Smitty's Carpet and Flooring

We are very happy with our new flooring in our bedroom, hall, and living room. The installer, Jeb, was prompt, hard-working, and efficient. (Working alone, and finished in 2 days!). Thank you, Jeb, for a good job.

Wow. Our new floors from Smitty’s are absolutely amazing. The workers were super nice people too. The entire experience from the first time walking in the door to the last moment the guys put down the final piece was flooring was top notch. Smitty and his team did a fantastic job with our floors. Tyler who led the installation crew was a true pro who did everything he could to not just get it in correctly and be done, but to take extra steps like matching wood grain and blending with other floors and trim. Huge upgrade to our home!

The entire experience from purchase to installation was exceptional. We had to have flooring put into two of our bathrooms, and the employees were friendly, knowledgeable and patient as we went through the process. They spent time with us and helped us make a great decision.

Additionally, the timeframe was fast. Having had other floors installed, we anticipated a month or two wait. That was not the case. In fact, despite having to special order our selected flooring, they were still ready to install in two weeks.

Going further, on the day of our scheduled installation, we had a pet emergency. They had no problem rescheduling for the next week, which was an enormous relief.

Finally, and most impressively, Dennis and Nick, who installed the floors, were professional, respectful, and did an exemplary job. Though the nature of the work required two different days to complete, they arrived on time both days, worked quickly, and cleaned-up everything. That is to say nothing of the excellent job they did with the installation and the advice they also offered me, as I asked questions about how to move forward with other prep in those rooms.

That itself would have been outstanding, but they went “above and beyond” (usually a cheap phrase, but appropriate here) in a) identifying a problem with a toilet seal and fixing it and b) making a repair to the front door for us, which I had put-off for some time. Dennis noted, “He saw it was a problem and figured it would get worse as they went in and out of the house,” so made the repair.
In the end, I think this is a great business from the front of the house team to the installation crew.

I’m no expert on flooring price, and we always shop locally, so we didn’t price around, but I can say I found the price far lower than I expected. Also, to be treated well at each phase in the process is, in my opinion, as the old Mastercard ad used to say, “priceless.”

Smitty and his staff are outstanding. Very professional, friendly, helpful, courteous. The man who installed the carpet was also equally pleasant and friendly. Did a really great job installing the carpet and meticulously cleaned up afterwards. I had never seen anyone do that from anywhere else before. I was so impressed from start to finish. These guys come very highly recommended from me. Quality and prices are hard to beat. We are customers for life.

My wife and I needed new floors in our living room, dining room and bedrooms. We went to Smitty’s and he met with us personally and was very kind and extremely helpful. Michael really is an expert when it comes to flooring. He came to our house personally measured our rooms and then helped us pick out the right flooring for our floors. I have dealt with Smitty's Floors now for many years. I have sent him customers because he's such a great guy. Prices are great and quality of materials carpet, tile, hardwood ect are outstanding I've seen a few bad reviews but don't let that fool you. some of these complaints are just not right. I wish I could reply to them without giving them a piece of my mind. Go there and purchase quality flooring and tell him Scott Byers sent you

Needed a room carpeted I went in looked around for a few. Actually quickly helped smitty came out we settled on details they came a few days later and done in a couple hours. Really couldn't have gone better so disregard the impatient people that act like a labor business is McDonalds. Great job guys very polite also. Will get future business from me for sure 👍

Perfection! What a stress free easy process. I put it off for nothing! They are very knowledgeable and professional and no haggling no hassles. A couple people commented to me that I “could have got flooring for cheap and stuck it down myself “ WHAT??? They removed the baseboards, the vents, it looks like the floors were built in when the house was built! High quality and good prices. So happy I was finally able to do this! I only have carpet on the stairs and it’s great carpet too !

Used Smitty’s for my basement for the purchase and install of Coretec Plus LVT. Was a pleasant and easy process with Smitty and his team. They scheduled me promptly and the install was great. A+++++!

The service I got was awesome. The prices were 1/4 of all the other 5 places I went to. Should of started there. There were so many options on remnants and his installion prices are awesome. Had nothing but a great experience.
