I have been searching for a MOB dress since May. I've had all kinds of experiences with shopping-both good and bad but no dress. I had the very best time at Vera's this week and finally found a perfect dress for my daughter's wedding. I also felt that the pricing was spot on with what I had seen at all the other stores, boutiques and online. The selection of gowns is amazing. (They also have some wedding dresses, prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses there--they had lots and lots of Mother of Bride/Groom and evening gowns) The owners were wonderful and knowledgable about their dresses--I was treated so well. What I loved is that they were able to give helpful advise that was very much appreciated. They stayed with me as I tried on my dresses. I did make an appointment and that is the way to go--but you will not be disappointed because even if you don't find your dress there, you will be able to try on many options as their on-site inventory is large. If you come in without an appointment and they are not busy--they will definitely welcome you to try on because they are very friendly and helpful--but I would avoid Saturdays for that. Best of all--they can give you information on alterations because it is done in house as you are trying on the gowns--that is so helpful in making a decision on a special dress.

I was so happy that I took my mother here to try on dresses as a MOB! Vera was so accommodating to my mom's needs with a dress and made her try on things she normally would not of in most situations. Alterations went very smoothly with Vera and she can make quick adjustments on the spot (ex: tightening a strap) when needed.

For MOB's or MOG's who don't want to have a dress that ages them up too much (such as my mom), Vera has plenty of dress selections that are appropriate for any age and modesty level.

Took a chance at calling Vera's to see if I could stop in to see MOB dresses understanding appointments are recommended. Vera said absolutely stop in, but was upfront and honest if I wanted to try on I may have to wait until a room was available. I'm glad I did with my husband. Vera was so accommodating, suggested best size for me knowing that every designer is different and the wide variety of styles and colors was unbelievable. Needless to say, I'm still teary eyed as I found my special MOB dress and in the exact color I was looking for. Vera, I can't thank you enough for your genuineness, honesty and kindness you showed to me the entire time I was there. Vera and her staff are my fairy Godmothers! My daughter is getting married in two months and I realized that I hate the dress I picked out. Found my homecoming dress here months ago, went today to find my prom dress with my family. Vera is absolutely so sweet and very helpful & so is the rest of her staff. I absolutely adore this store and couldn’t thank you enough! I found an absolutely stunning dress and it is truly one of a kind! I said yes to the dress today!

I trusted Vera's with my bridal gown and I am so happy that I did. Vera had me come in for a fitting and when time came to pick up my dress, I tried it on and it was PERFECT. I was blown away at how well she did after only one fitting. My dress had 8+ layers and a lot of detail. It was no small job. She is so talented at what she does and truly knows what she is doing. I highly recommend the store for alterations but also prom/mother of the bride and or groom/wedding guest dress shopping. The selection is huge. In fact, my mom was bummed we didn't go in before she found her dress for my wedding.

My oldest son got married in July. Because of Covid, I was not able to shop for a dress in person in the spring, so I ordered a dress online using custom measurements. Unfortunately, when the dress arrived, it fit horribly. I drove two hours to a store that I had been anxious to shop at and was extremely disappointed in their selection and service. On a whim, my friend and I went to Vera's. What an amazing experience!! Vera started pulling dresses in the color I liked, and encouraged me to try on a dress I would have never picked for myself. When I walked out of the dressing room and my friend's jaw hit the floor- I knew I had found my dress!! It was very last minute - Vera had less than a week to complete the alterations, but she did and they were perfect. I received countless compliments on my dress and how I Iooked. I am so grateful to Vera and I highly recommend her store!

I went to Vera’s today to find a Mother of the Bride dress. Vera was gracious and so helpful without hovering. With her expertise I found the perfect dress - which wasn’t as easy as it might seem as there are SO MANY beautiful dresses in a variety of styles and in all sizes and colors to choose from. She really knows her designers and how to work with them. I highly recommend Vera’s for everything from a young lady’s confirmation, to prom, cocktail attire, all the way up to black tie elegance. It’s all there. Excellent experience!

Vera’s offered an extremely wide variety of colors, style and sizes. Vera was so very helpful in helping me to find the perfect dress for my daughter’s wedding. I was given the perfect amount of assistance yet enough time to make my decision without feeling rushed. Their pricing was fair and they offer in store alterations as well. My experience here was wonderful and I would highly recommend visiting when you a have a special occasion that you want to look your best for.

Vera was so kind at my appointment. I asked for an estimation appointment and she also made time for me to get the measurements for my alterations as well. She worked well between customers as she had a few of us in the store at the same time. Vera was very knowledgeable and helped me make my dress perfect for my wedding. I’m very glad I found out about this shop! I’ll be recommending Vera’s to everyone I know.

My daughters found her prom dress at Vera's. We had a great experience. They have a large selection of beautiful dresses of varying styles. The ladies working there were very helpful. Alterations are not included in the price but the work they did was worth the cost and they did a perfect job. I will go back to Vera's again for any other formals we need.

Vera personally helped us and she was amazing! She assisted in picking out the dress and altered it herself. This was for my daughter’s prom. Couldn’t have had a better experience. I will definitely return.
