were met with the most accommodating service ever. We've already mentally booked this restaurant for our next anniversary.

Creative, tasty dishes from a perfectly crafted tasting menu. Even the more unapproachable dishes (from my basic non-foodie standpoint) were really good! Our waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable, and she took her time to explain where the ingredients for most of our dishes were sourced and other interesting information. The drinks were super tasty, the Ultraviolet especially.

My small group had an absolutely delightful dinner here. The food was amazing, service was excellent and cocktails were superb. We were so glad that we had made a reservation here and would definitely come back whenever we're in town.

This might have been the best meal of my life. And I don't say that lightly. I had the spring tasting menu and everything was absolutely perfect. Every course was an amazing mix of flavors and textures that were a new combination. The only course that stand out like the others was only was the steak course, and even that was very good. The service and atmosphere were also perfect. I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars.

We had an amazing birthday dinner. Very accommodating and have great happy hour specials. Definitely get the tasting menu and wine pairing.. you will not be disappointed.

We went on recommendations from people over the last few years. I'm so glad we finally went! Their menu is full of amazing food. The rigatoni on the apres menu is simply some of the best pasta I've ever had. We will definitely go back.

The Chef's Tasting and service were truly excellent. We sat at the counter in the cellar and enjoyed watching and chatting with the chefs. They were able to accommodate our allergies and a preference, which was appreciated. My only "complaint" was that it so good and so much food, I would have liked to spread out over the entire day rather than two hours! We'll be back!

Rootstalk in Breckenridge is hands down the best restaurant in town. Among all the high-end places we tried, Rootstalk stood out with its innovative recipes and the best French onion soup I’ve ever tasted. Their cocktail, the Ultraviolet, was absolutely incredible. The service was impeccable, and the heritage building has been renovated charmingly, blending old-world allure with a modern twist. Highly recommend!

Whether you're savoring a perfectly cooked duck breast or indulging in their vegetarian options, the french onion soup is the best we tasted outside of France, every bite is a testament to their dedication to quality. Rootstalk Breckenridge is a must-visit for any food enthusiast seeking an unforgettable dining experience, it will not be long before Michelin knock on their door, and you wont be able to gain a reservation.

Spectacular! Food and service is amazing. Happy from 4:00 to 5:00. We had no reservation but got there a bit before 4:00 to get in line. Sat at the bar but appears they honor happy hour at all tables (have outside dining too). $7 and $8 drink specials and wine. Discounted small bites include a couple that are mains (burger and fries, sausage pasta). We had the summer vegetable falafel with taziki - we were just in Greece and this was as good or better than there. Wait staff perform as an orchestrated team, never miss a beat with the customers. Will be back to this Michelin level restaurant.

The 7 course menu is a must try in Breckenridge. We had a very great time celebrating my wife’s birthday here. I would give it 6 star if I can, each of the course is a perfect combination of flavor and dish arrangement!

The chef's counter 7 course tasting menu was mind blowingly good and extremely creative. Cocktails were excellent.

The seven course chefs menu was exquisitely done with a mastery of presentation and melding of flavors. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. As a native of New Orleans, many times when out of New Orleans finding amazing food is difficult. Rootstock was one of two restaurants in the west that i will return to if I am within a reasonable distance.

Just had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at the bar at Rootstalk. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived till the moment we left, and the food was just as incredible. Wonderful experience and cannot wait to return. Thank you!

Yes. Simply “YES”. I sat at the bar…alone…on a Sunday night…observing and enjoying Rootstalk in all its grandieur. A Limerick Lane Zin by the glass? I’m hooked. Bringing back memories of multiple trips to Sonoma County and our young boys playing in the sandbox at the vineyard on Limerick Lane while my wife and I enjoy the tasting room. Pair that with the NY strip and I’m in heaven. I could go on and on…I should! But I’m going to enjoy this post dinner H.Y.B. I’m an old fashioned guy but this has me rethinking my creations in my basement bar. Thank you for a remarkable experience.

What an amazing dining experience! I've traveled worldwide and count this as one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I selected the 7 Course Chef's Choice. What an amazing restaurant! We went for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed every minute of our experience. We ordered the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings and sat at the chef’s table. The staff allowed our 6 yr old son to sit with us and watch the chef’s create amazing plates. Each dish tasted delicious and the wine paired well with each course. We were thrilled to support such a wonderful local restaurant.

Rootstalk is a MUST every time we come to Breckenridge - the atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the food is creative yet filling (compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳🤌), and the service is always top notch (especially Elizabeth)! The cocktails and dessert deserve their own shoutout as well. Definitely make your way here for a well deserved indulgent evening!
