Modis Breck

Went here to celebrate our engagement, and it was such a good experience! The wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating of my dairy allergy. The food was amazing! The mussels, wedge salad, pork Marsala, and chicken with smashed potatoes were *insert chefs kiss here* The cocktails were delicious as well! Definitely recommend this spot!

Our group’s dinner experience here was, to say the least, an experience - mostly memorable were the interactions we had with our waiter (all positive, lots of laughing and jokes). Our waiter, Adam, rose to the occasion rescuing us with more drinks when we couldn’t rescue ourselves.

For food, I ordered the Filet and Brie, and it was very flavorful and filling. There were only ~5 entrees on the dinner menu so you don’t have much to choose from.

Someone else in the group ordered the scallops, and commented that it wasn’t very filling for the price compared to other entrees.

I enjoyed my early dinner at Modis Breck. It is quintessential Colorado - casual mountain chic. The hostess, server and all staff were very nice, chatty and helpful. The decor is awesome and blends historic and modern well. I had the scallops with the carrot ginger bisque. Both were very tasty. The prices were high, but what you would expect in Breckenridge.

Modis is amazing. We've eaten there twice. Both times have been excellent. The food is beyond delicious and the staff is very friendly. This time we ate mussels, pasta, salmon, and butter cake. I would eat all of those again. They do take reservations via open table and I would highly recommend it. The first time we ate there was in the middle of the ski season and it was jammed packed. The second time was at the end of the ski season and it wasn't super crowded.

Stopped by for a couple of drinks on a random Wednesday night and got super lucky to have found this bar/restaurant. We had a couple of drinks, I highly recommend The Dayman. Miami Matt, and Justin were super cool bartenders! The vibe was awesome. Definitely check this place out.

One of the best spaces n town for the unique interior atmosphere...and they take their craft cocktails very seriously...but not so serious that they aren’t friendly and helpful at the bar. I like the compact, high end menu and all the dishes are skillfully presented. One tip...the chef likes to toss zesty fresh jalapeños in just about everything we tried...which might b too much heat for a lot of folks. Enjoy.

I’ve been here a few times and I always enjoy the food. They have an extremely gluten-free friendly menu. I got the half chicken, which came with blueberries- yes it sounds weird but they complemented the chicken so beautifully. My friend got the Lamb Lolli’s and really enjoyed them as well.

Great ombionce! The service and attention of the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly even with a packed house. The food was creative & pretty good. The music and overall place has a classy relaxed vibe. When your visiting Breck gotta try for a nice dinner experience.

Absolutely beautiful resturant.. Such a romantic atmosphere once you step inside. We love the cocktails and the filet & bree entree was to die for!! We also got the Apple pie ice cream.. And my wife said it's her favorite apple pie dessert she's ever had! I would highly recommend making a reservation here and getting the best of Breckenridge! Sam our server was super friendly and knowledgeable.. He was very versed in Whisky's and was able to give a good recommendation for both the cocktails and the food! 5- Star is every aspect!!

Our party of 4 stopped by Modis on a recent trip to Breck in August. We had popped in earlier in the day and the host asked us to pick exactly which table we wanted for dinner. That was a nice touch!

The bar is very well-stocked and the bartenders were very skilled as the drinks we were served were exceptional.

Dinner continued to impress as all of our entrées were excellent. Of particular note was the Lobster Gnocchi as it was the lightest and fluffiest gnocchi any of us had ever eaten (that includes multiple trips to Italy).

We really enjoyed the evening and will certainly be returning the next time we're in town.

Visiting from TEXAS. If your looking for Specialty cocktails this is the place to be. Bartenders take time to make well balanced drinks that are tasteful and enjoyable. Went to other bars/restaurants but was unable to finish my drink. The balance of alcohol and flavor was not there.

Oh my goodness I love eating here! This is our second time eating at Modis and the food did not disappoint. Last time I had the Duck Ramen, which was soooo good. I was hoping to have it again this time but they updated their menu. No matter because we had the mussels for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the noodles and my husband the salmon (which was their special of the day). I am not a fan of salmon but the crust on this one was done perfectly. For dessert, I decided to try their butter cake and wow! My husband is not normally a dessert person but he ate about half of it. So good. Cannot wait to eat here again next year!

The ambiance was great, the service was great, the food was great, the drinks were great!

There was not one part of this meal that was a letdown. First of all when you walk in the location is just wonderful, it is super lively inside, and well decorated. I personally would recommend trying to sit upstairs if possible.

Drinks wise - I got the "Ramos Cousin Pablo" which was a fantastic gin drink similar to a Ramos Gin Fizz with their own play on it. My friends got whiskey drinks and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Food wise - we got a bunch of the appetizers to split. DELICIOUS! Everything was flavorful and cooked well and for american fare food it wasn't fried or salty which is always a concern with that cuisine. The one thing I didn't care for was the mushroom bruschetta item. Not that great but still good.

Desserts - we got the creme brulee and it was wonderful.

Honestly, everything about this place was fantastic. Definitely definitely definitely visit!

This place has a great atmosphere. The bartenders are great. I had a smoky old fashioned and it was excellent. I highly recommend the smoke.

We got the steak and fries which was really really good. The butter and sauce taste great together.

Also tried the chicken sliders. They're really spicy. Good taste but very hot.

Would recommend when in town. If you like steak, definitely try the steak and fries.

Went in looking for a drink. Robert was able to steer us in the right direction based on what we told him we liked. He told us about different barrel picks and unique bottles. I ended up getting their single barrel pick knob Creek rye and a Buffalo trace barrel pick.

Absolutely amazing experience at Modis. The staff here deserve the highest compliments - incredibly kind and friendly 😬 Amazing happy hour and I can’t recommend the brussel sprouts enough! One of the best happy hours in Breck, and the steak frites (also photo’d) were cooked to total perfection

THANK YOU Modis for dreaming up such creative, excellent vegetarian food in Breck! My husband had one of the most mouth-watering, perfectly seasoned, crisp crusted top sirloin steaks he’s ever tasted, with silky flavorful potatoes. But if you’re vegetarian try the teriyaki marinated jackfruit, which tasted a bit like kung pao spices, with broccolini, rice and pineapple. After trying many bland, overpriced restaurants in Breck, this place really brings it—flavor, flavor, flavor. Great service, amazing interior, rooftop dining with mountain view,, great time.

What a delight! We wanted a light lunch with a view, out of the sun, with a bit of romance. Modis totally delivered! The whole place is beautiful and welcoming, tasteful but not pretentious. We were greeted by Jason who found us the perfect spot on their rooftop. Danielle provided excellent service, making winning recommendations from the bar and the menu. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Loved this place so much, had the Modis Steak and it came with the most amazing bone marrow fried rice. They also make great speakeasy style cocktails. Service was great and fast and the food was phenomenal. My friend got an appetizer as a meal and it ended up being the same portion as the entree (Korean spare ribs with kimchi cornbread).
