The Oliver Acreage

If you are looking for a most pleasant experience as well as an excellent bed and breakfast, this is it. It is a secluded oasis of beauty and quiet yet within 15 minutes of shopping, restaurants and bike trails. The owners have established a beautiful home-bed & breakfast and grounds which indeed feels like home and yet has decor to make you feel cozy comfortable... and is immaculate, clean and well taken care of. They are very creative and also 'good people' who enjoy their guests. Breakfasts are wonderful and varied and can also be tailored to your needs. I recommend The Oliver Acreage to anyone who wants a beautiful and relaxing place to stay or vacation.

We had the opportunity to tour Oliver Acreage and what a gracious couple and awesome venue site. Gerri and Dick have poured their love and talents into their beautiful home. It is a lovely B & B along with an antiquated Barn Lodge for their clients to enjoy and replenish. If you are looking for a place to relax and restore and enjoy the warmth and peacefulness of the lakes country - this is it! I stayed at The Oliver Acreage on a recent weeknight when visiting the area for a business trip, and had a thoroughly satisfying and restful stay. Gerri and Dick welcomed me with good conversation, great food, and impeccably clean accommodations. The multi-course breakfast was similar to what I would expect at a nice restaurant in the Twin Cities, and all freshly prepared. The house is relatively new, very tastefully decorated, and doesn't have the creaks and temperature quirks that can be found in a vintage property. I would definitely return when travels take me to the Brainerd Lakes Area again.

Peaceful. Comfortable. Serene. Such a beautiful home, fantastic breakfast and genuinely warm and gracious hosts. Thank you, Dick and Gerri - we can't wait to come back.

Wow! Great B&B. A little off the beaten path if you want in on the Brainerd action, but if you're looking for a retreat, go stay here. Truly beautiful place and green service.
